Hello all! Happy new school year, Harriet! I'm looking forward to that dance too! :) Though it looks like next week, which is the week school starts here, I have meetings every single morning.

I don't think I was here yesterday. Was I here on Saturday? Not sure. . Saturday, we had a family team effort to clean the house. It was in great shape by 5 pm! I went to the groc. store. Dh marinated chicken breasts to be grilled. Small group was here 5:15 - 8:30. We had a visitor, a fairly new divorcee from our church. I know her a bit; our kids are similar in age. She's still hurting, that is for sure. I think she enjoyed the group, even though we just ate and shared and prayed together. She is a lawyer at the big U in town and deals with some of dh's stuff, actually. She is smart and has some strong opinions. She'll fit into the group well. :)

Sunday after church, we had lunch w/ some friends. I don't know them too well, but it was really fun to see their new (to them) house and all the work they've done on it. They are an older couple, newlyweds in their late 50s, or maybe early 60s?? Her ex-dh died many years ago. He had never been married. He also got his first University degree about 2 years ago. I'm so impressed with that! He's a nurse. They make a lovely couple! Even their dogs get along with each other. I was able to veg for a while later in the afternoon. Then, I spent an hour on moms group organizational emails. I needed to schedule a bunch of meetings: steering committee meeting, interview potential child care worker, meeting with child care coordinator and crafts person to go over the children's curriculum and crafts supplies. Plus, another woman is putting together yet another meeting regarding the new ESL small group we're hoping to have in our moms group.

S, R, baby J, dd18's dorm roommate, and my mentoree student, who is staying with S and R for a week, all came over for dinner Sunday night. So, we were 10, including the baby, around the table.

So far today, I have:
- gone for a jog with dh
- s2s and self care/grooming
- taken dd16 to the dentist. 2 small cavities between her teeth, the beginnings of which they had spotted last time.
- done emails; mostly moms group emails.
- emailed Language Center to see if they know their need for teachers yet. This director told me to email him. He seems pretty easy going. I knew he wouldn't get back to me last week. .. .I think the other place isn't interested in me since they haven't contacted me yet. Would be nice to avoid that difficult decision. It would also be nice to hear definitively one way or another.
- lunch
- a.m. routine is done, except for dealing with the dishwasher and counters.

Later today:
- go shopping with dd18 for sheets (extra long) that will fit her dorm room bed
- meal planning and groc. list
- groc. store
- have dd18 give me her Univ. account info so I can create a parent account and pay her bills
- supper: probably jambalaya (using up leftover rice and chicken), corn bread, salad
- dd16 to drumline practice 7 - 9

Next:
- finish a.m. routine
- update laundry
- see if dd18 and I can determine a time to go shopping.

I'm moving in both dd18 and ds20 Wednesday morning. I'll have to do them separately, although they'll be living about 3 blocks from each other.

It's sunny here, I've s2s, and have been starting my day:

- Journal writing & QT
- Breakfast, coffee, supplements, etc...
- Called in prescriptions
- Made the bed
- Washed dark LOL and whites/pastels LOL will go off on a timer in 45 minutes
- Wrote a WM list, for when we go on library day
- Shampooed

Fort Lewis on their Rainier reservation (where they have additional land out there) are shooting off cannons today. The sound comes up Puget Sound, to our area, so it sounds like a war zone! :!: :o I'm a Native of WA and grew up in Yelm, where the cannons shook my bedroom windows at night, when we were sleeping. So I'm used to it.

DH called in his blood sugars, he needs to take additional insulin/drug study med, to bring his blood sugar down.

I was real shaky this a.m., hadn't eaten for about 13 hours and was wondering is low blood sugar causes a person to be shaky. Maybe you, Nancy, can answer that question. :?: I'm not diabetic.

Waving to Dee, Twins' Mom, Helia, Harriet, LadyM, Booksaver, RR, Harmony, and Sadie, and who comes after me. This is a quick CI. I need to read a library book a. s. a. p. and get back to walking and Christmas crochet. Everybody have a great Monday, too! :D

Chugging along here.

Sheets washed, bed remade. Floor swept. Most of the throw rugs shook out and washed, hanging outside now.

I'm working on an accounting project. It's taking a long time. I have hand-logged a 14 column spreadsheet, 3 pages so far. It's budget work.

Back to work.

Yes, you will be shaky if your BS goes too low, whether you're diabetic or not. Not eating for 13 hours would not be good for anyone probably. Although I guess if you eat dinner and then no breakfast till 7/8am that's 13 isn't it. Maybe you just didn't have enough at night. Does your dh have a test meter that you could quickly test if you ever feel that way again? I get yucky/shaky if mine gets below 80, but a non-diabetic might even be lower.

This morning I woke up 30 minutes before alarm. I visited colorist then started following my normal schedule. After LO was launched to school & MPB AM chores were finished, DH and I went to town in order to get Social Security information. I have spent too much time trying to set up our accounts online with zero success. Soooo...we bite the bullet (so to speak) and spent 2 hours sitting in a very crowded waiting room that had an armed guard standing watch. Once our number was called, the SS person was able to unlock both of our account enabling them to be set up. We left with security codes in hand that enabled me to finish setting up online accounts when we returned home. Crazy to take so much time and effort to do a simple computer task!

LO is home and eating a snack.

Next up -
** monitor LO homework
** read 2 books with him
** prep dinner (pork loins & salad)

ToddlerN was only here for one hr. Today so I did a couple of errands. I am back from the back from 2 banks and I found a turtleneck with red snow flakes on it for the colder weather.
