Happy Anniversary, Sadie.

We are on the road to Kansas. We home to miss a lot of traffic by going around Kansas City on the south.

Will post when we are set up if we have internet.

Good morning/afternoon, all!!!

We slept late & skipped church this morning, b/c it was close to 2:00 a.m. when we got home. (Sher -- we weren't at the Braves game. Actually, the only thing that trumps Braves baseball around here is Auburn football -- so we were at the AU/LSU game. AU football just about trumps EVERYTHING in the world around here, to tell the truth. And btw, I was wondering where your dh played, Ivy. We had a pretty good time -- we really, really expected to get embarrassed -- after all, LSU is #2 in the nation and we are # nothing... and we've already lost our first two games and our first victory was against a sorta lower-level team... but the score yesterday was 12-10 and * sheesh * WE gave them the 2 points w/a safety early in the game. * sigh * DH & DS aren't much on "moral victories" but we didn't feel too bad afterwards.)

SInce awaking, I have s2s, colored my hair, and eaten lunch.

I've got a LOT to do today but I'm going to read the Sunday papers first.

Keeping you in my heart & in my prayers, OKay... (((BIG HUGS)))

Happy WM anniversary, Sadie!

Have safe & happy travel, MT!

Waving to BookSaver... Dee... Nancy... Twins... Lynlee -- so neat to think how you are gearing up for hot weather just as we're beginning to talk about the cooler temps finally arriving... :)

Ohhh... btw... I was relieved to see that you two don't consider me to be TOO obsessed re: ds, helia & Kathryn... at least no more obsessed than I am regarding anything else... LOL... ;)
And WTG to YOUR ds, Kathryn, on the half-marathon!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

(((Group Hugs)))) Thank you for your encouragement and support!

I am waiting for a few pictures to upload before putting LO down for a nap. We had a colt training class before church this morning and afterwards a boy got his first horse ride of his life. i heard his parents say how sad they were to not have their camera with them so I grabbed mine and took several pictures of their son on horseback. I know they are anxious to receive the pictures so want to get them emailed as soon as I got home.

MPB broke while we were at church. DH is working on it now.

Good Morning to all of you lady villagers! :D

It's sunny here, will be around 70* and it's DH's pro-football Sunday. His neighbor friend called to ask him to rush up to his house to help with something he needed help with, but DH didn't know what it was. Just said it took 2 people. Later--- DH's and his friend had to lift the front part of a pick-up off a truck. His friend restores cars and trucks. Yes, it was a 2-man job.

My PODA:
- wash DH's jeans and do laundry
- write
- write some letters to friends
- dump trash
- read

Ta Da so far:

- emptied the DW
- showered, etc...
- had breakfast, etc...
- put DH's dry coffee and hot chocolate in a cup, while he was in the shower, so he could fix his coffee when he got out

We stayed up until midnight watching SNL and I slept in until 9 a.m. I feel so slow and lazy today.

Happy Sunny Sunday! :D

Hello to everyone! (Too late for good morning in my time zone.... ) I think we had some scattered frost last night, but it is indeed a Sunny Sunday & warming up. Looks to be a fantastic day.

I've probably written this before, but I really need to get back to some sort of routine. Most of my time has been spent with DMother at her assisted living. She is getting really frustrated with not being able to get up and walk on her own, so my dsis & I are trying to "be her legs" as it were. I'm not sure how my house gets so bad with me being gone much of the time. I suspect the lack of routine and maintenance have something to do with it. Ya think????

lucylee, I noticed last night that your team came close yesterday! Maybe there are better things to come??? We are celebrating in this part of KS because Kansas State University beat Oklahoma, IN NORMAN, for the first time since 1997 or something. No one expected that. I'm sure my dnephew/25 (a KSU alum) is over the moon! I always check the scores, which is why I know about AU, but I don't watch the games. Guess you would call me a casual fan, at best.

Enjoy your stay in my state, MT! It has been my experience that traffic in and around KC is very manageable on Sunday. The Chiefs are out of town today, I believe, so you should have an easy time of it.

Happy WM anniversary, Sadie!

Dee, "puttering" was a word that my ddad used, so I would always smile when I read it in one of dindiana's posts. So glad to see you using it also.

OKay, you, your family and LO are in my prayers for the best possible outcome for all concerned. Big, big ((((hugs)))) for all of you.

Waving to everyone, have a great day!

ERGH!!! I had a long post that I posted about an hour ago and now I come back and it is gone!!! What Happened?

I have a lot to do today and haven't had time to cuop, sorry. BFF is freaking out about the card system... I told her to keep reading as it will make sense. Added up the number of sheets that I will need to make the bare minimum of cards for DP and I and it was exactly 50. The pack of card stock that I picked up last night has 50 sheets... to close for my liking, but I found a pack of white card stock so now I have plenty. ;)

Need to strip my bed and do about 15 minutes in my room, think I'm going to find my timer.

ToDo/TaDa

Where is everyone? BFF sent me a text saying that she wasn't scared of the card system... no but obviously she is scared of posting!

Got the bed stripped but was waiting for DS19 to get here to help, he just walked in exhausted after an 8 hr shift... I'll give him till after dinner and then get him to help.

Time to fold an lol then get dinner done.

Quiet afternoon in the village!

We got there and had late lunch with dd, got her new cell phone activated and visited a bit and got back home. I took a short nap when we got home after doing all the driving.

I need to do some clean up for the cleaning lady for tomorrow, but I'm still procrastinating.

scattered, you're doing great! I'm usually here on Sunday afternoons working along too.
