Yesterday I dropped off a bag full of old towels when I picked up the ddogs Heartguard at the vet. They have a sign saying they are always in need of old towels and blankets for their kennels.

dtwins what a really nice way to help the animals at the hospital! Really a wonderful thing you did by donating those towels!

bw2, would have been even better if I could have taken them to a shelter, but at least the vet's office can use them. I've gotten better about not waiting for the perfect place to drop them off.

I DO think that's great! d twins. I think getting the stuff out of the house and if it blesses someone, whom ever it is and where ever it is, it is a wonderful thing.

hi, I went through music (that built up and scattered) and dejunked and organized it - so piano is with piano, guitar is with guitar, etc.

dejunking can be fun

I tried to bear that in mind while half-under dd14's bed today on my tummy! Tobias helped. I did grab him a couple times instead of what I was reaching for. Found the other half of a pair of boots dd replaced because she couldn't find it. Hmmm..... Found the ruler I've been looking for. More, but let's not discuss it. She is terrible about the under-bed!

In fairness, she had a bed that was out in the middle of the room, very neat underneath, until her grandfather had to come here to live. Now she has a single bed against a wall and it's oh-so-easy to have things "travel" under there without being seen. She's gone from a walk-in closet to what is more the size of a coat-closet, too, and that takes its toll on the room.

Anyway, making a stab at "Wardrobe Week" as per HGP.

Got one leaky coffee pot out the door this week! Trash day tomorrow it's going going gone! I've been putting things on the utility trailer to be hauled off and I added to it today as well.

Took a couple of shelves and salvaged pot, and filter basket from dead coffee maker to the donation drop off place I go to on errand day this morning.
