Happy Anniversary to the Dees hoping it's wonderful! Waving to everyone.
Phew we might be getting a break from the heat in a couple days it's starting to wear on everyone here. I'm rethinking going to one store that does not open until mall hours and will stick to ones that open earlier.

Done w/ my walk & breakfast bed still needs to be made.
Yesterday dgd polished off the last two peanut butter cookies, I had others in the the freezer for h's lunch, today I've got some M & M cookies in the oven these will be for next week. I was going to make up some giant cookies but they will not fit in the containers he uses.

Yea the bed is made. Putting reading on my list finished a couple of very interesting articles in my new Chicken Magazine.

You do know that dh married me when I was only 5, right, Okay? :D

Just came back from breakfast. Dh nearly catapulted into the recliner & he's out. Don't imagine Dr will call before late today. Stopped & bought him some bananas in case his potassium is too low from the Lasix. He actually stopped that after 3 pills (yesterday). He said, "I think we can go wherever you planned". Not 70 miles away says I. Can always go another day. If he feels up to it later we'll go out for dinner.

DD has taken dgs8 to Niagara Falls for the day --maybe over into Canada. DGS has passport & she got an affidavit giving permission to take him out of the country from DS-$ & ddil#2 -notarized by our dneighbor. He loves having his aunt taking care of him during the summer. She's always dreaming things up for them to do.
She'll be leaving here in 2 weeks. Means gd15 will be coming next Friday. Hoping that week goes ok. :?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR. & MRS. DEE!!! :D :D

The guys are in the woods now, working 9 - 11 a.m. It'll be another hot sunny day, it's beautiful outdoors. I cannot believe the boys go home day after tomorrow! It seems like they arrived just yesterday and the week's sped by so quickly!

This afternoon the grsons will have an XBOX competition on-line with other friends, at the same time, after lunch and showers. They have a blast! It's great for them. Good clean fun! Their parents are strict, and these kids are so nice, polite, and helpful. The only problem, which isn't a "real" problem, is they laugh so loud while they're playing their game, but it's joyful laughter!

Have a Gr8 Day, Everybody! :D

Hi Ladies,

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Dee.

My DH and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the anniversary wishes yesterday. My colleagues at work seem to think that 21yrs is a long time and an achievement in this day and age.

((Hugs)) to all who need them.

I'm trying to keep up but we are concentrating on packing at the moment.

We are still waiting to hear from the different banks as to which one will give us the home loan.

Visiting nurse called a bit ago. Dr's office called her back and the nurse practitioner from cardiologist will be calling. Dh has to go in for blood work (not sure yet if it's fasting) and they're scheduling him for another echo cardiogram on Monday. Are we having fun yet? Have to drive in to the cardio's office to pick up paper work for lab request. About 50 mile RT. If not fasting we can go have it done this afternoon -if it is we can go quite a bit further than normal in the morning. It just will be nice if we can figure out just what's happening. He was really dragged out yesterday & today.

Morning y'all...

I'm home... Had a great week spending time with my mom, brother and his family, as well as a day with friends. Brought the heat dome with me from AZ. Temps in NJ were at an all-time high, but we managed to have fun any way. Ate my favorite hot dogs, lobster, pizza and drank a few beers as well. It was nice to be home. My mom is doing well for being 85...and we had lots of fun together. Travel went well both ways...and now its good to be home.

I've been busy this morning. All regular morning routines done. All trip clothes washed, dried and put away. Suitcase cleaned out and everything has found its home again. All laundry is caught up. House is in good order...sheets washed and back on, bed is made up. Mail has been sorted, emails dealt with...I didn't have access to a computer while I was gone. I have a stack of mail to address so that's next on my list. Later today need to get my vitamin B shot and make a needed trip to the grocery store and bank. That should get me caught up. House needs some attention but still need to order a vacuum today as well. Seems Sweetie has some ideas on what I should buy. I'm okay with that since we've been talking about different vacuums before I was gone. My guess is he's been doing more research on them while I've been gone.

Doggies were glad to see me when I got home and they've been hanging around me most of the morning. It's nice to go away for a while, but always good to come home. It was raining when I got up this morning...soft and gentle just the kind we need. While I was gone I kept seeing the news saying Phoenix was getting all sorts of storms and rain, but Sweetie said our area got very little of the bad weather.

Waving to y'all...will find my way back later, but don't want to get too sidetracked for now. Still have some desk things to do and that should take about an hour. Got good music playing and that helps.....

Dee do you or your ds with the business have a fax machine? They could fax the requisition to you and you could save the drive.

Completely non-productive day here. Scarily so.

Absolutely NOT acceptable that you have to pick up the lab orders. My Dr. faxes them all over the country for us and there is no problem getting the work done. Then the lab faxes the results back.

In fact, new Dr. just types it into her computer and it is printed at the lab.

Tell them this is the 21st century!!

Off soap box and going to do my laundry.
