Have to LOL because that was what I did last week, although it was the Other Team that we "always" beat until last year.

Had a good walk w ddogs. An acquaintance, whom I know to be an investor in this development, was across the street showing his young daughter and her fiancee the floor plan, and they are apparently thinking of living here. He must have known already that we live here, 'cause he spoke to me as soon as I came out of the door with the ddogs, with a ratty sweater, slicked back hair, and ear band to keep ears warm.

Just realized I need to go on to vet and cleaners now....

Ergh, I am very frustrated with both of my older sons!!! DS20 has been placing orders on internet chats sites and now the CU has flagged his card for fraud. He did this 2 years ago with my card and ended up costing us several hundred dollars. I thought he learned his lesson then... I have now had a long chat with him again and he is on the phone with the CU to try and get it remedied. He has to cancel his card...   Then my DFs19 came over to the house while I was not here dumped clean clothes out of Ernie on to the floor which then allowed DCat3 to pee on it.   Per DS13, DFs19 thinks I am still mad at him and doesn't want to come over when I am home. I told DS13 to let his brother know that he needs to come over for family dinner not just to sneak in and use B&E.

Managed to get B&E kicked into gear and then had to fight with DS13's glasses to get the screw fixed. It has been a rather frustrating morning where my children are concerned.

LOL, Twins... I know you feel our pain.
The Other Team's fans here are actually wearing shirts that say "KEEP G... C..." (with our coach's name.) * sheesh *
That's pretty sad, isn't it, when the other team is wanting you to KEEP your losing coach...

Good Morning, Villagers! :D

What a wonderful start! Keep At It Saturday! ;)

I'm getting better and better at doing my laundry and writing short stories. I put a load of wash into Bert & Ernie, then go write, and when Bert & Ernie need to be fed again, I break from writing and take care of their needs, get laundry put away and these are the 2 main things I'm the best at right now. :D

I'm not so hot at keeping my dusting up, although I try to dust once a week and dust mop the floors. The toilets are a job that DH and I take turns at doing. DH does the DW most of the time and tends the fire. He also helps with laundry and he cooks dinner, but I plan it out and do sides. And get out the dishes, napkins, etc....

I guess it's a partnership at our house. He love-love-loves college football and watches a bit of pro-football, too, but he's occupied, is happy, is out of my hair and it gives me time to write. So it works for us. He's retired and I work part-time. It works for us, this way, too, because I'm not getting up to an alarm clock to get out of the door at 8 a.m. to go to an outside-the-home job. DH would hate that. He likes his "beauty sleep"! ;)

DH is going to strip the bed and after showers, I'll start the flannel sheets washing, need to sort laundry and I'll be up and down and at the laundry and writing all day. Will take 30 min. off to walk though. I can't forget THAT! :!:

Everybody, have a super day! Sorry I can't cuop like I "should" today, but I need to get back to work.

Ivy - I love that you also have a Bert & Ernie

Harriet - That works great for both of us, my main reason for opening the threads is that on work days (esp long ones) that is the only time I get to post.

Got the Turkey stripped... whew there was a lot more Turkey left then I thought. Thinking that I might make a family traditional dinner tomorrow (DS19 has to work tonight) DGma always use to make Turkey Curry !!!YUMMY!!! DS13 & my sheets are now in Bert, lol that DCat3 got to are now in Ernie... also linens. Need to tackle hamper on my next groove.

Lucylee - you are too funny.

So while contemplating my navel in the bathroom (yes that is where I do a lot of contemplating)I was looking back at what I had just accomplished and decided that I had not made a declutter sweep but just a tidy sweep through the MstrBR. Then I started contemplating what the definition of tidy actually is, so when I got back on the laptop I had to look it up and the definition is bring order to; arrange neatly, which is what I did since I was just putting things away that had been left out. Now I am seriously considering taking a nap.
