I am slowly returning to normal. House is caught up and so is the laundry. I subbed yesterday, I don't think I will have any more assignments now that the school year is almost over. The school and the district liked me well enough to ask me to come back next year, and I said yes
I had 11 precancerous "spots" removed from my face the other day. I look like I battled with a bunch of bees and the bees won. I was suppose to met up with my retired school pals for lunch today, but no amount of makeup and band aids would make me presentable. I have a brunch that I was going to attend on Sunday, but I don't think I'm going to make that either. In the meantime I am going to stay home-bound. Thats fine with me. I can catch up on my readings and Sweetie and I will get to watch a bunch of movies.
Puppoes feed. coffee had, footprints removed....now I think I'll go stick my nose in my book. Waving to y'all. Cy'all later....

Peeking in from I-95 bout 40 miles south of the border -SC. Dd is driving. Good travels to you, Kathryn. Should be home tomorrow. Hard to type on iphone. Just wanted to say hi.
Speaki g of lo blood sugar readings, mi e for the first time yesterday read "lo". Dd brought me OJ but I was ok later. Ttyl
Safe Travels Dee; also to Kathryn & Ken. Also thinking about Twins who might be traveling soon.
Tuesday afternoon I gave myself a perm; not something I enjoy, but it's only a couple of times a year.
Wednesday dh had a dr. appt, but when we got there receptionist couldn't find it in the computer. The other girl said it probably got lost when they changed computer systems recently. So that was rescheduled for next week -- that makes three dr. visits for next week!
Thursday we visited with our dniece (dh's dsister's ddaughter) and her dh. They treated us to dinner at Outback. Her dniece and her dfriend visiting from Oregon met us there also. We had a nice leisurely dinner and visit, then dniece & dh came back to the house for a little while. She had done some research on the family and was able to find grandparents back as far as 1861. She made up a small booklet for everyone in the family.
This evening is dgd18 spring concert. I would like to go since this is her last h.s. concert. I called ddil and am waiting for her to call back.
We're eating a bite of supper now, we have to leave in about an hour.

This is slow going. I have 2 bathrooms and 1 bedroom done. And I have been at it all afternoon. I am doing some laundry and that seems to slow me down.
Better keep at it. Only 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, 1 bath, family room to go plus mop the kitchen and dining area floors. Detail the kitchen. Ugh....
Posting from Columbus (it is the cross-over point of our hour glass shaped road trip.)
Dinner is at Ruby Tuesdays again, but not the same location as last time since we are heading out of the city in a different direction than we arrived in last time.
So far the drive has gone very well. I did almost 2 hours in the afternoon so dh could sleep. And he did.
((Cowinkie)) we would ALL love a sit-down meal with you no matter how many bees you had to fight! This too will pass! Something to smile and shake your head about someday.
*\o/* *\o/* *\o/* Li-lac, Li-lac, Li-lac! *\o/* *\o/* *\o/* you can do it!
One little cheerleader broke out of line to see about Harmony, too... Harmony, Harmony, she's our gal! *\o/*
Hope everyone with graduation stuff going on has a great time. - Oooo, blessed, too, now that I think of it! College grad doin's around her house, although I think she's already finished with house spiffing since her mom's been here a while.
Thanks Dee and Kathryn for check-ins.
helia, I so understand the decision on the sleepover. Wouldn't we love to give them extra hours in their days?
Errand today was to vitamin store and pet store for the healthy food.
lucylee will be interested to hear that I used Belk 20 percent coupon to find dd a black sleeveless bodice top with a crochet and beaded white collar for church.
We conga-ed our way home today, in fact was going south on I-95 this a.m. Looking for Dee. Between the turnoff to Hilton Head and the turn back west heading toward Macon, GA.
I cuop-ed just for today and am reading on ipad tonight. Very, very subdued house this evening. Dd got a speeding ticket today and we are appalled that she was going 96 mph when speed limit was 70. Her keys, DL and credit card for gas have been put away. (she drove a separate car for her and dfriend so we weren't too scrunched up w 3 in the back seat plus all our stuff in the Honda Pilot.)
Busy day tomorrow getting back to normal here.

Another 12 hours tomorrow. Only 8 hours of driving but it took us 11 hours with stops. I ate in the car but we stopped twice for gas, once for a long snack to check email and a leisurely dinner.
Sermon is half written. I'm off to get the yoga mat from the car and I'll do my physio (without icing since the ice packs aren't cold enough to bother.)
Yeah, Twins is home. Cowinkie returned home earlier in the week. When Dee and Kathryn are home, everything will be right in the village again.
I am working so hard that I keep having to snack because of my bs. So much for losing weight while working hard.
Inquiring minds want to know. Do you keep clean sheets on your extra beds or are they just covered with a bedspread or comforter? When company leaves, I wash the sheets, put them back on the bed with the comforter. If it is too long between company, then I rewash the sheets before they come. So today I had to wash sheets for both extra beds plus ours. I have done a lot of laundry today but couldn't be helped.
Harriet, thank you for the cheer. It helped motivate me.
