Back from taking LO to school. I called DH on the way to school (forgot to tell him something). DDIL called and visited while I was at school. DMom called on my way home. I am thankful for technology (phones) that make staying in touch with family easy.

back to those dratted papers..... I want them done and delivered this morning before moving on to something more pleasant.

We've decided to go visit friends in the hospital this morning. One is a very good df who is suffering from much the same as Indiana. Although this only started about a month ago and she's been in the hospital ever since with worsening congestive heart failure. She, too, is quite young (ish). Going to stop on the way in with all our 'pop-tabs' for Ronald McDonald House. Will be good to see Shar again. BBL

A quick hello - I don't think I got to PWYC at all yesterday - posted with the moderators but not here.

Rally is going well - today is last day and then tomorrow and Friday we travel quickly across IL and MO to our national Rally. You all know how crazy I get during that. Not a moment to myself.

Happy Birthday to HRH
For anyone who doesn't know why Harriet's DH is HRH. Sometimes DH's are called by different names than DH. (Cowinkie's Sweetie and Dove's Mr. Guy) Harriet asked her DH what he wanted to be called - and he answered His Royal Highness. Therefore, HRH.

Gotta run. On top of all of this, a couple wants to come look at our rig to see if they want to get a small MH.

Good morning, villagers ~
Happy Birthday to HRH.

Recycle bin is full, hooray!
Trash bin should also be full when it goes to the curb tonight.

I have an appointment at a local bank at 10 to be added to the Friends of Library accounts and do some other business. Funeral home visitation this evening for the sewing group member who died Sunday night. In between will be a desk day because we're back to summer temps again, and I don't want to have to take a 2nd shower in the middle of the day.

Must put dishes in to soak. BBL.

Back from the GP visit. I've been given the go-ahead to exercise cautiously. My argument was I'm exhausted anyway so if I'm exhausted after exercising gently, I'm no worse off but my body might be better off. I just needed to know for sure that gentle exercise wouldn't hurt the liver and she agreed so told me to start with 10 - 15 minutes and then maybe add another 10 - 15 minutes after my nap if I was feeling like it. I'm not allowed to push myself but basically, I can't. If I push myself, my body pushes back so I just move gently and concentrate on doing as much as I can without over doing it.

Hung up the laundry on the line when I got home and then opened the basement windows to air it some more since it is a dry and windy day. Perfect for laundry and house airing.

Now I'm going to finish my sudoku and then do some devotions or housework.

Had some devo. time. Then spent over an hour on the phone and writing emails working on details for moms group meeting tomorrow, particularly the child care issue. The child care coordinator is understandably quite unhappy. Me too; few of us were aware of the policy of 2 adults/room rather than 1 adult/1 (homeschooled) teen, and this is very last minute for us to become aware of it. The steering committee will cover child care holes tomorrow, but it would be good to find some adults to hire -- otherwise, we are going to be pulling heavily from the moms to fill in the holes on a weekly basis. Sorry -- probably TMI.

Feeling a little more settled after good talk with dfriend, also on the teaching team and a matron of sorts of the moms group.

I'm off to get my a.m. routine done - now that it is almost 11 a.m.

Ds called to check on me.

Whitepoint called to book our 2014. I had paid the deposit for 2013 and the system showed we were in a one bedroom for 2014 so I had asked for a call to correct that. Turns out, the system automatically booked us in the cabin we had used the most (#55) but that's been converted to a one bedroom as part of the renovation so won't do for us at all. Our reservation is now in the same 3 bedroom cabin we have for 2013.

I've handled email and now will get ready for the dentist.

Hello, everyone! I am determined to get back to posting. I usually cuop, compose answers in my head & then don't have time to actually post. Since my dmother has been in the hospital, my routines (such as they were) have been abandoned. That is NOT working for me! Time to get back on the wagon.

My dmother broke her hip on Aug. 17 & was sent by ambulance to a larger hospital for surgery & partial hip replacement. She came back to our local hospital on Aug. 21 & is still there. Her expected release is next Monday, Sept. 10. She is doing well, receiving physical therapy twice a day, and getting stronger every day. I've spent quite a bit of time with her as well as running errands. She is wearing civilian clothes as opposed to the dreaded hospital gown, so I've been bringing her outfits every few days. Her new hip is doing well, but the knee on that leg is not. Best case scenario, she would get a knee replacement, but I'm not sure that will happen. The other day she said, "I'm too old to be needing this many surgeries." I had to agree with her. Thanks to those who have asked about her. I really appreciate it. :D

OKay - I think you are tough, in a good way of course. ;) I hope you finish with all those lawyer papers soon!

Kathryn - I keep waiting to read that you are feeling great! You have had a rough few weeks. Isn't Whitepoint the resort that had the fire awhile back? I'm sure you are looking forward to going back there.

Helia - Hopefully the childcare issues can be resolved quickly. It does seem counterproductive to use the moms for childcare.

Twins' - Good luck with WW. I need to get serious about losing weight. Ahhh, massage! Enjoy! BTW, I loved the pics of your old house!

Dee - How is the 5x5 going? Glad your BS is good!

MT - Thanks for the explanation of how HRH got his handle. I could remember what it stands for, but wasn't sure how it came to be.

Waving to Lilac, Booksaver, Nancy & Scattered!

Happy Birthday, HRH!!

Well, aren't ya'll sweet! :D I got to show him the posts because he's here for today with dstepson who is "gifting" him with some yardwork help, and when dd arrives we're going to have Thai food and coconut cake! (Pud See Ew today for me, loooove it.) Yes, when we had the discussion about "Mr __________", which was fine for all who weren't using feminine first names as handles, I had asked if he'd answer to Mr. Harriet. He said go right ahead but he'd prefer the full title, His Royal Highness, Mr. Harriet. CEO and others on the very old boards used to refer to their family with odd names.

By 8 this morning, I had managed the school run, the Morning Daily Card, my ddad's breakfast, and outdoor chores. Since then, my efficiency has waned!

BookSaver, I'm so sorry to hear your sewing group lost a member.

Wow, helia, without teens helping in nurseries, many churches would have a problem getting enough help. It's been my experience that the teens are the ones with the energy to keep up with all the needs.

Kathryn, I like the short rounds of exercise idea. So glad she feels you're ready to start back to more activity.

Emptynester, Rally safely!

Dee, I am nowhere near having Christmas gift decisions.

Oh, there is Kally! Delighted to have an update about your dmother. I know she is looking forward to release.
