My day is off to a late start. I was up to use the bathroom at my usual wakeup time. BUT I went back to bed and slept another 1 hr. 45 min. I knew dh staying home today would foul me up. His take was that I must have needed that sleep. So I was an hour and 45 minutes later starting my walk, but I did it. I am hoping to be able to continue this even when the weather gets colder. When it gets light later, then I will just walk later.
Guess I better get something ironed to wear, shower, finish my list, eat lunch and go buy groceries.
Tonight is the high school football scrimmage. Dd2 and I are on the fence about going, but I imagine we will.
I can see the light at the end of the Living Room Cleanse project. Only about another dozen items to make decisions about. ***PHEW**** decision making is exhausting. How can making the decisions (mental) be more taxing than the actual follow through (physical) part? I'm ready to wrap this project up.
Although I'm tired of so many hours & effort being focused on this project....I am so very thankful to have it accomplished.
last night LO told me before he fell asleep "The living room is all shining clean"
This morning LO said "I like our big living room" Of course it is the same size before the cleanse project.....it just seems bigger because of the STUFF is gone
I apologized to DH for tearing the house up and not having meals served as normal. He told me it was worth the effort and that I have done a great job. I told him to prepare himself because next week I would be starting on another area.
Toying with the idea of using phone and going mobile hot spots for the net here.
Sigh but I just do not remember to take the p/c w/ me when I leave the house! LOL!

Last night when Mr. Guy and I turned in I began thinking of Indiana and Jake and I started to laugh. MG asked what I was laughing at and I told him the story of Jake "turning down" Indiana's bed for her and tossing pillows on the floor. I have grown to love that little guy and I hope wherever he goes he will have a happy rest of his life. I know we are all thinking of him.
Sherinjoy - how 'bout those Giants? I am sooooo happy for them - now 3 games up on the Dodgers. I love it! Barry did so well last night, very unhappy to have to leave the game, but he did good.
Happy weekend all!

Hi Ladies
Well 7.1 seems to be getting better each day, looks like we will be getting on the school bus Monday morning, right now she is doing some classwork that was sent home.
I am waiting for my 2 pans of cinnamon rolls to finish the final rise, and the 2 breakfast cassseroles to come out of the oven. Have been busy since Wednesday nite after shopping doing some Monthly cooking, when all is said and done Sunday afternoon I hope to have 20 dinners and 4 breakfast items completed, and if I am super good and not exhausted will make some cookie dough to freeze also. These meals will be for the days we have soccer, or school activities, bowling and such, I hope to have one more marathon cooking weekend as the Holidays approach
That is how I have been faring. Continued prayers and hugs as you all continue to remember and grieve the loss of your dear friend Indiana.

I could have noted that dh cleaned up the kitchen last night, but that I finished it this morning. He doesn't realize what else is supposed to be done to finish the job.
I've been nonproductive today - partly because of being on the run so much yesterday, and also because of the hot water heater guy in the garage - he's had water off, then had be turning faucets on to get air out of pipes, then retesting water flow. I hope he has it fixed!
I also napped bit. I have a headache going - a not uncommon occurrence for me.
Need to work some rounds. I think dh is convinced that I eat bon bons and watch TV every day I'm not at work. Lunch first, then....
-make the bed
-start a lol
-straighten up Master BR
-make a DPC
-water plants in back of the house
Does anyone have a homemade remedy for getting rid of flies once they're in the house? We leave our back door open to get ddogs come and go - certainly no more than we did in the old house when the door opened into the garage - but I bet we get two or three flies inside every day. I really don't care to hunt them down and smash them....

Laughing out loud at that one. My DH asked why - but he didn't find it as funny as I did.
I laughed out loud at that but didn't bother to share it with my dh!!!!
I rested for an hour, then had lunch. Phone rang and it was ds so we talked for a bit and now I'm ready for a proper nap so will go upstairs. Dh isn't at his desk, so I'll assume he's out sunning and I'll need to close up the doors before going upstairs (but leave the deck door unlocked so he can get in.)
Twin's - you can hang baggies of water in the sun and it discourages flies from being about. Is there a place you could hang them by the door (maybe off the eaves?)
