I've s2s and my hair dried while I was vacuuming. Bedroom and main floor are done. First load of laundry is hanging to dry. Second is running now. Dh is washing up the water jugs and other containers we were using to water the plants. I've put away a few more things (the suitcases are empty but things are lying around on all surfaces upstairs.)

Now to make up a grocery list while the laundry finishes up.

It is quiet here. At my house too. We went to church and then DH stayed for the last hour like he usually does and I made one last stop on the way home. Twins and I must have had the same thought, as soon as I got home I put in a little pork tenderloin and some carrots and baked potato. I wanted to give DH a cooked meal for lunch because he is helping serve a fund-raiser fancy dinner for the youth group (camp) but we didn't buy tickets. They were $20 apiece so he said he'd just help and I didn't go. I had to iron a white shirt for him. They're bringing in pizza for the kids.

Had in mind to finish up a few things and take it easy for the rest of the day, but I just now got things wrapped up pretty much. I guess I could just keep on working forever and never ever stop! But a big list of stuff is done. The floor haze from the grout is cleaned up; the last room is cleaned, dining room furniture, etc., and kitchen chairs and table... all the laundry is finally folded up... it's a list of about 12 things done.

Garden is watered and garbage out. I'm going to take a nice shower and do a pedicure (my toes are sore). Just keep telling myself, "I can do this, I can do this".

Out for dinner because we left the shopping so late. Car started first time despite sitting in the cold for 44 days. Needed gas.I finally remembered to use the 5 dollar gift card I got from a cereal promotion.

While Mike was watching his usual Sunday stuff, I went into the bedroom to read and ended up sleeping for 3 hours. I haven't done anything today.

I s2s, then I stripped the grape vines (fakes) off the laundry room cabinet tops, DH brought ladders in, he swept the dust off the cabinet tops. We re-decorated the tops. DH cleaned fallen dust off the washer/dryer, counter, and I swept the floor, after polishing red plastic apples, which go into a basket on the cabinet tops. It was filthy! :!:    It's FOCUS = Laundry for the week. I was only able to do laundry in there this week, as had a fever from the 9th through the 12th. I've been fine since. :D

FOCUS = Storage starting tomorrow. Will  write a list of places, nooks and crannies, closets, etc.. where I store "stuff". Then, will work on the Storage all week.

Got a bag of herbal teas and a 2-birds pair sitting on branches little statue, for a Dfriend, 97 1/2, to take to her Tuesday. DH will drop me off, I'll call when he can come get me, as I don't drive because of eye problems I have.

We're having a damaging winds storm with heavy rains now, so the power can go out. :( I thought I'd come on-line to post, rearrange calendar reminders, read obits, etc.... while we still have power, just in case we won't later. Have a generator, but was told by 3 different cable/computer people it's not a good idea to run computers on generator power. So we won't.

I hope everybody's having a Sweet Sunday! :D I've been doing snail mail and dinner's going into the oven now, via my chef for dinners, DH. :D Have a wonderful start to the week tomorrow, too. :D

Hello. Quiet here in the village and in my home today. Neither of our local families visited Saturday or today. So we had a day off to putter and relax. This week will be busy though, out every day except Thursday.

I will be thinking of Harmony and dh tomorrow. Hoping and praying all goes smoothly. I'm in awe of all you have accomplished these last few weeks in preparation for the time ahead.

Oh, Twins, what a hassle to have a break-in like that. So glad you and dh were not involved and are safe.

Nice to see Kathryn & dh home safe again. And nice that Helia and dfamily are enjoying their time in warm weather instead of snow and cold.

OKay, hope all goes well with you and dgs18.

(((Harriet))).

Waving to those I've not mentioned by name. I'm going to continue to relax for the rest of the evening!

p.s. ---- stay safe Ivy!

Home. Groceries put away. I've written and posted my review of the B&B in Wellington along with full comments directly to AirBnB (including the comment that I don't think our host is a good ambassador for AirBnB and that I won't be renting from them again unless it is a complete property to myself.)

I think I'll start physio now and then head to bed. I'm exhausted and can't believe it is only 8:30.

I'm also quickly falling apart. My wrist hurts again now that I have to use it and my heel is killing me so I suspect plantar fasciitis. It sometime bothers me but this is the worst it has ever been. Ds was concerned about the position of my leg when I fell (my left leg slipped out to the front and I went down with my right foot planted firmly on the ground, bent at the knee with my body falling back, butt hitting first, then onto my side, ending up with my right foot tucked under my body - after stopping my rolling on my side towards the edge of the path.) I kept wondering how I managed not to hurt myself more - maybe this is the 'more'.

Kathryn, I used to take PT for my feet/ankles for balance, etc.. Plantar Faciitis was one of my problems. The Podiatrist showed me how calf/lower leg stretches at the wall, with my hands up on the wall, would help, if I held the stretches for 30 seconds each, then switch legs. I do them close to the wall, then further out, twice. This helps take away the pain.

Also, couple of other tricks they told me about where how, when you get up, out of bed, the heel pain's at its worst. They said to take the thumbs, massage the heck out of those heels, to break up the facia inside the heels, which helps.

Lastly, they said if you take a Mason jar or other glass bottle, but more safely, a rolling pin, put that next to your bed, and roll your arch of your foot back and forth across it. It helps the arch, it breaks up those nasty pain-giving "things" inside the heel, and also, there is ONE more tip:

You take paper cups, like Dixie cups (in Canada they may be a different brand) and you full them 3/4-full of water, freeze them. Then, during the day, after you've worked on your heels, you take your bare feet, rub the ice in the cup onto the heel for about 10 minutes, less or more, whatever you need, and you'll feel better. :!: :D

I hope these tips are not repeating what you've already learned, but in case 1 or 2 of the tips are new, I'm glad I posted them. All my best to you on your heels journey, as it's not "fun" at all and can be rather challenging. I've succumbed to receiving cortisone injections in my heels, as a last resort, at times, too. Those aren't "fun" either. :(
