dscattered good morning - have a wonderful day. I like a approx meal plan for me. I am flexible with it if life happens lol. It keeps me from guessing at the last minute and it helps me serve veggies rather than just one piece of the meal lol.
dsadie.. praying for your dsil and her dson (((())))
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Good morning to all! Up and about here - newspaper is read and ddogs walked. Our wild turkeys were out in the circle when we took the ddogs out this morning.

The party last night was fun - as an introvert showing up at a party not knowing many people is hard but there were a couple of neighbors there that I talked to. One gal's dh is in Germany for several weeks on business and I had an enjoyable time talking to her. We didn't dress for the "Nascar Redneck" bit but I did make the "Redneck wine glasses" with mason jars which were enjoyed.

Today I have to go to the installation of the other rabbi at 4 p.m. and dh and I will have leftover chili for supper. He is going to go to office supply store (for the printer cartridge after I bought the wrong one) and will buy ddog food also.

Need to work toward some routines today, and dh is nagging me about working on dd's room today.

-kitchen counters
-kitchen table
-reboot laundry
-empty the dishwasher
-straighten great room

The above post sat for awhile before I got it posted, so I'm already done there.

I am going to take my extra hour for today now, and close my eyes. Just took Aleve....

Cowinkie - Feel free, on a website I used to own/admin the ladies called the DW Agnes and so we had to come up with a name for the Washer & Dryer and after many suggestions we settled on Bert & Ernie

Twins - Feel better soon

Blessed - that was how I used to do it but lately it has been a hodge podge of whatever I figure out at the last minute which adds to my stress.

Nancy - thanks for the battery reminder!!!

Okay so I spent longer than expected on the flyers and that was just one store. Gonna swing a little out of my way coming home so I can stop at the store. Did end up getting 1.5 hampers unloaded although it ended up being a necessity since I couldn't find part of my uniform. Need to run make up my face and put the last bits on my uniform then it is out the door. Gonna swing by S tarbucks for my birthday cuppa on the way.

ToDo
:D Coffee
:D Flip lol and throw NWU in dryer to fluff
 D2s
:D :!: :D put away 1.5 hamper (well it is sorted on my bed ;) )
:D check store flyers
meal plan for week
 Head out to BMC
Groceries
Home
Fold LOL's
Clear off Bed
Dinner
Match socks
Bed NLT 2300!!!

See ya'll this evening!

My head is better. Dh went to take his computer to Best Buy to have them look at it. It's been flakey and working only off and on for awhile. I need to leave here at 3:15 or a little later for the event this afternoon, so I am going to get some more work done.

-15 minutes upstairs in dd's room
-15 minutes on DR table papers
-to the TOTH purging/wiping refrigerator
-while that working, I'm going to update the software on my iPhone.

Dh has the garage cleared out enough to get his car in. I don't know if I mentioned it, but on Halloween night someone came through our neighborhood taking stuff out of unlocked cars. He lost his workout backpack (smelly gym clothes!) and loose change from his car. My loose change was also gone. He's now pushing me about dd's room and also about the garage. On dd's room he threatens to go up and just pack stuff into garbage bags and put in our under the eaves storage upstairs - I don't consider that to be a valid solution. I told him I don't feel like I can even keep up with routine stuff right now.

It's been so long since the last gout attack that I'm very happy with HRH's long-term success with correct eating.

scattered, as soon as I got the girls back from SS I checked on my ddad and then went straight out to the healthy grocery for cherry products. Wrong time of year for fresh, but there I can find the 100 percent real not-from-concentrate juice, and some serious not-too-sweet preserves, too. oooo...wow are those preserves cherry, lol, and they contain big pieces of fruit ;) (that's a squinting face! ) HRH has been taking his cherry capsules since yesterday, but we find that any type of actual food made from cherries does seem to help even more. Wish they were in season, for sure. Is it your bday today?

I successfully explained to my ddad that his watch needed to be set back one hour. He says the other news of the day is that cigarettes can kill you, so Camel and Chesterfield will be in trouble. So I'm not sure of the year in which he awakened from a good nap, but the hour is right. He is disappointed to find that HRH is lying on the couch today. I certainly have competing under-the-weather menfolk right now.

Twins' Mom, why did you need an Aleve? (Oh, now I see your head has been hurting?) HRH took one for his pain. Aspirin does more harm than good with gout.

Well, tell Twins' Dad that stinky criminals get what they deserve. (frustrating to have to replace, though, plus the feeling of violation - sorry)

((Sadie and dh)) in concern for dsisil and dnephew.

Well rats, just lost a post by hitting something that erased it all. I wonder if Dee is in FL and settled yet?

Successful round altho this time need to start some dirty laundry from dd's room. Will work 30 minutes this time, then need to get ready to go out to event. I will reboot laundry, do some planning for this week, and then scan some items if I have time.

Harriet, I'm feeling sympathy and bad for your HRH! :( It hurts so much!

I've never had gout, but DH gets gout, too, has a medication on hand for it, and gets it across the top of his foot or in a big toe. Did you know that eating canned cherries once a day help keep gout away? DH's grandpa told us that and I've told others, too and it works. :D Oh! I just read further on your post that you know about cherries! :D Hope they'll work for him!

Scattered, It's GR8 that you're a nurse and have valuable tips and advice, too! :D Thanks for sharing with us.

Bert & Ernie is a cute name for a washer & dryer!

Twin's Mom, I hope your headache goes away, soon! :!: I'm terribly shocked that someone in your neighborhood is taking stuff out of unlocked cars! Grrrowl! :( I hate hearing that kind of stuff.

In our area, "rumor" is that some people are walking, like they're hiking around the area, they stop and bang on doors, to see if anybody's home, if nobody answers the door, they break in and load up their backpack. AND if you ARE home, they politely say, "Oh, I was looking for such-and-such an address. I'll go now." I guess it's quite a problem. Once, I was changing into my skirt, in our bedroom, I had the bay window bedroom blinds open, and here, nonchalantly comes this man, out of the woods, walking toward our home, me looking out at him, and I guess he saw me, because he high-tailed it back into the woods! I was furious because I'd thought he'd seen me climbing into my skirt! I went out to DH and told him, we looked and nobody was around by then. It's kind of strange that I was more concerned about being seen climbing into my skirt than I was a break-in, too! We lock doors to the house, too. We had an area thief who took loose change out of homes and they figured it was a teenager getting change for arcade games. Then, that stopped. It's such an irritation that people can't be safe like they were in the olden days, or so it seemed in the 1950's, etc..

I hope Dee's getting settled in there in FL, too. Hope they didn't run into problems driving, too.

Nancy, We reset clocks last night, except for 1 in the master bathroom on the counter. I looked at it and was shocked at the time!  But then looked at my watch and calmed down! ;)

Hi Cowninkie! :D You make me miss having a pet dog in the house, when you post you're feeding your dogs and wiped their prints. DH says no more dogs, but we have a cat. ♥ You're lucky you have dogs. :D

Blessed, The pot roast in the crock pot is so delicious that way! We've done that, too. Also, I have a BFF who does pulled pork with her crock pot. Ever done that? :?:

Kathryn, Are your planned power outages a community thing or just a Kathryn-household thing? :?: I can see why a family might want to do that on their own to conserve on the power bill. Are you doing it on your own or is it a community mandate of sorts?
