I heard through the grapevine that Kathryn was in the hospital... and realized I hadn't been looking in for a while.
So - first - thinking of Kathryn in her first procedure today... And Ken and the rest of the family. (I doubt Ken's been getting much sleep the last few days, either...)
And I see, CUOP, that Dee's DH has had surgery - good thoughts to you, too.
I'm juggling schedules a bit... working out the best times to do things. It's raining, now, but there may be a break in the afternoon, about the time I plan to go out...

Also in the virtual waiting room waiting for a
Kathryn update....
Finished that round and now....
-call my dmom back
-keep cell phone line open for dd, who wants to call me between noon and 1 p.m.
-Finish up first court report for dsis (I had started it last night....but I have to print legibly)
-start a lol
-call vet about dog food for dMacs
This will finish a.m. routine except for supper plans and clearing kitchen table, which has a ton of papers on it for dsis that I need. Dh is bowling tonight so it's just me and ds. Might have pizza and salad?

Finally remembered what dh said when he came to bed last night. "I learned my lesson! I really overdid -doing nothing but seeing & talking to people". (Lots of 'em). He did admit this morning that he's rather concerned about his erratic heart beat and the fact that it's so fast.(for him). And his oxygen level falling is also of concern. Just came back from a short walk. I'm trying to go with him -both as support and the very fact that I sure need it too. Even little walks are better than doing nothing!!
I went to K mart and got him 2 separate pieces for a sweat suit. The jacket zips & is really a windbreaker so will be good for him. The pants, of course, are about 4" too long. He called a gal who came over already and has them hemming them as I write. She's a good seamstress so am sure she'll do a much better job than me.
I just keep trying to putter and pick up. Think I should take 1 room at a time this week and do some deeper cleaning. I can see dust in little places (this place is the dustiest place we've ever lived).
Getting ready

Stopping by to see if there is any news yet of
Kathryn. Haven't left the waiting room since reading the news last night. Lots of prayers being said. I love how we all rally around each other like this.
It is Zone 3 & for me that is the basement & attic. I've been pretty good at doing something in my zones most weeks this year. I'm slowly making progress in the basement, clearing things out so we can remodel down there. The laundry room is almost done

. I haven't boxed everything up as I thought I would because I use many things regularly. Instead, I've made a decision on every item --keep, donate, toss. Have boxed some things, & the good news is that for every two boxes I go through, I only put one back. Baby steps.
Dh asked for chocolate mousse, so I want to make that for him today. He so rarely requests anything that I always try to fulfill his food requests right away. I need to make some macaroni salad for tomorrow, too.
Next up: write two emails, 15 minutes purging old computer files, write bills so I can mail them while running errands tomorrow, get grocery list together, pull out coupons to go with list. Eat lunch somewhere in there when I get hungry

.
OKay, I just love the image of LO in swim trunks & cowboy boots!

Too cute. (Take a picture of him wearing those -- what a fun memory to have when he is older

)
Glad
Mr Dee is willing to pace himself today.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

One report done, one to go! The second is the more involved and I probably need to add up all the unpaid medical bills to include in the report.
Talked to dmom and told her I'll see her around 3 p.m. or a little later. Also talked to dd who seems a little down about camp, her unit head had told her she should be more outgoing and open, apparently. (I told her to tell them that her mother is a raging introvert.

) Gave her the "mom" advice to give herself time to warm up. They won't even have the kids there until Wednesday.
Going to continue with this report until 2:30ish, when I will head out to visit dmom.

quick check in, my billirubin dropped from 60 to 20 overnight so best guess is that i have passed the stone blocking my pancreas. I have had an mri to confirm this and am waiting for the results, Still allowed nothing by mouth and dying for a drink right now.
They made me fill in the consent form myself even though I told them I couldn't use my right hand, and sure enough that blew the vein and my iv had to be removed. now it is in my left hand which is a lot better for mobility because I can bend my arm now and it is my left hand so I can do more stuff. I'm pretty black & blue all over my arms.
Rough night due to nausea but at 8:30 had pain meds which helped a lot once the scrolling stopped. It is just starting to wear off now so I have to decide whether to ask for more,
I might try walking a bit in the late afternoon. did walk from the bed to gurney when doing the mri.

So good to see you've checked in K in C what is scrolling?
Today I'm "managing" my expectations of what I can get done.

I think she said that the room was scrolling instead of spinning the other day. Maybe up and down instead of side to side.
Nice to see that Kathryn has checked in.

It's good to see Kathryn CI.
LO swim lessen went okay. If I compared it to last year's private swim lessons, it comes up with the short stick. However, he did have fun with friends and they did skim the surface with a little instruction on the basics. Several of the mothers were not happy and met with the pool administrator & lifeguards after today's lesson. I stayed out of that conversation. I paid for 2 weeks of lessons today. One of the week of lessons is after the court date. If LO isn't here, then we will donate his spot to another child.
Asparagus picked, washed, sauteed and enjoyed for lunch.
