Hummmm. I'm kind of restarting my day now. Ddog woke me up very early and I slept poorly after that, then was up at 5:30 anyway. I went back to bed around 8 and just got back up. I need to make a client phone call but forgot to bring the info regarding the amounts that they need to be depositing today. I need to call the office and get that info and try to call the gal. (However, I bet she doesn't answer - and earlier in the week her phone mailbox was full!)

First to get that squared away....

DPC = Dreaded Phone Call. I just hate phone calls so they're all DPCs to me. LOL!

I have just put socks on for the first time in. . . months. Well, I do wear socks when I'm jogging, true. The first time in months for everyday wear.

I'm now having second thoughts about jogging outside this afternoon. It may clear so then it would be OK; however, it was more than a drizzle earlier this a.m. Maybe it is time to check on my gym membership. I think it needs to be renewed anyway.

Back from errands. Weight was up but I switched to fall clothes for weighing, so that was expected. Jeans instead of capris, etc. I also ate a lot over the weekend. I'm feeling more motivated to lose these few pesky pounds before the Detroit race next month. I'm now boiling some eggs.

I like your style too, MT.

Off to finish the a.m. routine. And get another cup of tea.

Nice to see you blessed! Hope you're having a nice day too.

All taken care of for client - actually left a voice mail for her, then needed to call back so I got to speak with her.

Helia's mention of Tar-jay also reminded me that I wanted to order more of the baskets I'm using for the nook shelves, and also some for the laundry room. I looked at the Target here yesterday when I picked up dog food, but they were out.

Now....where do I head with my day? Lose, off.the.top.of.my.head PODA:
-a.m. routine and dailies
-get shelves in "nook" adjusted and filled up and laundry room stuff sorted and off kitchen table
-make challah and Shabbat dinner for tonight for me and dh
-get groceries to do some Rosh Hashana baking for the reception after service on Sunday night
-work on my Rosh Hashana address from the pulpit for Monday am service

Ds left just over 30 minutes ago. Going through at 2:30 instead of 3 should give him a head start on rush hour in Toronto. I usually just take the toll road around the city so don't fight traffic, but the toll is $30 (yes, $30 for about 50 miles) so ds can't afford it. When we were in the US NE, we were struck by how low the tolls were compared to Ontario.

I got the upstairs vacuumed while he was showering. I did that so he could carry the vacuum up to me and then take it to the basement so I can get at that later today or tomorrow. I made up hard boiled eggs and he made bacon and so he had a good breakfast of grapes, eggs and bacon before leaving. He'll be back around 3 on Sunday and sleeping overnight. Dinner was already planned to be something we could invite him to, so that's great. He's asked that I share the meal plan google calendar with him so he knows which nights to ask to come out for dinner!

I still have to s2s (it is a long shower day for me today) so need to go do that now that I've finished my breakfast.

Okay, a round of five....
-straighten up great room

-finish sweeping floors - I started this during a phone call earlier
-figure out supper tonight

I've showered and dressed. Still have to dry & style hair but it is warm enough in the house that I'll let it air dry. I cleaned the bath tub while I was in it.

I'm starting to wane a bit, so will rest of a bit now and watch an episode of Monk.

Good Morning, Gals! :D

My 5 x 5's for Conga Friday are~

- to dust
- to write 2 letters I owe
- to scrub 3 toilets (we have a guest/main bathroom, master bathroom and teeny-weeny powder room)
- to wash the main/guest bathroom mirror from streaks of water/toothpaste. I feel how I should have done this SOONER! Our grandson left Aug. 25 and the mirror's been a mess all that time! :!:
- to work on my paperwork project

I'd LOVE to be able to Conga and do~

- clean 3 bathrooms
- dust mop the house, sweep
- tidy the bed up better than we did this a.m.
- clean the kitchen counters
- sweep around the scratching post where kitty pulls out fibers from
- sweep the utility room
- water a plant
- tidy the walk-in closet

I'll do what I can and will report later, after I've gotten my coffee, have warmed up and moved around a bit more. I, too, had to get sweat pants and a sweat shirt on and I'm still cold. It's sunny, but cool and will be 78* later today.
