Done, was hoping that someone (INE?) would be working with me today.

Dh came in with groceries and those are put away also. While working, I updated the software on my iPhone, so that's done. Need to do iPad also. I'm opening up some windows today -its mostly sunny and 63 degrees out. The house is 68 but feeling stuffy.

Next round:
-Clear kitchen counter
-clear high breakfast counter
-make the bed
-find the file with our tax stuff, and the file already started for 2013
-find scissors that cut ( :? ) and trim the edge of the rug mat that is showing under the rug edges :?

Twins' Mom.... I'm definatley here with you and working on the house. Im not getting as far as I wanted to, but I AM getting things done, so I guess its better than nothing. Round Two kinda melded into Round Three. So having just had lunch, I moving onto round Four.

Dh is upstairs working in his office for the fday. He has a project starting tomorrow and needs to get everything ready to go.
DD, who was in the ER Friday for a chronic stomach issue, has just woken up. I am so angry at her boss right now. The girl was violently ill on Fridday, ill enough for a trip to the ER and he had her work 16 hrs yesterday. She is beyond tired right now and has a nasty chest cold. I also cant believe she is going into work for another 4 hours thru the dinner hour. Then having to get up for her primary job at 6am tomorrow. Good thing she is old enough to make her own decisions, cuz she wouldn't like mine right about now.

TADA'S for Today
up at a decent hour
clocks all changed for DST
breakfast
email and boards
coffeemaker redied for those still sleeping
meds
wake Dh
moving, but no shower until later he says get him moving and into shower
s2s
gather my laundry
have DH gather his and take it all downstairs
make bed and tidy bedroom
all laundry sorted and started
load one....done
load two....done
load three in washer
cleaned up the kitchen
redied the coffeemaker for morning
lasagna out of freezer and into oven
DD finally woke up and have made her breakfast
folded three loads of clothes

Round Four
wrap lasagna back up and into fridge
outside to CLEAN CAR, man oh man, does it need it.

Happy Birthday Mr. Okay!
We did not set our clocks ahead.
This morning H. got sucked in to Dowton Abby and is watching season #3. I've seen those but have not seen seasons 1 & 2 so will be looking for those not sure where yet.

I have laundry going, hemmed a sheet for the play pen. Made breakfast and cooked ahead turkey sausage for sandwiches or ? for later.

I cleaned the broody hen's nest box, the sister of this broody hen figured out how to climb in with her and has been adding eggs that I have to pull out and one was broken it was a mess so I cleaned it after chasing off the sister moved the eggs to the nest next and set the broody hen back on top and cleaned up the messy nest. I replaced the crate over her and covered it with a towel they like to use dark places I read some where. Still wondering how the sister managed to move the crate enough to wiggle in to that nest! So we will see how this works.

One hen was out on bug patrol in the front yard for a while. I have the tote cleaned up after the chicks used it will put feed sacks back in it.
The chicks are fine .

8-) Nice weather were having here.

Yesterday granny duty was all day so H. went to the antique gun & horn show w/out me. He came back and got me for dinner it was a nice treat we saw dson and his girls and one of their sisters at a cafe' where we had dinner last night so we sat together and had a nice time.

Afterwards we went to big lots first time we've been there.

While I'll agree that police at the ER isn't always good, there are times when they find someone who seems disoriented and take them to ds's hospital. Ds has had times when people who are from totalitarian countries and are afraid to talk to the police so appear unresponsive or worse but will talk to ds because he wears no uniform (no white coat or scrubs either, just khakis and a dress or polo shirt. Especially if you are sick and without English as your first language, anything with authority can be scary even if you are legally in the country and when you feel sick, everything is more overwhelming.

Other times the police just get in the way and the hospital staff have to balance family/patient privacy from the police procedures (especially when there's a death at home - it must be investigated but at the same time family's are grieving.)

I've had an upside down day.

Got up according to the new time, decided working out would be a bad idea due to my heavy chest, had tea and breakfast, then was working on Sunday School prep. Dh kept offering to help and seemed to be rushing me. Finally I asked him why and he said we had to get to church.

Me: "When do you want to be there?"
Dh: "Ten to."
Me: "I've got over an hour to get ready then!" (It was 9:40)
DH: "Church is at 10 today, not 11!"
Me: total panic since I was still in my pjs and it was a shower day so my hair was dirty.

We made it into the sanctuary at 10:03 (my hair pulled back into a snood, and just sponge bathed, no shower.)

