Good afternoon! It's been a busy weekend, up until a couple of hours ago, for me. Yesterday I picked up dh at the airport when he came home, we relaxed awhile, then went to the festival again last night. We were very late getting home - 1:00 a.m. I slept poorly and slept in until 9:30 this morning.
When I got up today I read the paper, had coffee and breakfast and walked the ddogs, then we went to "market" where we bought cut flowers, peaches and country style ribs that dh will grill this evening. Also a had a 20 minute massage in front of thousands of people who walked by....
Then I napped away the afternoon - I still have a headache in spite of ibuprofen and napping. Dh is at pool and I'm debating going up there but can't seem to get it together. (Also, I stink!) Also debating whether I should make a peach cobbler for tonight when we don't have vanilla ice cream to go with it.
So I'm going to throw on a swim suit and walk up to the pool for a little while.

I looked under the other black hen that is broody her sister and she is sitting on one egg. 
The flower girl rushed back to pick up the petals before she got into trouble for leaving a mess, her Daddy following, trying to stop her the whole way. My dbil officiated so well.
I told ddil that anyone would forgive her for wanting to get her little one away from there, so she and ds left. We had waited at least 1.5 hours twiddling our thumbs, with food spread on one long buffet table you could see but not approach. No one even had water, which we heard often from those around us. 
Many guests gave up and left. Many stayed but wouldn't eat because they were making a point, I think. My dfirstmil never got to speak to dnephew or bride - she's pretty strong at nearly 95, but not that strong. She was definitely wilting, and finally said to us that she just wanted to go home. She was only able to wave at the couple from a distance. We finally left with another nephew's family, also small children who just couldn't stand it any more. They said they were going to find a McDonalds. 
Of course, they immediately told it! They had macaroni and cheese and lots of it - we were jealous! 
. We really tried to make it to church this morning but everything just went wrong and we gave it up.
