Lynlee I told dh about the lifeguard tower and the river mouth.

Made phone calls. 1. Doctor (left message) 2. Physiotherapist (am in there tomorrow, can you tell what's covered under 'free' medical coverage and what isn't?!) 3. Dentist (dh made appointment for potential cavity and I moved my checkup because it conflicts with my liver specialist's appointment and I have to wait 6 months or more for those. Again can you tell what is covered under 'free' medical coverage and what one has to pay for on their own?!)

I really should head into the city now. I'm going to spend 30 minutes on paperwork first, though, in order to get a good list of what errands I need to run.

Well, Shucky darn. I've been caught in the credit card rip offs going on in AZ this winter.

Just had to shut down my cards because of fraudulent charges. One of the grocery stores and gas station chain have had numbers stolen. I just found a 247.00 charge that I didn't make.

Credit union was great - told me how to document and will send me new cards right away.

I called Direct TV (the only re-occurring charge) to put a note on my account that I will contact them with new number as soon as I get the new card.

OK - now on to the next crisis. - - - oh, goody - none on the horizon. (YET)

MT good catch on the credit card. Sorry that happened. We've had to cancel cards and get new ones twice in the past couple years.

Well, Kathryn, join the crowd with the thyroid stuff. People told me I'd feel better as soon as I started medicating. It took weeks to finally feel better. One friend says she can tell the same day if she forgets a dose, it's an immediate energy drainer for her. We are both on Armor.

I'm working my way down my stack of projects. 2 done so far. Back to it.

I've made several medical appts this morning. I was able to get LO dentist appt during during his spring break (week after next). Also did my cleaning appt and one to get a crown put on one of my teeth.

MT - good job of being proactive and catching the bogus CC charge.

Our neighbor/investment guy called yesterday to notify us that he is quitting being a broker and going full time as custom home developer. ***VBSigh*** So in the next few days, we have to decide on company and person to handle our investments. Or rather decide on a person and use whatever company they are working for. We don't have any idea who to get so we might open the yellow pages and use the pin the tail on the donkey method.

LO went to school this morning with no problems. YES!!!! I did talk to the teacher this morning to let her know that LO will be late coming to school tomorrow (counselor appt) and she thinks his school phobia/anxiety is coming from LO seeing classmate crying after being spanked. The teacher talked to LO about how well he obeys and complimented him.

OKay - ask former investment guy who he would recommend. Ask around - bank?, friends?, insurance people? especially tax guy? Anyone who would be knowledgeable about investments.

RE: credit cards
Many many of our friends have been scammed plus it seems to be on the Phoenix news daily. I'm pretty good about checking on our accounts at least once per week. I keep one CC for just online purchases and reoccurring charges - but, wouldn't you know, it expires this month and I haven't gotten the new one. I don't know why I put the TV on the one I use most of the time. Guess it was just handy when I needed to get it set up.

Time to jump in the shower. Been erasing footsteps in my jammies. TTFN

I've done morning stuff.
Now I need to get going on baby proofing the house another younger one 9 mo. will be here later on in the week if dgson is well enough to go back to school.
Trash is at the curb.
I just used up pc time looking for ideas aprons on pinterest for gathering eggs in.

MT...Join Norma and me with the CC's. We both use the same grocery store that was named in the news. Norma got hit first...after 3 weeks I figured I had missed the scam. Went to buy a Starbuck coffee at the grocery store and my card was declined. Drove straight to the bank. Ran into two of my neighbors who live very close to me...one's right across the street, the other is 3 houses away. Both had been hit and were at my bank doing the same thing.

Okay...I would agree with MT. My mom had been with the same finance guy for years and is a personal friend of hers. She's always worried that her guy will retire before she dies. Her guy told her not to worry, that if that time came he would provide her with the name of the next person she should use.

Same thing may happen to us. Sweetie has been with his guy for years and we too are friends. Recently I asked Sweetie's guy the same question. He said I'll give you the name of the guy I'M going to use. Works for me...you might do the same especially if you really trust your guy. That kind of change can be scary.

Walked 2 miles with doggies, off to climb a small mountain near my house. Signed up for a possible tough hike in 2 weeks, a place I've always wanted to get to so you might say I'm in training
