Back again.

DH helped me shower and dress in between running errands and having a customer show up. I love the feeling of being clean!

It doesn't hurt as much to have the sling off while showering and dressing. I have a rolled up towel under my arm in the shower and DH has another dry one ready for me when i step out to put under my arm while drying and dressing, We have a good system going,

Our dfriend who passed had just learned he was going to be a grandpa and was so excited about that, He usually hung out at sporting goods stores buying ammo and knives but lately he had been shopping in the baby dept, It was funny to think of him shopping for onesies but so very much like him too.

Monday i get my stitches out and hopefully get set up for PT. There is PT in our little town, about 4 miles from us. Had mentioned them to doc and she said people had good results there,

Its the weekend, dsons are all out. One is working, DH has a customer in his shop. It's dbrother, the dogs and me for right now,

Five of us spent 5 hours together this morning. (DD, DGD2, LO, DGS16 and myself). DH joined us for breakfast but then had to return to MPB repairs. Our time together was a success. No cross words spoken.

I am feeling a tiny bit zapped. I just finished eating lunch (left over beef & stir fry). I'm drinking a cup of coffee with expectations of being revitalized.

It's time to leave for DUncle/Aunt 50th wedding celebration and DAunts 84th surprise birthday celebration.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday Mike wanted to get a "juicer". It can make smoothies, which is part of the reason he wanted it. So today before we can go grocery shopping, I decided to straighten the "pantry" side of the kitchen. Even after I tossed the expired stuff (a cam of mandarin orange slices and 3 boxes of jelly powder) the cupboards are crammed full. We don't need much other than fresh fruits and veggies when we finally do get out the door.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

No surprises here. I am really, REALLY, just dragging around. I did manage to strip the bed and get the sheets in the washer. They are dry now and ready to go back on the bed. I need to s2s; dh's uncle's visitation is at 5:00. Talked to dmom; she sounded good. She is planning to come to the visitation, and also another for a friend's mother.

I am really, REALLY lacking in energy and motivation.

ci: with my "other things I would like to do" -- most of these things will not get done today, either.
There is a real problem w/the crazy hours we keep around here. We sleep too late, and then have this small window of time before dh thinks we "have to" go see about dmil... and during that small window of time, I'm not going to be vacuuming b/c he is listening to radio program... and then he wants to go out and eat and/or go to a movie... or we're keeping dgs... or dh is watching a ballgame and I'm not going to vacuum during that... and then I stay up too late b/c he does and sleep too late b/c he does (but of course, I wouldn't be vacuuming while he was sleeping either... So what do you (I) do???
I guess the real solution would be that on one day at least, of the week, I would tell him he has to visit dmil without me and let me get the vacuuming done and some of the whb. But almost all other chores could easily be done in that "small window of time," available -- if I would use some bgs and get off the computer! I should be vacuuming NOW, while he is in the shower, for example!
I just have no self-discipline at all.
But anyway, here are my remaining goals...
[ ] bedroom focus (About to lose my window of time with that, aren't I?)
[ ] whb
[ ] exercise
[/] change sheets
[/] laundry
[ ] ironing
[ ] catch up on Downton Abbey
[ ] pictures downloaded to Wmart
Tomorrow is another day.

H. Is watching a movie on net flicks. Glare is so bad upstairs from where I sit I will have to watch it again later it is a western so no biggie. I found a tv I thought might work for the basement but was a bit small 29" h. Said to on wait sigh less glare down stairs, maybe I could hand up a blanket over the curtian. I went for a short walk 1 mi. Instead. Took pics. Of hens using the new tree branch roost anden eating from the flock block. With shopping hoping that is enough. Ex. For now.

Twins do tell us abouti the celebration. Thinking of a Hanakha wreath for dson and family for their door, got blue mini stockings any suggestions what else I could deorate it with. It is really hard to find traditional Jewish stuff here as there are so few in our area closest house of that faith is 3 hrs. Away that I know of.

I am thinking an evergreen wreath with blue ribbon & blue bow with the blue stocking for starters.

I turned on a spunky musical-type Spanish show in Spanish (which I don't understand the language) , but it was like a cross between Dancing with the Stars and American Idol, only in Spanish. I then decided to try On Demand exercise, picked dance cardio for 9 min., lasted 5 min., huffed and puffed, so walked it out after that, requiring my cane. I only needed to use it about 5 min. and the did yoga and calf/leg stretches. I need to get my Zumba DVD instructional workout out, to learn the beginner's way, rather than jump into an advanced dance cardio workout, I have no clue what I'm doing.

