My My Harriett, you HAVE been busy. Hopefully I am headed to an organized and serene house. Having said that, I have a longgggggg way to go. But noone ever got to where they want to be without a start, right?

((((((Twins))))))

Okay...Good Morning! Cinnamon rolls, YUMMMM!

Dee...I got my first episode of shingle when I was 24. That was 26 years ago (ssshhhhh). I have had probably a dozen or so outbreaks over those years. Fortunately, I only feel horrible for a day or two preceeding and a day or so after they appear. After that then its just a localized skin annoyance. A big annoyance, but at least its very localized. Makes sense now why my hip and back have been hurting so badly this week. And mine aren't widespread like I know alot of peoples are. So for that I am thankful. Being only day two right now, I am taking frequent breaks so as not to wear myself out and making things worse.

Kathryn...I hope you feel better

Scattered...oh you be quiet down there

A very happy New year to each and everyone of you.
Dh and I looked at the 2013 New York ball coming down and were in shock. We never thought when we were little that we could imagine the year 2013! As kids we heard of the end of the world in 2012 and that seemed so distant when we were 10 years young, but I guess I never thought of the world after that date. Actually it's really exciting!!! I am thinking of the possibilities!!! (such a SHE moment) lol

Happy New Year, All.

I stayed home alone last night (per my request) as I had a major migraine. I think it is gone this morning - but kinda sitting about a foot back of me ready to pounce again.

I have no idea what I am going to do this morning except I have to get Sunday's blog up.

DS-A had Shingles when he was 14, INE. And we thought only "old" people get them! HA! Couldn't imagine what he had till the Dr. took 1 look -that's all it took. I felt like I had a bad case of the flu for the first several days amidst all the pain. DH and DD were going to Ocala to visit friends. He kept asking me if I was sure I didn't want to go -with a temp of 103 and feeling like I could barely move -I don't think so!

Well, DD has finished vacuuming and mopping, relish trays are done, potatoes peeled, cookie trays ready and a few other things. I'm going to take care of the dishes in the drainer as soon as the floor dries. Then I need to wash my hair. Tomorrow I get a long-needed perm! YAY!

Looks like a nice day out here today. Kinda glad -that means we can use the back screened porch for people. Just going to serve dinner buffet style. Bought a spiral sliced honey ham. DD had the same brand at her dmil's last week and brought home leftovers. It was very good. DD doesn't like ham, pepperoni, etc if it's salty so this was pronounced good! She did tell her dmil if they wanted the southern tradition of black eyed peas they'd have to bring them as she has no idea how to cook them.

DSonil finally finished his project (which was actually for someone else) and all is good. DD did tell him that him telling her not to vacuum would have gone better had he changed the music a little.

A very blessed and happy new year to one and all!

Nancy...Hello!!!!

Books.....Hello to you also!!!!!

Blessed....The energy I have is definately forced, not natural. If I didn't force myself, nothing around here would get done. Ive also learned that if I dont set the pace, noone around here does anything either, lol. But Thank you.

Empty...Take it slow and easy today. Bounceback migraines asre even worse.

Dee....its definately not and 'old' persons disease. My dd first broke out with it when she was 6. She gets it around her waist on the right side. Worse than me, but she handles it like a pro now. She's almost 24. I also feel very fluish while its brewing to break out. I was rumming a low grade temp all day Sunday and yesterday feeling lime poo poo.

When I go upstairs I am going to attempt to wake DD. I have no idea when she got done with work last night. I do know that I was awake at 215 and she wasn't home yet. I want to see if her and Dfiance want to go out to dinner with us tonight.

I'm having lots of hot water now that I've finished my tea. I had real tea today in the hopes that the caffeine will do me some good.

First load of laundry is folded and the second needs to be attended to. I downloaded and printed off the daily bible reading plan from the Canadian Bible Society and I've finished my devotions for today (did 3, today's and two from November) and am now running the hot water pot through its cleaning mode since there's a lot of scale buildup on it.

Tuesday is my traditional Sabbath day so I don't have a lot of new chores to add to the ones I need to get done. I might spend some time putting away a box or two of Christmas. The stockings are irritating me so maybe I'll put away the things that bother me, not the things that give me a sense of peace. The house always looks so bare and cold after things are put away and I'm cold enough now without introducing a visual coldness as well.
