Good morning to all! Thank you all for the pats on the back, etc. I hope y'all do know I was seriously kidding about all that.
I know vacuuming the floors is the very barest minimum I can possibly do.
But... guess one has to start SOMEWHERE, right?
Doesn't Flylady or P&P or somebody say to make sure WEEKLY ROUTINES are in place before you start zones/focus cleaning?
Well... maybe I'll try to just quit thinking about what ZONE I'm supposed to be in and just try to concentrate on the weekly routine for a while.

I'll try to have some kind of ta-da to report later.

I did want to say WTG, Dee's dgd!!! I know it may be two steps forward, one step back for awhile, but oh my... it's sooo great that there is something GOOD going on with her!!! Hope springs eternal.
Tomorrow is another day.

I just had a major TADA. I don't have to pay the $800.00 for the bi-pap machine I didn't qualify for and haven't used because I didn't need it.

I finally talked with someone at the company that knew it was wrong what they were doing. I also found out the threat not to deliver oxygen to me until it was paid was hot air.

I didn't think they wanted to wait 80 months (6 years and 9 months) for me to pay it off. Which I expected. If it would have been something I needed or said yes to then I would have paid the whole thing off on day one.

Good morning everyone! I have lots of TaDas from last night. I did everything on my list except the optional item. That means I brought the trash and recycle bins in, put a frame for a painting in my car, added an item to the grocery list, went to the library, updated Quickend, and transferred some money from checking to savings, and worked with the new foster cat. I did not work on the optional de-sealing the bathtub. I also finished a doll dress, by sewing on some buttons, even though that was not on the list. My real TADA: I now have 4 months of salary in my savings account as of yesterday, even though I had to pay for a cruise yesterday.

Tonight is art class night and I will get nothing done except for that and possibly some work with the new foster cat. She still hisses at me when I come in, but likes being petted anyway.

Happy for you, Indiana. (Ta-Da)

lucylee, I was completely sincere :| in thinking you had enough of a Ta-Da there to be teased about. It's been a long time since that much vacuuming wasn't Ta-Da status around here. If I wasn't impressed I would have left you alone. ;)

Glad you got to sew, Elizabeth. Good job on handling your monthly budget so sensibly, guarding your savings, and taking good care of your pocketbook day-to-day.

I am only posting out of nerves - I hope I'm not catching :?
My ddad is "fixing the toilet" in the front (his) bath. Over and over again. I fear he may damage it. I really don't know what to do. There is a possibility it was running-on before he started this, but I find that doubtful since I never noticed any problem and he can't hear well enough to catch that sound, I don't think. By now, however, I think there really is something wrong. I'm also worried about the tank lid itself clanking and banging like it is, time and again, since I know they can chip or break. I've gotten him to stop once, but he just goes back and closes the door and won't come out. Until now, I have never stepped over privacy boundaries when he is in the bathroom. Today may be the day. A man could do it, but HRH will not be home for hours and ds is on a trip, dstepson at work.

(((Harriet)))) I'm afraid I don't have a useful suggestion aside from asking him to go for a walk up the driveway with you (or maybe to walk around back and count the chickens.) With mom, distraction was the only way we could get her to stop unproductive behaviours. Luckily, she was far enough 'gone' that a small amount of distraction was all that was needed. We used to 'reboot' her by taking her outside, or going outside ourselves and come in loudly announcing ourselves so that she would then recognize us.

LOL, I got nothin' so far today. :) Secretary at temple isn't there today so I'll plan to spend some time there with her tomorrow, and also set up a meeting with Treasurer guy there tomorrow. I need to be at the JCC a little before 7 p.m. tonight for the Yom Hashoah observance.

Weather is nice enough today that we've put the deck and patio furniture back out.

H. is going to grill tuna for us today yummo!

I've watched my knitting show it's the last one for the season did a few rows of knitting did a color change as well. Granny duty begins in a few min. earlier today; but it's good we can do a walk and see the crew working up the street to put in conduit for electrical we've decided that's what it must be too small for water or sewer Men Working sign is in the road between us and the neighbors.

Ooohhh... (((Harriet))) I just don't know how you do it... I guess like Mammy said about Scarlett, "the good Lord gives that child (YOU) the strength to do what she has to do..."

And I really do appreciate all y'all's praise for my little ta-da! I just didn't want y'all to think I was over-feeling my own importance or something!

I am going out to walk now w/dh. * Another ta-da! *
Tomorrow is another day.
