Was in bed maybe 30 minutes when doorbell rang. I think they've done everything that needed to be done on the house now. DD got up and had breakfast and went back upstairs and seemed okay. I need to get rolling, I guess. I'm having an iced coffee hoping it works wonders!

-clear & wipe down kitchen counters
-empty dishwasher
-straighten great room
-call the company who did our cabinets about a bathroom mirror and laundry room cabinetry
-meds + vitamins, me and ddogs

Quick post (I hope!)

Didn't have to be anywhere today so stayed in bed until 9.

No internet when we got up.

It is now up and down spuradically but we've managed to proof to our provider that it isn't us, or our modem from them but the whole neighbourhood going up and down.

In the meantime, because we don't have reliable internet, I have to go into town and get a wireless internet stick as backup for our internet.

I've donned apron today and have my (inner) maid clicking off cards. She seems to get things done (better than me) when I send an 'order'' her way.

Decided on bright green cards for dh -at least if he sees that color his eyes should be drawn to it. I'd like to find an over-the-door bulletin/white board to tape them to or I can use push pins. I'd hang it on the bathroom door. Wa;;s & doors in an RV -even a park model- are too thin to be hangine a lot of stuff. I do have some pictures hung to make it "homier".

Indiana, do stay healthy today but don't overdo in trying to stay that way.

Done with that round. Dneighbor came over to tell me that we appeared to have a leak in our water in the front yard. He turned it off, and I determined the line for the sprinkler was the one with the leak and called the builder. There's a guy in the front yard digging it up now....

This round:
-work on a li&t for rest of day and update RTM
-sweep up dust and dog fur and vacuum great room rug
-make the bed
-do a 15 minute put away round in MBR (I still have stuff w/o homes everywhere)
-pack up the printer that has to be returned

Rats. Just realized that kitchen hardwood floor got scratched when they pushed the stove in. It's been sitting out too far since it was installed and for some reason they weren't able to get it into place. Now it's in place with a scratch on the floor. Am texting the builder back...

Busy day here this morn. It's not as cool as I had hoped. Wanted to clean out the camper.
Found h.'s over night bathroom bag so that was good. He's on call so watering is a good thing after I mowed.

For our ann. later in the mo. he got room for us for 2 nights not just one I"m concerned about my garden sigh so will have to come up with something 2-hose dripping a bit and milk gallons with hole for other spots.

B.S. was up the last two days so am going to be taking a walk or something.
11 puppets finished now I like having these small projects to work on.

Harmony, I have noticed that the older I get, the slower I get. Especially when cleaning, but I even seem to read slower.

Feels like Grand Central Station here today. The guy is done taking care of the water leak. There was water bubbling up from the ground and running down the street so I'm so glad the neighbor noticed it. The water was left off for now and he will turn it back on later and adjust our sprinkler schedule. Dkids are heading out to p/u fast food lunch for all three of us. The guy for the bathroom mirror and closet, etc. was passing through this area, and called to see if he could stop by and talk to me now, so he's been here too. Texted the builder and asked if he could bring up touch up pen by before dh notices the scratch. On the walk through, dh was pointing out every little scratch and ding on the floors, so I know the builder remembers what a pain he can be!

I called and made an appt for dd with dermatologist; she has periodically had warts taken off her knee but the warts have exploded down her leg this summer, probably from shaving nicks. Ds wants a dr appt before he goes back to school also; tried to call and they were at lunch.

I've swept only partially and need to the rest of that li&t after I eat lunch.

Tried that, Indiana -just now but nothing happened. Actually the 'load' button is not 'dark' like preview or submit. Is there another step?

Edit: For some reason when I went back to post there it was at the top. But I have no idea what I did.

Hoping (((Twins DD))) that when dd sees 'old' home emptied out that it will no longer be a home. Home is where the people you love and the things that surround them reside. I hope I have that right.

DH is in relaxing for a few before going out to reattach the lattice around the deck. Good that he's getting that done this morning -90 today & 94 tomorrow. Our air isn't great either, Indiana. Will close the door shortly & turn on the air.

DD is focusing on getting things done in her MH today so it's clean/clean when gd14 returns tomorrow. She also plans to have gd's things pretty well packed so she isn't pulling things out all over. DD really hates the thought of returning 'home'. After all these years she still misses here (people mostly) a lot.

Dr. called Wed. night -it was actually his first day back- wanted to touch base with us while filling out dh's disability insurance papers and a letter to dh's dboss so he can return to work. At least, hopefully, we will be past all this 90 degree weather. Funny thing is dh is to work Monday and Tuesday he's taking off to go to the Empire State Farm show. And dboss is having shoulder surgery on Tuesday. This shoulder was injured last fall when a truck hit him headon down the road in Sept.
