That session went well. Updated 4 accounts, added 87 transactions and did MPB daily gross/deposit. Slowly (OH so slowly) catching up on financial cards.

DMom called and chatted. She told me all about her project today - taking apart her one of her storm window in her bedroom, cleaning, caulking, painting and reassembling. She was talking about taking the a/c unit out of her bedroom window and moving it to another bedroom. I reminded her of her hernia. NO NO NO - leave the tugging/lifting of a/c unit to others. She is 84 years old and still out works us all....

Next up = Weekly focus. This week focus is outside building & the cellar. Today I'm going to spend my time in the cellar. Also I'm going to add mice bait to buy list - it is that time of the year (fall) where the critters are starting to come indoors.

OY, put those company eyes away! Yes, Harriet, I suspect we will get into stash and dash territory soon. For now I am using the kitchen table as an intermediate stop off.

Realized getting ready for cleaning lady s/b first priority - I can deal with patio later and perhaps delegate if dh comes home early and is agreeable. Last night he said that he's always "amazed" at how well everything comes together; my response was that I'm always deathly afraid that it won't come together! Instead of doing anything on patio, I set up a dessert table in DR with (wrinkled) table cloth and flowers. Perhaps wrinkles will fall out, if not will throw in the dryer for a bit.

This round:
-master bathroom and closet straighten up
-master bed room straighten up, put away, hide
-brush teeth, wash up face, etc. (will s2s before going to temple this evening)
-straighten dd's room and upstairs bathroom if needed?
-laundry room

bw2, I liked the quote also - the part about "degenerating into hard work" give me a little giggle. How are your girls?

Good morning had a great reading today. No carbs for dinner helped. Watering the back yd. Now. I need to work on the floors. Journaling is done. I have to restart a qt devo. Type book stalled out on that. Last night watched the tv preaching show I missed on sun.

Working on trying to get my fall routine resurected.
Left overs for dinner a stew in the crock pot.
Time to recharge this tablet.

ToddlerN arrives in an hr. Apx.

Don't hope for wrinkles to fall out. I noted (with company eyes) yesterday that the shower curtains that I'm using in the kitchen as regular curtains still are wrinkled. I've been waiting 3 months for those to fall out! (And because it is a shower curtain, I'm not sure if I can even iron that material.)

I'm s2s. Answered the phone while in the shower (!) expecting dd saying she was on her way. It was my financial advisor! Asked if I could call back....

Sometimes I wonder how stupid can I be?!

I woke up at 6:20 a.m. from the sound of drenching rain roaring upon the rooftop. I took my thyroid pill and then subsequently messed up the alarm system. I got DH out of bed, he was fixing it, when our CAT brings him a MOUSE! He says, "This ISN'T the time for you to be bringing me a MOUSE!" DH put his slipper on it, so it wouldn't scoot all over, asked me to get his welding gloves, so he could put it outside. So he did, he fixed the alarm system, and we watched the news for awhile and he went back to bed.

I might do LOL today, wash sheets, because my side is all sweaty and damp from sweat again. I'll start my pre-Conga stuff because (YIPPEE) DD & DGS are coming Saturday! They're coming for lunch. :D :D We're having Ivar's Clam Chowder and sandwiches. DD is bringing "Dave's" whole wheat bread. She said "It's REALLY DIRTY!" I said, "WHAT??? DIRTY????" She said, "Mom, that means cool or nice." Then, DGS was telling me in graphics class how one student looked at his work on the computer and said "That's SO FILTHY!" and it means neat, cool, and nice! :?:  Isn't that the oddest thing? I wonder how I can write a story about a teen who uses terms like this all the time and the parents and grandparents can't figure out what in the world he's talking about!?

I sold a short story on Sunday. I'm so happy! I've written out 1 Jan. story by hand yesterday & will work on handwriting out #2 Jan. story today.

Nancy, How is your weather? Have fun with ToddlerN. :)

Go, Twins' Mom, Go! :P You're so productive! :!:

LadyMaverick, It's great you have that focus. You're so LUCKY to have a cellar, too! :!:

DeeClutter, You've been so productive today! I hope you find jewelry! Big checks scare me, too! :o

Hi, Blessedw2! Oh, your December company will be so nice to have! :D Enjoy!

Harriet, Thanks for the Stash and Dash Tips! Great opener, too! :P

Waving to Kathryn, and those who come after me, too! Have a wonderful Hump Day doing Wednesday's work. :D

Cleaned the microwave very well. I've had some cleaning tips for that so may post in cleaning thread.

General kitchen spiffing all 'round.

Took out 2 bags of trash in time for the truck.
Took out recyclables and missed that truck. Sigh. They are all so early... ...

Laundry load spinning.

Twins' Mom, your home will be lovely for the start of the new year.

blessed, I wonder if they would enjoy some shopping, crafting? You know, you could just make a point to ask what their favorite hopes for the visit are.

hello hello...
sending hellos to all of you.

The girls are doing well D twins... dd younger now has a nice roommate.. they have had a bit of trouble bc the previous roommate put something really smelly under the rug. (they and the cleaners think) and now dd and her sweet roommate have to move out while the remove the tiles in the room bc it has asbestos maybe one to 2 weeks. If they find out what it was that was put in the room they will charge the old roommate for the costs. They also will clean out the radiator because they think she put something in there too. They are replacing the closets and the shelves and the floor. but dd says her roommate is really kind - so that in itself is a blessing! thank you so much for asking.
hope you are well!!!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Bw2, such good news about dd's new roommate. My dd has had her share of them but seems pretty happy this year with this gal, whom she's known since she started school up there. Sounds like things are good for your family!

I went on into ds' room and "faced my fears" and got it neatened up some. Dust an inch thick but I can have dcleaning lady dust, vacuum and make up beds and things should be okay in there. DD's room isn't bad either so the "bonus" room will be the only room closed off to the public. I feel a lot better since his room will at least be "presentable" as a minimum.

-clear away stuff on stairwell
-clear away stuff that came down from upstairs
-clear kitchen table (eeeeeeeck!)
-desk clean up, empty recycling below it
-see what I can do about the garage, particularly around the door into house

Dee, is it possible that you put your jewelry box under your bed? If I remember right, your dh has to lift it for you to put things or retrieve something. That would certainly be a secure place, if that's where you stashed it. Also, I have made a journal size notebook that I have titled "Now where did I put that......" I have to confess that I have yet to have entered anything into it, but it sounds good if used. I am forever putting something somewhere that I am sure I will remember it. Then when I need it, I tear the house apart looking for it. That was the purpose of the notebook and I need to use it.

Been wondering that myself, Lilac (good remembering btw!). I just can't figure WHY I would have done that, but will have dh lift it for me anyway. Have some things that were ours and some that have to go dgnephew -the remainder need to be stored under the bed. I, too, have a file on my computer named: Where is it? But have I looked there -of course not. Guess I will now -would be nice if I HAD listed it.

Editing: Well found that file, however I listed jewelry where I thought it was -BUT it was May, 2013. Darn. So I'll keep looking -will have dh lift the bed for me tonight & I'll see what's under there that I may need out of there.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
