Scattered: thanks for the idea. He doesn't like apple juice but I could make a grape juice slushy.
He's being started on Prednizone and I picked up Tylenol with codeine for him (not T3, but T1, which is not prescription.) He'll move from advil back to tylenol because of the Prednizone. He's read over the drug warnings and I've passed along the other warnings from the pharmacist (to remain upright for at least 30 minutes after taking it.) The doctor also did a swab for strep but that takes 2 days to get results.
On the bright side, the doc noted to me that my liver enzymes are back to normal so she's been following the cc'd blood results and she passed a message along to dh. So she's on top of our family's care at the moment.
We picked up ice cream and peppers at the store. Plus chicken strips for me later in the week. He told me his favourite take-out soup and I'll get that for him when I'm out at lunch. Today is supposed to be my Sabbath so I'm going out for lunch after ds has his lunch and is dosed up.

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
I've done today's work out on the exercise bike mornings with that is my time line goal for the winter as we have cold weather heading our way by the end of the week. I have done morning stuff granny duty in a while. Have to pick up an Rx today it was $119 when I was first out of the hosp. about 4 yrs. ago and is up to $152
not good news seems to be going up each month now bummer! [This is long acting Lantis no generic available for insulin of fast or short acting and yes I've checked.]

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
Kathryn - Hope it helps. Your Sabbath? Is that because you are a minister?
Nancy - have you checked around to see if any of them are available as generics at certain Rx's generics are $4.
I got the recycled wax broken into sections that will fit in the pitcher I am using to melt/pour the wax. Cleaned 3 recycled candle jars and the large pot that I had used to try to clean them the first time.
Made a small jar candle and a wick for my DGma's Swan candle (she bought it from Avon 30+ yrs ago but still special to me). Have more wax melting in pitcher, I think I will melt enough down to fill it to the water line and then when I am ready to make more I will just put it in the pot to re-melt. When I am out tonight I am going to pick-up some muffin liners to use to portion the wax... may even use to make votives.
Need to get onto uploading, also need to get travel claim in so I can get paid.
ToDo's

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
Different day here. I'm still in PJs, currently camped out on the sofa trying to sip gatorade after a night of either stomach flu or food poisoning from the restaurant dh and I went to last night. Dh thinks the latter, although we shared everything; he even drank the remainder of my cup of coffee, and he is feeling fine. . . . . Not fun; I don't want to do that again anytime soon. The worst is over, however.
Unfortunately, I'm behind on things around the house and really need to do some work -- also need to go to the groc. store. I might try some toast and apple sauce in a bit, and if that stays down OK and seems to energize me a bit, I might head out and make my shopping trip short.
I don't really even have a timeline. I need to set a date for getting packages in the mail, however; that is usually the most significant deadline in our timeline. NOt sure when we're celebrating Sinter Klaas; ds is coming home on the 18th, and we've talked about putting out our shoes starting that night.
I think I'll shower and see how strong/weak I'm feeling. . . . .

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
((helia)) What did you eat prior to meeting dh? I hope you feel better soon.
((Kathryn's ds)) So glad he is under a doctor's careful eye. Wonderful to hear your blood test news, Kathryn.
((Twins' Mom)) I hope you find that your sister is settling into new surroundings well.
Wow, Nancy, that is a frustrating pharmacy bill.
Harmony, could you maybe transplant one from a convenient area to the outside so you could at least have that space for a comfortable "retreat" where you can rest as you move around. Plants aren't getting any smaller, I suppose. Do you need some stepping stones placed around?
OKay, my dear-aunt-of-the-daily-aprons carries a hoe to her mailbox, which she actually uses from time to time if she notices a weed. That gives her a support that she can use if needed, without considering it a "cane".
What a big project, blessed. How is your younger dd feeling today? (Realizing you might not see this question for a while).
Thanks for the rice-bag heat ideas yesterday for HRH.
Thank you to Dove and to Kathryn for timely thoughts re: Indiana's recipe website.
Kathryn, sherbet is what comes to mind for me for ds, frozen yogurt.

