A VDFriend told me yesterday about her plans to go forward with br*east reduction surgery. She is very much dreading the procedure and recovery but is sooooo looking forward to the results. She said - I can't wait until it is over and I can go to Vic*torias and buy me some PRETTY bras.
Happy Birthday Thursday

MT - YGG! Pretty clothes (even those that mostly go unsee by others) make us feel good!

MT I love pretty bras.
OKay I would love to post outside but our wifi doesn't reach to where we go. It does in another area.
dgniece5's best friend got new cochlear implants. He had to show them to her on his way home. The new ones are water proof. He took his first shower with them and was so excited because he could hear the water. He couldn't go to the beach because of the sand and water with his new ones he can and he can go fishing with dniece5.
He will be able to hear water splash in a pool and lake. It is a whole new world for him.

I'm up and at it. Still am feeling worn out and at war with my body. It doesn't help that the meds make me feel worse. At least they are partly working.
I'm off to a neighbour's house to help her with her computer. Something has gone wrong lately. I hope I can figure out what and fix it.

Re: Happy Birthday Thursday
HAPPY, HAPPY, BIRTHDAY, SADIE!
I've been doing computer/desk/paper work for dh. Now have that all ready to mail to him. Going to see DSisIL for a while in a little bit. At least I'm done with counting change at school. DD was flabbergasted -her team brought in over $2,700 from their school in 4 days. This just happens to be one of the 'poorer' schools in the district so she was overwhelmed to say the least. Even cried off and on yesterday. I don't think she begins to realize how much she is respected and loved in that school!
I looked at her evaluation comments online and they could just blow ME away.
I've been VERY nervous about this particular challenge dh handed me the other day. He asked me yesterday "Are you over the shock yet?" In a word -NO! I'm still not. But I did all the paperwork he had asked for. We'll see>>>>>>>>>.
It's now 10:20 and I haven't even eaten yet. Guess I'll grab a slice of toast and move out the door. I at least did a DPC and called to cancel my Dr's appointment for next Friday. I'll make a new one when I get up north. Probably not until June however. As it is dh and I will both have lots of appointments this summer. He's (past) due for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I need to go to his eye doctor -I'm almost sure cataract surgery is in my future. Have to renew my driver's license by the 24th so have to have an eye exam before then.
I'm off. Have a musical at dd's school tonight so not sure if I'll make it back here or not.

Re: Happy Birthday Thursday
I am in lazy mode and need to get with it. Dd2 and the little girls went to the zoo to meet dgs8 and his class. They are on an all day field trip. She is just staying until lunch and then she invited me out to lunch. By then it will be too hot for the girls. Yesterday it hit the low 90's. I had the air conditioner serviced last week, so I had to break down yesterday and run it.
Guess I better get started..........

Re: Happy Birthday Thursday
Happy birthday Sadie! Hope your day is blessed and you have a great year too!
42*-62* is our temp. range here today and the forecast is rain.
I'm up had a cold muffin for breakfast no butter today. H. is up and out the door on a job search. What he did yesterday was not for pay. =( Sigh oh well he learned some stuff and got to hang out w/ dson and was out of my hair for half a day any way. More free time for me today so far no granny duty.
I need to think about laundry and may sorting a small box in the craft zone down stairs I found yesterday.

Oh, Indiana, what a great report from dgneice5 and friend, and fun to think about the new treats he will have! I am always overjoyed for DangerBoy when he is gets more of the help he needs with partial hearing loss, but everything for him is removable/exterior right now. He has a great attitude about them - he chooses the colors and chose RED at one point
and called them his spider-man ears!
Oh, ((LisaB)), food poisoning is so hard, and so much more common than people think.
Emptynester reminds me of something to tell in Arts, Crafts, Needlework, too.
We hit 90 degrees one month early here, Lilac. It's hard on us all, for sure, isn't it? Here, dstepson will come by this evening to help design/build some extra shade for the hens - they suffer so in heat.
Dd13 was up late and up early with math. Her daddy certainly is learning a lot trying to keep being helpful to her! She found Around the World in Eighty Days for $2.50 in paperback and went ahead and bought it for her last AR book, for times she doesn't want to carry the Kindle.

Re: Happy Birthday Thursday
Last week we received papers in the mail from the title company to look over. Yesterday I called them with 2 questions. They were about things they needed. It wasn't clear as mud if they were in charge of that or we were. Turns out they are in charge. She said all we have to do is show up at the closing. She looked again and they aren't doing the title work on the sale of our buyers property. There is another title company in town, so I hope he is using that and doing this right, so that there are no delays.
Dd2 just called and dgd2 is wore out from the zoo and just wants to go home for a nap. So I better eat my lunch and run errands.
