I'm definitely playing catch up today as this has been a middling productive week. I wasn't very productive yesterday.
My day Wednesday: I was out and about for most of the day from 9:25 a.m. - 10 pm. I ended up 40 minutes late to interview #1, even after allowing for 20/25 extra minutes to get there. This was b/c I got lost in the big city due to interstate and road closures from standing water and road construction. Fortunately, the interviewer was likewise late due to the same road closures and she was very kind and spent an hour with my anyway. I asked about as many questions as she did. . . .By the time I was done with that interview and drove home, I had 10 minutes to change my slacks upon which I had succeeded in dumping a bottle of water, grab a bite to eat, and then head out to interview #2, to which I was on time. Yay! Leaving interview #2, I went straight to dfriend B's house. We walked and talked for about an hour then shared glasses of lemonade together. I got home by 5 and dh called asking about meeting him for a jog. I changed, drove to our rendez-vous location, jogged, stretched, chatted - and then it was 6:30. We headed home, changed into non-sweaty clothes, puttered a little and were just about to walk out the door to a nearby fav restaurant, when dh got a text from a friend he was supposed to meet for coffee. At that exact moment. So, we decided to delay our dinner plans by an hour, making dinner an 8:30pm + affair. He met with the friend, while I ate watermelon and toodled around on this machine - and then went to the nearby bookstore to buy a TOEFL prep book. I met up with dh there, we went to the restaurant, and were home at about 10 pm. It was a great day! --But I can't do that every day.
The interviews went well. If I get an offer from both places, it will be a hard decision. Director of the second institution said he'd like to hire me, but he needs to confirm that teachers are needed for the fall. Second institution is in town and very flexible time-wise, but I actually liked the work environment, class set up, and likely the student population at the first place better. However, the time commitment of that position was greater than I had planned, plus there's a good 45 minute commute one way. I'd have to drop moms group and other commitments. . . . My main decision seems to be whether or not I accept a position the first institution - IF I get an offer with them. It would be easier if I didn't.
Today:
- up
- fed ddogs
- self care (shower, hair, teeth, face, etc.)
- wrote a reply to a moms group email
- prepped for tutoring
- met with new tutee R - TOEFL prep
Next:
- lunch
- finish the a.m. routine
Later:
- exercise? Dh is wanting to run/jog tomorrow a.m. so I'd do something different
- fold 3 loads of towels and bedding
- other laundry catch up
- look over notes for tutee A
- meet with tutee A 3 - 4:30
- finish book chapter
- email with mentoree
- vacuuming
- supper: chicken cacciatore and salad?

He came in poured a bowl of cereal & put milk on it when he discovered the sandwich! He had to look right by it for goodness sake. I even left out chips and a cup for his drink). I'm satisfied with a 1/2 so will quit there. My weight was up this morning as was my BS. I splurged on some soft ice cream last night and we had supper late. I just can't eat late.

) and start right back down. I see she has a 'teacher work day', October 20th if she could get that off, it would give us 3 days to get back down there. Perhaps have breakfast with everyone that Saturday (early) and take off from there. Lots of possibilities. Looks like dh will be driving down one of our camper's trucks anyway when he gets ready to leave. 
Was thinking I had much longer than that -like 10-12. Have lots of things to accomplish before then. So have started my list on here, dividing it up into categories. Where does the summer go?
Speaking of crossovers one of my very very favorites is/was Selena the Tejana singer who was murdered by her boutique manager. I loved Selena and I must round up some of her best for Sweetie to add to my MP3. (He will do it for a spaghetti dinner! I know he will.)