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
Morning y'all...
Okay, I'm laughing at your mom's comment to the walking stick. I've been suggesting a cane to my mom since her balance is so bad...and her comment was much like your mom's. However when she went to vote at her community's club house she wobbled so bad it embarrassed her because she thought people who didn't know her would think she was drunk.
Now she's telling me she wants to go back to PT so she can learn how to use a cane. This after 3 years of pleading to her to do this.
I have not Xmas plan or timeline. My Xmas is all but done. Celebrated early while my son was here during T-day. Been sending my mom stuff through catalog sites...books, candy and bulbs. I pay the catalogs' shipping, and they deliver. That sure takes the stress out of everything. I have a ham ready to deliver to my DB's family and a few other odds and ends to deal with, but I'll do that next week.
Today is my dr's appointment. Don't think much will be done except to order some tests. Other than that I need to finish my xmas tree decorations as well as a few things I want to do around the house. Norma and Mr. Guy came over Sat afternoon and we had a great visit..then we all went out to eat. I don't think Sweetie and Mr. Guy were ever quiet. Norma and I just laugh at them. More plans have been made. Its fun to have them back.
Temps are still in the low 80's. This Nov. was the 3rd hottest one one record and the way things are going I expect the same for this month....geesh, I hope I'm wrong. Yesterday broke a record for highest temp recorded and it is expected to happen again and tomorrow. Of course I have packed away all my warm clothes...so I am wearing the same short-sleeve t-shirts over and over again.
OK...off to feed doggies their mid snicky-snank. Then it's off to walk Willis. Cy'all later........

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
Hello ladies!
scattered--I like those Brits, too! We need some members here from the UK!
So far I have cleaned toilets, changed sheets, washed 1lol, and scrubbed kitchen sink. I thought the sink was clean, but a good scrubbing with Bon Ami really shined it up! (It's stainless steel.)
Going to paint a doorframe while the weather is warmish today. Also need to scrub a patch of green " mossiness" on siding.
This was to be errand day, but that can wait until tomorrow. This warm weather will be gone after today!

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
OKay - I actually learned it from Mother (who is also a nurse).
Elly - I just love listening to British reporters and how they pronounce some words like issue, probably why 2 of my favorite actors are Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart. Alright I have to share a funny side story with ya'll; when I was preggers with DS20 my Mother suggest Shawn Luke for a name (I couldn't come up with a boys name). I told her that even though I loved Star Trek - Next Gen I was not naming my child after it, to which she said "Shawn Luke not Jean Luke" I stated it was still too close. I ended up naming him Sean Patrick and giving him my maiden last name (he was born out of wedlock) not realizing that if he were to take his Father's last name his full name would then be Sean Patrick Stewart.
Thankfully he is now 20 and still uses my maiden last name.
Harriet - Glad HRH is feeling better.
Cowinkie - Glad you had fun Sunday, wish I lived closer to some Villagers.
WooHoo!!! Navy business is done! Also got to speak to BFF who is obviously still lurking here since she is keeping up with my trials & tribulations.
Did a little more with the candles, have one last votive jar to fill and then 3 larger ones. Need to get busy on the hotspot and review what I need for the final this after noon. I also want to get dinner going so we can eat before I go.

Re: TIMELINE TUESDAY
Hi everyone! All I did on the job hunt was upload a newer version of my resume to a website. I was just exhausted. I did do some clean up and did take care of the cats. Iris, the newest foster, practically lives in the sewing room closet. I also fixed my lunch for today. It was the last of the balsamic chicken. All I have left in the freezer that is cooked is Thanksgiving turkey and gravy. Guess I know what tomorrow's lunch will be! Guess we all know who needs to do some cooking. I was overstocked on food for a while, now I need to restock.
I will not be doing any cooking tonight because it is Girls' Night Out with DD10. Probably chinese food followed by Chuck E Cheese. Then, I need to finish putting away for the maids tomorrow and put the trash out. I need to get in earlier at payroll tomorrow because GUESS WHAT, I have a project to work on and will actually be PAID!!! I don't know how long the project will last, but this is a really good thing.
Back to my PAID work!