After church was coffee hour where the maple sugar was a hit. Then off to the sugar bush for a bit, down to the market town for lunch and milk, then home and I finally showered.

Dh is boiling again since we have quite a bit of sap on hand for us (about 6 quarts.)

I'm really sleepy so am debating a nap. Either than or starting in on purging more books from bookcases.

Had to make a trip to W M for a......pencil sharpener. :o  The little plastic one ended up getting broke by dh. I bought another plastic one for me. The choices for dh were battery operated, electric or manual with a suction handle. I settled for the manual. Then I went to H D for another box (20 tiles) of the decorative 6 inch tiles we are using. I have not turned the clocks forward. Dh started late on tiling and I decided to let him finish, not by the clock but the end of the job. We will see how that works! It looks so nice. Dh has tiled 3 times as much this weekend as last. The more he does, the faster he is getting, but it is still slower than we thought it would be.

Since it has taken so much longer than we imagined, I was not going to mention doing the main bath. I was thinking he wouldn't want to do it, once the weather warms up. He doesn't want to quit until both are done. The main bath is the weirdest shape ever. You step up a 6 inch step with a narrow doorway (without a door) to the area where the bathtub is. Dh has decided rather than strip the whole bathroom to the bones like he did on the master, he will do the bathtub area first. We can hang something over the doorway while he is doing it. That way the rest of the bathroom will still be useable, since we have found out just how long this process takes.

We had about an inch of snow overnight. It is mid 30's, sunny and very windy. We're suppose to be in the high 60's to low 70's, by the end of the week.

Harriet, I hope you and dd14 have a nice time at the shower.

Harmony, hope you feel better soon.

Nancy, I enjoy hearing about the chickens.

Twins, that's a lot of hours so early in the month.

I better get busy. I feel guilty just setting while dh is working so hard.

I've done another round.
Laundry twins have been reloaded. Got h's work shirts started.
Dishes are going.
I've vacuumed up laundry room and spiffed it up a bit.
I've made coffee we are having a simple lunch of fruit today after the buffet last night don't need more than that.

Next up  I've found yet another feed sack to take to the basement for making totes with. So I'll take it down when I bring up pumpkin for chicks. Then I need to get the scratch opened up and divided for storage or find a spot for it. I have the coat closet available. Need to have the hens use up the cob before they get scratch.

At least it feels like I am making progress. I'm off to do another round.
Got most of the stuff we needed last night so that helps.

I napped a bit and have spent the last while outside brushing the ddogs in the breeze. Lots of big globs of dog fur blowing about. Dneighbor's ddogs came out and the smallest one attracted a couple of hawks who were flying down to check him out. Dh has been working about in the yard. Dneighbor on the other side of us was spreading pre-emergent and fertilizer and had an extra bag, so loaned dh his spreader also.

I think we are going out to eat a little later. Need to do a few more rounds here...
-straighten M Bath
-straighten Mbedroom
-reboot laundry
-feed the ddogs and refill water

Its so nice out. I wish it wouldnt end. But we are back into the 20's and 30's by Tuesday I think. I DID get my car nice and clean. Even took it to the car wash, which by the way was mobbed ( d/t the weather I imagine) DD did hers too as long as I had the stuff out for it. She just left for work. Hopefully though she will be home at a decent enough time to get a good nights sleep. I think she has bronchitis brewing.

I also made dinner for her and DH, as he said he was hungry and she needed to eat before work. I am not eating as I had a late lunch and not hungry. I am still working on laundry. I do believe I am on the last load for today. Mine and DH's is done. I will help DD with hers thru the week if she needs me to. Just going to clean up the kitchen, finish the laundry for the night, medicate and call it a day.

Sunny and in the 60s here today! 8-) It is supposed to be 50 and rainy tomorrow. bleh. Then temps dip down to a more normal range for this time of year on Tuesday.

Had a wonderfully lazy afternoon after a morning at church and then lunch out with dh, dd17, and dfriend R. Dd14 had small group until 2 pm, so I picked her up after lunch and took her home. R took dh and dd17 straight home from the restaurant.

I took a nap this afternoon in prep for being at the airport at 11:10 pm. The Univ. kids, including ds18, fly back from Guyana tonight, and I'll be at the airport to help transport them back to campus. R will be there too; he has really missed S . :) Ds18 does not have any exams this week, thank goodness.

I'm off to WF with dh to get bread for tonight. Dfriend R will be eating with us, as usual. He ate dinner with our family W, Th, F, Sat (small group at our home), and tonight. I'm so glad they moved so close to us!!
