Feel better wishes to Twins' Mom's dd.
((Nancy)), ouch.
OKay, it is good to have a dog, especially out in the country. It would be nice to teach them enough English to understand, "please don't insult great-aunt Helen", but you can't have everything.
All best wishes to the DeeClutters for a good hospital stay and ordinary-ness.
Patient Waiting wishes to the OKays for a calm day.
Sadie, the Carolinas are generally overcast with spring temperatures today, a pleasant break from the recent August which confused so much! LOL! So your ds might get caught in a spring shower but probably won't be too hot or uncomfortable. Hope he has a nice trip.
I am frustrated with myself now, lucylee, that I didn't share your question with HRH, too. I thought maybe it was an easy fix. I will pass it by him when he gets home including the gaming concerns, which he will think are very serious, I assure you.
(I do NOT get the fascination with gaming, but he does.)
A cheerful title for the day. My morning was not cheerful (about which I will now hush and move to J and C), but, hey, maybe the rest of the day holds cheery promise!
Both dmils have called with such nice things to say about the photo-album type Mother's Day cards. So that makes me happy that I did that for them this year.

Taking a break, since I worked through the 25 minute alarm. Had to reset modem since we had a brief power outage.
I know it makes sense that I do a lot of decluttering but my imaginative ADD gene keeps kicking in with suggestions of what I could do "someday" with stuff. I need to let it bless someone else's houses, tho.
DD is still sleeping but isn't running a fever.

Good morning! I survived the weekend. I wonder when I will get to thrive and not just survive? Friday I picked up DD10, bought a gift and a toy for her, and took her to a movie. We were supposed to meet friends there, but I went to the wrong theatre. Still enjoyed the movie. Saturday, DD and I met friends for lunch (and forgot coupon, darnit), then went to an amusement park, then a birthday party. I had two late nights in a row and woke up tired Sunday, but went to church anyway. After that I took a nap! Then, I held an adoption clinic at a cat show. I ended up eating dinner alone at Cracker Barrel on Mothers Day, in fact DD was with XDH the whole day. When I came home, I did cleanup and Quicken update. I found I had $1.08 in my account and transferred some money fast! Today is shopping and errand day. I need to get a long black skirt for the cruise, and antenna for my XM radio, and groceries. It is especially important to remember light bulbs! I have to replace at least four. When I get home I have to clean up a spill of dry cereal. It happened on the way out the door. I hope the cat with the sensitive stomach does not eat it. At some time I have to return the foster cat Mona Lisa and get another foster cat.

Twins, did you get the window situation figured out at the new house? Did DSon clean out his room because of the upcoming move? That would help you a lot, I'm thinking. Hope DD is feeling better.
Sadie, DSon's vacation in NC, wow sounds so nice, I so wish I could get up into the mountains for a bit. 3 replaced toilets at once, that's wonderful!
Nancy, ice that sprained ankle and elevate to reduce swelling. Ouch!
Lucylee, we use Malwarebytes (successfully). AOL softwear is bloated imo. We no longer have the complete softwear installed here, we just go to aol . com and click on mail to get DH's mail. He also won't change.

He sets their page as his homepage, and we don't need all the extras that used to be with their disc version. Oh, the old days of dial-up!
Catching up a day late: I heard the Golden Rule a lot growing up, I guess from DMom. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Also,
Stand Up Straight!! Which now is semi-impossible with osteoporosis and a bit of a curve to the top of my back.
Running around like crazy this AM. Took ant spray to jobsite, the rain brought them all out plus amonia for those bitten, and a stop at H D for lumber they needed, big huge heavy pieces for me to load. Then 3 banks on the way back to pay mortgage, put rent cash in and deposit a business check. Back home I ate breakfast, hung up beach towel load I'd started, had coffee. Filled ice containers for freezer. DH has a new helper on job. I didn't understand his hiring a woman, but did upon meeting her. Definitely not a girly type, iykwIm.

Harmony, partly because of the move and partly because of all the stuff he brought home from school that he's storing in his room, including the big gaming computer that he built.
And yes, we ended up replacing the windows across the back so they didn't feel so fussy. Doesn't seem like it held things up much, because they were doing wiring and plumbing while thet waited for windows. Dh was fit to be tied because they made it seem like a very, very big deal, and for the doors, at least, it's only changing out the insert.
I got dd up and had her drink a little water; worrying she's dehydrated. She went right back to sleep.
Should I declutter:
-"ring pillow" for cousin's wedding in which ds was the ring bearer?
-baby china given as baby gifts (not really pretty imho?)
-oddles of sewing thread, and the rack that holds them? (It's been years since I've sewed regularly, and I'd probably just go buy thread to match if I do sew again?)
-ds' cap and gown from HS graduation? (I suspect it would work for a Halloween or Hogwart party?)
I think in my head that I'm getting better with the decluttering stuff, then I start second guessing myself.

Hooray!!! Found my lost wallet and keys. Since I don't carry a purse - this is all I carry. I had taken them out of pockets and put them on the floor beside the closet. When moving the shelving unit out of the closet, a pair of DH's shoes landed on top of the wallet.
Now I can go to Dr. as I have my health cards.
Also updated blog with pictures of before, during and after of the dresser refinishing project.
We are off to PT and then our yearly checkups and script appointment. We won't be back until late this afternoon.

Yesterday I was thinking there should be more lawn chairs today I found them and they have been washed now too.
Up stairs trash and yard waste has been rounded up and in the garbage can for pick up tomorrow. Dgd "helped" me with some of it.
Our bed is made.
Drive way has been swept.
Journal x
dgd is here now.
I need to pay some more attn. to the kitchen.
Kitchen is officially spiffed now.
Muffins are done.
I think dgd needs a power nap.
I finally thought of mom's best advice; q. from yesterday~ "Stay out of debt & save for the future." For us any way that was way easier said than done

Going to give myself a power nap. Was not a good night for sleep last night.

Twins - YES to all items. Take a picture of the item if you want to remember the occasion then let them gooooooooooooooo

I immediately put decluttered items in large trash bag so I don't see them again. I have a NO peeking rule about what is in those black bags. Those bag/s just get dropped off at the GW site when we are in town. Otherwise, I will agonize over each item and start second guessing whether I should give it away to a stranger....or find someone I know that could use it....or find a use for it some day in the future.
I have been up and going for 9 hours and have spent 68 minutes on the internet. 39 of those 68 minutes was spent here.

Interesting! I thought I spent more time on FB.

Twins, I would have difficulties with that list too. Ring Pillow: does cousin want it for her memories? If not, thrift store. Baby china: give to charity. Thread: how old is the thread. Old thread on wood spools has been absorbing acid from the wood for years and no longer strong, though the spools are antique and collectible; I'd give wood spools and rack to thrift. Some sewer will love. Cap & gown: not suitable for bathrobe? Probably not, out to thrift. Someone will use as costume!
I only ever gave away 1 thing I wish I had now. 2 baptism/dedication dresses for DDs. They went to another mother. My only regret.
AK I'm stuck here. Leaving now.
