Most that I know of are cancelled here too, Twins. Had a pretty severe storm a while ago. Oh-oh, here it comes again!

Hope weather improves for DSs & everyone to go to OH tomorrow!

WW"A" is over. Every time the phone rang, I would say "Please, Lord let it be A." This has been going on since Saturday. This morning I called dh at work and told him that this needs to stop and I wanted to ask the girls and their families over for a bbq tomorrow night. He agreed. So I called dd2 and when she answered she acted fine. I asked her what she was doing and she was on her way to Sams to see if they could do a birthday cake for dgd17. Her birthday is today. So I invited her to the bbq. She immediately asked what she could bring. I told her what I was having and she said she would bring desserts.

The boys will be leaving a day early because their dad wants them on the 4th. Every year dd2 has them that day. So I called dd1 to invite them. She offered to make the potato salad. She is making the one she made for dgs19 graduation. It has bacon in it, new potatoes, etc. It is different but delicious. Her and dd2 don't like my potato salad but liked that one. My son-in-laws both like mine because their wives don't make potato salad. They did like this one too. Potato salad and deviled eggs seem to take forever to do and I always have a lot of dishes to wash. Just deviled eggs shouldn't be such a production.
Dgd16, daughter of dd1 has to work tomorrow. Which is just as well because when dgdnow17 brings her bf, dgd16 has an attitude. Dd1 said she will fix her a plate and take it to her.

As for the house, I will make sure the bathrooms are cleaned and kitchen swept. As long as every thing is in it's place, that will be good enough. When I clean before they come, after they are here a little while, it looks like it needs it again. So I will do the cleaning after. I am finally giving myself permission to do that.

I have been to the grocery store. I have a 2:30 hair appt and then I will go to Sams and Walmart. Just need 2 things from Sams and a small list for WM. I'll just have to deal with any crowds.
Dd2 didn't mention us coming over for cake, so I didn't push the issue.
Guess I better do a thing or two before I leave for the hair appt.

Am sick. On train and two hours from home. Using ice on my neck to fight the nausea and have taken every medicine I can think of. DS is aware and ready to meet us at the train station to take me to the hospital. Pain is down to a 3 from a 5 so I might just go home and take morphine and sleep it off if I can.

WOW @ all the rains! Too much of any weather is no fun. Our ground is so dry that is has cracks big enough to stick my hand into. The Drought monitor shows who has been getting rain....or not.

DH is at elder meeting. We will meet up at church tonight. DH is preaching again tonight. Pastor called about noon and ask DH to fill in for him. The lateness of the request meant DH has ZERO time to prepare because he already had afternoon/evening obligations. I take that back....it takes about 30 minutes to drive to church so DH does have that drive time to decide on a topic and scriptures to go with it.

I have been on an eating binge this week BIG TIME. WW weigh-in is not going to be pleasant. Today we had lunch with DGS16 at a favorite Italian restaurant. THREE slices of pizza later.......>>>>groan<<<< The food was best ever, the surroundings wonderful and the visiting was so enjoyable that I just kept on eating as if that would make it last. Why oh WHY do I overeat? It doesn't make anything better. not really expecting an answer....just talking out loud...

After my hair appt., I made a quick trip thru both Sams and WalMart. When I came in dd1 had called. I called her back. She said dd2 had called her earlier to see about getting tickets to the new Despicable Me movie that starts today. Dgd16 works there. Dgd16 bought 7 tickets but they only needed 6, since dgd2 gets in free. So dd1 was going with them to use the extra ticket. I teased her and asked her if she was asking my permission, it was granted. She said dd2 had told her we would be having cake and ice cream later tonight for dgd17 birthday. So things are once again back on track. I just knew this morning that I was going to try and turn this around. I didn't have a plan B, in case dd2 wasn't agreeable. Each night I have prayed myself right to sleep over this and each morning it was my first thought. I hate drama!

Plumber is here. new taps and goose neck for K sink. It looks good.
He is having issues with the hand basin. bits welded that shouldn't be ???. needed extender set.. things not fitting together as would be nice.

washing is on pause.

BabyN. left at lunch time. So I was freed up to mend some capri's, and now I'm bushed after mowing the neighbors front yd. earlier, then after a break did our front yd., and another break did our back yd. We've had a cool down break.

H. is home now too.
