(((Twins)))) Hang in there!

LO has been going through a whiny time. "Let's find us an attitude of gratitude" has been an often repeated phrase here.

Good morning, villagers ~
I'm happy to have another day at home.
Yesterday turned into a correspondence day -- felt like everyone I know was sending me Email questions. Email is quicker than phone calls, but still ... I was able to do laundry, dishes, and cat care, but nothing else around the house.

Today I'm seeing a lot of things downstairs that need to go upstairs, things upstairs that need to go downstairs, and things on both floors that need to go sideways. ;) Hopefully if I keep moving, by the end of the day there will be some empty space.

Hi everybody!

Had my doctor appt this morning. He prescribed a cough syrup with codeine.

Went to Sprawl mart on the way home because it's just a bit more than a block away from the dr's office. I need a new battery for my car. (less than $100.) Dh will take car and battery to one of our mechanics to get it installed later today.

Hope everyone else that is feeling under the weather feels better soon.

Bookie, I was also thinking that it sounds like Harriet is in there with us and the moles.

AH! the sun is shining. We haven't seen it since last Thursday. It is still chilly here in the mid 30's but headed to 75 by the weekend. Yeah!!!

We had a brief sleet storm last night about 4 pm. Didn't last long either in falling down or staying around. But it sure brought back memories of cold and sleet from SD in my childhood.

Today is finish up the decorating as we are having company at 4pm. I am inviting friends over in small groups to see the house.

Yesterday one of the neighbors that I don't know very well, stopped by to see our counter tops. I had told his wife (in passing) about the new counters and she had sent him over.

Time to find some breakfast and then get going.

PS: Finally got my printer to behave itself. Took about 5 times to get the bad print job to cancel. But printed a couple of things yesterday and it works now. Thanks for the advice.

Vegetables chopped. Chicken diced. Broth added. Soup is simmering.

SNOW! It has been snowing big flakes for about 15 minutes now and the ground is starting to turn white. Temp is 35 degrees so most of it is melting.

Today I've done the a.m. chicken chores and the first session on my exercise bike 30 min. [ten mi.]

I'm frustrated with a bible search tool app. I loaded yesterday great radio but it will not work with my google chrome ack! Boo! Can't seem to get this tool bar off now. =( I do not recommend the one from bing.

Vacuumed the area rug in the living room last night so it looks good.

Kit. spiff & make bed next up.

Last evening (after eating a very light dinner) my tummy began to rebel again so I had a miserable evening feeling poorly (but not actually being sick.) Dh had lights out at 10 in case he was to be up all night with me again, and I listened to the news on the tv using an earphone and with our closet door shut so the light wouldn't disturb dh (our bedroom tv is on a shelf in the closet.) I fell asleep before the tv shut itself off and slept right through until 7 a.m. Dh woke up when I stirred and was very surprised it was 7 and not 4:30. He seldom allows himself 7 hours sleep, let alone 9.

I out of bed at 8 and have been upright ever since. Made the bed and tidied the room. S2S would be good but not just yet.

I had real tea for breakfast but only one cup. I also had a small serving of Rice Krispies with some milk. That isn't rebelling but I'm sipping on Dr. Pepper because my tummy doesn't feel quite right. Not hungry, just tensed.

I have an important Presbytery meeting tonight so am taking things easy today.

Dh and ds are going to a church Pancake supper. I'll either be at my meeting or home.
