Was almost thinking I wouldn't get to turn on the computer today. Early to church. Friends there asked us out to lunch. Back home a lot more calling about family. And I agreed to make some phone calls. Before long, it was time to take dd to youth group. Then I traveled on to a cousin's house to continue our conversation. Stayed so long it was time to pick up from youth group. Sigh. Grabbed a few things HRH wanted and by the time we were home it's really time for bed.

Was able to scan this page but am sure I missed a lot and also missed yesterday evening's. Will try to catch up soon.

I belong to a card ministry called "Sunshine Friends." For $5 a year's membership, we're sent a list of members, the holidays they wish to receive cards for, as well as Thinking of You. Each month, we're given the next month's list of b-days, etc.. to send cards to. But the lady who heads it, sends out the b-day list a month late. I've learned to look at the master list of members, read through, to get the next month's b-days, W/A dates, etc... I'm working on Oct. ones tonight, will put a post-it note on them, for what date in Oct. to mail them off. Have 3 family Oct. b-days, not counting DH, and one DGS in Nov.,too. Got out their cards, to address/sign, so we're a step ahead of that, too. Trying to work ahead on letters, cards, stories, and Christmas crochet because I'll be scheduled for a colonoscopy, possibly in Oct., since I didn't have it in the usual Sept.month, as this is my annual exam month. If I get too busy ( ) with the prep and day of the procedure, I'll have the b-day cards and stories done ahead of time, so I can rest and recuperate after the procedure, too. I've been planning this ahead since summertime, thinking ahead to October. I'll also have a bone density scan. I hope it's after the procedure. Then, if I'm tested for H. Pylori and it comes back positive, I'll be put on antibiotics for 4 months. So how is this going to work with the colonoscopy and the meds needed to be cut out prior to the procedure. Don't know, if I have H. Pylori, but if I do and need antibiotics, may need to wait on taking them until after the procedure. Just thinking out loud and trying to think ahead.

DH goes to the Dr. tomorrow to find out if he needs to administer yet more insulin on this drug study he's on. We're going to be rising early this week, as it's my week of my annual exam, too. Will get lab work done next week, as the freeway's tied up from Thurs. at 7 p.m. until Sunday night or Monday at 5 a.m. They're replacing the expansion joints on a bridge, 2 weekends in a row, with 15 - 20 mile back-ups and it'll be worst next weekend they say. So DD and DGS cannot come down until the weekend of the 27th or even later. :( :( She has a box of books to give me and what I don't want to read or need, she said I can donate them to the library or to ARC of WA. It's nice that I won't "need" to buy books for quite awhile.

My display office card for tomorrow is:
:D MOVE IT MONDAY! :D I need to move it, to burn more calories because I've been within a 7-Lbs. plateau for about 12 weeks or more now. At least I've walked again today. :P