DH got back from Safeway, I'm doing laundry today, and helped him bring in some wood.

A comical thing happened. My b-day was 1/15/14 and DH's was 10/27/13. HE got a b-day card from Dson, Ddil and the grands today with $25 in it. DH thought it was a handwritten "typo" on the envelope, but he'd forgotten they'd forgotten his b-day. With so much going on in a household of 9, it's easy to forget such things. Ddil sent me a mailer, but it didn't arrive today, so I'll wait until Tues. the 21st to see if it's made it here yet. Then, I sent Ddil/Dson 3 hats for dgd, but I don't hear they've picked it up from the P. O. yet because they were left a notice the day it was trying to get delivered. I can hardly wait to hear how the hats fit.

I'm back off to our "Pollyanna" movie now, laundry, and trying to get letters done with journal writing.

Have a nice Saturday Surprise. I guess we got ours today.

That's interesting about On Demand exercise, Ivy.

Sadie, I'm impressed with your dh's extra special care of you. Good for him.

Lilac, I would guess you and dd are getting ready for her sale of store fixtures, or was that today?

lucylee, this is a case of "do as I say, not as I do" because our household is pretty bad about it, too. But, if dh could decide on the bedtime he really wants, and stick to it, you two could have the feeling of a more varied life right now, especially in this season of very little daylight. Since we're living in an age in which we can record and watch later almost anything we'd like, it makes it easier as far as not missing entertainment. Otherwise, you can do what HRH and I often do (and which may be familiar to you from work years) of simply being on a different schedule, and telling him goodnight when you need to hit the hay. But really, he would need to understand if you can't always be very quiet all morning long.

Grocery shopped. Only missed one thing on the list, and certainly spent enough, but it's funny - still get home and think, "What did I buy, again, for all that money?"

Exercised.

Next up, a shower and let my hair dry enough to put it up to curl for church tomorrow. Ds can't go with us tomorrow, so a little down about that. He works. We had thought it would work out. The young minister is preaching and ds still hasn't even gotten to meet him. They are the same age, both with a young child, so I think they would have a lot in common.

DH and I traded recliners from the main office to the great room. The black leather 1 in the gr8 rm. was too soft, not supportive, caused thigh, back pain on me. Now I've got my firmer MIL's recliner, which is a heavy fabric, a bit worn in a spot, but still very supportive of the lumbar, legs, etc... :D

DH is cooking pot roast in the oven. Smells good.

I wrote out a "Doctor's Orders!" poster with a doctor holding medication in 1 hand and a prescription in the other. Then, I listed 11 proactive things I can/need to do, WANT to do, or continue doing, after that. It ends with an Rx on top of a light aqua squarish shape over a darker aqua squarish shape. The doctor's coat is green and so are the tacks! I see it every time I turn my head to the left wall, at my laptop. This is a good thing. I have a diet buddy, too.

I wrote tomorrow's to do list out. It's Seahawk's fever in the WA and Seattle area. DH said if they lose, people will cry and become depressed and said HE'S NOT! He said it's a game, if they lose it'll be too bad, but nothing to ruin your moods over or to cry crocodile tears over. A game. His dcousin has the same thing with Bronco Fever all over town, where she lives in CO, too. She agrees it's exciting, too, but it's just a game. Opinions only.

Tomorrow's supposed to be a nice day, too. :D

Harriet, the sale is suppose to be next Saturday. Dd2 had set up 3 different days and times for all completed pieces to be picked up. The first was Thursday night, 5:30-6:30 for an after work pickup time. Today it was 11-12 for a weekend pu time and Monday will be 12-1 for a lunch hour pu time. Dd2 ran an ad for 2 days stating this plus has a sign on the door. I guess if there is any left, we have talked about taking it to the address on the form and leave it, if no one is at home. Dd2 doesn't want to keep their stuff forever. There are quite a few orders that were done as far back as April and never picked up. She also had a lot of pieces that people had started, paid for and never returned to finish. I am just hoping that dd2 can focus and be ready for a sale. She has undiagnosed Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. She starts something and gets sidetracked and never returns to it.

Dh and I went to see "Lone Survivor" today. It is humbling to see what our servicemen and women go thru for our freedom. Every single person was so quiet after it was over and just filed out of the theatre.
