:D Good Morning, Villagers, on Monday Reset Day! :D

I've s2s, had breakfast, pills, coffee, etc.. DH fixed his side of the bed, I did mine.

It's partly cloudy here with rain showers up North and on the Coast, but not here- yet. Thunder's in the forecast for this afternoon, in our area.

Yesterday, I did NOT follow my Gastritis diet, but with Gas-Ex, generic Zantac, & Pepto-Bismol, I did well sleeping throughout the night without pain. I decided today I'm back on track, eating healthy again, so the orange creamcycle cake will be for DH. I cannot lose weight and eat cake, too.

My AFO broke on the right leg at the ankle, but I wore custom-made orthotics all day yesterday. Then, by evening, my knee, hips, and pelvis pain were all agonizing me, out of alignment, as I have scoliosis, too. So DH and I decided that his Dbuddy, who has fancy-smancy tools, will fix my AFO. The "Plan" is, I'll wear the custom-made orthotics for 1-hour a day, increasing 1-hour daily. Such as, on day #2, I'll wear custcom-made orthotics for 2 hours, and on up, until I'm weaned from the AFO's. I can't wear AFO's, which break all the time, the other orthotics are like NEW, and I have shoes for them, too. I was in agony, so I'm glad I remembered podiatrists telling me about the slow weaning steps into new foot things.

DH is going to get wood. I'm going to go chat with him. You all have a great day and hoping we all get reset today, too!

Hello everybody! I'm resetting everything around here. I'm way behind on paperwork, reading posts, laundry, but at least the house is in decent shape. DD2 and family were here Friday night through Sun evening and she is a good guest to have as she cleans up her messes as they go along. She even did a big cleanup in the kitchen for me when I couldn't get out of bed. One of my DGSons gets his "clock" all backwards during the summer and both nights he stayed up nearly all night and slept a good deal during the day - which kept waking me up too. I'm not able to sleep when I hear the bathroom going and doors and tv, even though he stays fairly quiet...

So this morning I worked at my desk and I've made a lot of progress there but there's still more. I also have lots of food leftovers so I don't have to cook for a few days and that's nice, so I'll be able to get caught up.

I hope I haven't missed terribly important things here, it will take me a while to get everything read. DD and DGSons gave DH a big flat screen monitor to replace our smaller one for Father's Day (wasn't that nice?!) and I'm getting used to the s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out print. I know it will be nice for my spreadsheets not having to go back and forth so much, but I had to reduce my print size and push it back a bit. bbl

At the house, cleaning and packing up the stuff we left behind.

Bedroom level is almost done (3 bedrooms, 2 bath, small landing.)

Upper main will be the worst because the kitchen falls in that area.

Lower main is partly done.

I'm trying not to think of the basement.

Trash is dumped. I have swept up the mud from shoes. After having folk here this weekend the house is in pretty good shape.

S2s new hair dryer works great.

Sure you'll be glad when everything's done at the house, including the sale of same. Did the one fall through I'm assuming?

I did six 3-minute rounds. Lol #2 is washing, got ARC donation (6 boxes) to entry way area, tidied kitchen, dining room, great room, hung nightie and Muumuu in bedroom up, fixed my side of the bed, tidied the bedroom, ran scans, am writing a dfriend, and just did a little of this and a little of that. Put a pillowcase on a pillow for dgson-17, who comes 1 p.m. the 22nd. He drives himself, which is nice b/c DH won't need to drive up and back, twice, to get him and take him home.

DH is stacking firewood, here, with his dfriend. It's nice to get so much done so early in the year. Hoping to be all done by Sept. 1 or the end of August. Sept. is a busy month, October will be even busier, and then Nov. and Dec. are insane. So many appt.'s, crowns to get, tests to get done, physical, check-ups, get ready for the holidays. At least it gives us something to look forward to and time marches on, right? ;)

I went off in a la-la land of Ancestry.com and I'm blaming Cowinkie because she keeps bringing up genealogy! Notice I don't go off when she mentions her sit up and push ups, however. (Ducking and running away.)

Still haven't gotten into the shower.
-s2s
-make the bed
-straighten up MBR and bath
-start a lol
-deal with 10 pieces of paper off my desk top

Dee, they still want the house but they want to tie my hands until June 27 and I'd rather be free to sell to someone else. So they know they are our preferred buyers. Just emailed them to let them know they'll see an agents sign on the property this week but that they are named in our contract so we can sell it to them with no commission should their house sell.

Dining room is done. Dh is working on the basement now. He can't believe how dirty the work room was. No kidding, it was never cleaned in the 20 years it existed!

LOL twins....come along with me on this genealogy trip, I could use the company. I'm taking classes from my LDS Family center every week, which only helps to show me how much I'm really behind. In all honesty, I'm really way ahead of the curve, but am very stumped at a particular linking point...which only seems to make me more obsessed with finding the answers...I know its in there somewhere and I'm probably looking right at it, and knowing that is just driving me more crazy.

BTW, you need to go to familysearch.org, create a family line starting with yourself and see what you can find. Ancestry has been a great help, but I have been able to link to other's in my family with family search. And if that isn't enough to keep you glued to your screen and keyboard try WIKI....

As for my sit ups and push ups, I just got back from my gym class. I'm counting what I did there as part of my daily ab challenge. Good new is I am able to keep up with the class, but have a feeling tomorrow I'm going to be feeling the effects of today's class. That's OK cause I'm heading back to the same class tomorrow.

Trying not to look at my genealogy stuff that is laying around on my desk...If it pulls me in, I'll be toast for the day. This quest is really additive to me, and I'm usually not like that. However I do like a good mystery and this one has really gotten to me.

Hey Blessed.... :D
Kathryn, in just a few weeks this will be all behind you and you can begin to enjoy your next journey....like sitting out on your balcony and enjoying your spectacular view and the summer rays.

Waving to ya'll. i'll bbl...........
