I showered last night to make this morning a bit easier. Slept fine until 5 but was awake from then on although I stayed in bed until 7. Got up made the bed, laid out my clothes, did most of the ironing (because I needed the iron for my top), rested for 50 minutes, and then got dressed, put on makeup and straightened my hair. I think my hair is dramatically more grey than it was a month ago but that's to be expected.

I've had my cereal and will get a snack ready for myself and then lie down until it is time to leave for my meeting in the city. Not sure how today will go. I'm really nervous I will get sick while at Presbytery.

Praying for you (((dKathryn))) that you'll soon be the old "you" again. But as long as 'this' has held on it's obviously a long process.

I'm eating breakfast after getting dgs's & getting through the s2s process. At least it's steps in the right direction.

Hi Ladies
Have had a busy 2 days, Sunday we were at a dear friends house for swimning and bbq, unfortunately the skies opened and spent most of the day inside.
Then yesterday had to have a blood draw and some other tests done so spent alot of time at hospital, everything is fine just some yearly tests
Today I need to play catchup It is forcasted that we could see alot of rain from the remnants of Isaac later this week, so I am hoping to get alot of outdoor work completed.
My plate is full with a ton of stuff to do, but I am just not ready to attack it, maybe I will nibble

Think yesterday must have been 'our' day. Just checked our take 5 (free plays) from last night -one is a new free play and the other gave us $22.50. So all in all yesterday I guess we've reached our 'quota' of 'windfalls' for a little bit. Dh usually picks up a few scratch offs each week -his one vice.

Need to pick a room and do some 'focus' work in it. Won't be the living room -at least until dgs starts school. He starts Sept. 5th. Think our other dgks start on Tuesday, the 4th. Some don't go back until the 6th.

DD said she found a 'solution' for dgd14's after-school -she's going home each day with her friend from school & dd will pick her up there. At least dd won't have to rush from school. GD has to be picked up by 3:30 or they start charging and dd doesn't get through with her school duties (usually bus/walker watch) until almost 3:30. This will be a good fit, I think, for gd14. It's almost 30 minutes from dd's to gd's school.

Hope the start of this school day is better for LO, Okay.

Trash is at the curb bs is good today 1st load of laundry is going so I'm off to a good start.
Today H. is slow for h. at work.
Thinking a rest day is in order for him as he went back to bed.
They have a big 24 hr. job tomorrow at work.

I would have loved to have all the stuff for the hen pen here but we were too bushed to get it last night will have to focus on one wall at a time I think and the wire will have to be last. Sigh
nest box might be today's project. I called dson so we could get what was needed from their porch. H. said he needs to go when they are there as he's not seen the remodel ds did for their bathroom.

A big change in routine is as bad as jet lag, Harriet. REST! Let yourself re-energize! I'm dragging too and have no iron clad reason.

DSisIL just called to let me know they'd be here on Friday, September 7th. That's DShelley's b'day so at least I'll be distracted.

Post and run. Dmom's dr appt was cancelled after I was already on the way to her house but I circled back home to take care of a few things.

At work I was already signed out until 12:30 or later and I'm waiting on a client for info anyway so I hate to sit there waiting. Here at home I need to send one more email, then I am treating myself to an hour of nap time with Harriet. I've been sleeping poorly.

I will do a grocery run after the nap and at least that's done.
