I am getting a late start today again. I wasn't up until around 8 and have read the paper and surfed online and a 39 minute phone call this morning - very long winded friend and mostly talking about the religious school issues. She's always long winded but at least today I cleared kitchen counters and refilled meds containers while we talked.

I need to throw on clothes and walk the ddogs and get rolling:

Off the top of my head and subject to change PODA for today....
-religious school - "audit" re: who has not yet paid
-desk day, need to do a task for the temple, long procrastinated, will settle for making progress on it today
-routines
-genealogy - give myself some time...
-groceries - we need milk, may put off until tomorrow but p/u milk, bananas today

Right now:
-change clothes and walk ddogs
-s2s
-look at master to-do lists and update
-religious school spreadsheet
-call probate court to be sure they got the form I mailed week before last

Slept all night in the bed!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!:
Great, MT! Know what a triumph that can be! Did you find a website for the exercises? Inquiring mind wants to know.

What a help it is to get a good night's sleep. I've accomplished so much today. Our seats on our chairs lift for storage underneath. I've placed 2 chairs upside down on the other side of our table so had to empty those, which -you guessed it- led to a "but first". So I sorted through all the papers and mostly manuals, etc for our RV. Have found another home for those for now. That was a great -long awaiting triumph. But in the meantime I managed to make a MESS. I'm close to having things sorted again. One thing has led to another. If I can keep up my momentum I could be packed and ready well before my departure deadline. Lining things up along the back side of our kitchen counter for dh to pack in the truck.

I'm trying to get everything ready so that he won't have to move ANYTHING in order to bring in the slides. I can finish taking things out of our closet that need to be packed after the wedding on Saturday. I'll probably do that Saturday night while dh is at dgs15's race that evening. He's talked our friend from church/here into going to the race track with him Saturday night. That leaves his wife and me to come back here in her truck (for which I need a stool to get in. ). Dh will take our car.

I can hardly believe how far my packing has come. A lot is because we're narrowing down the things going back and forth. I have that large box of groceries only because he's coming in the truck -otherwise they'd be going to dks here.

I made a new dish with frozen southern style hash browns for potluck last night. It really went over well and is super easy to prepare. Just cooked away in the crock pot all day. Think next time I'll add some real bacon bits to it though. Good one to stash away for Monday nights.

Back to straightening my mess. Then I think I'll sit and go through a lot of articles I've clipped here and there. Betting I can throw away more than half! Ya' think, LucyLee?

Was it someone here that had mentioned their filing system for manuals, etc, gardening, etc? Of course I didn't copy it and now I'm ready for it. Found a bunch more manuals and gardening stuff that should be filed in a particular place. (P.S. -never mind, Harmony, I found it right away -I actually copied it and saved it -how could this be? :o ) Think the best part I gleaned from this post was the fact that you copied the receipts to file with the manual, etc as the original ones (and they do!) seem to fade over time.

BTW, do W marts in other parts of the country have the "Savings Catcher" app to give you savings if another place has something on your receipt cheaper? I was unable to download it on my phone -which is a 'smart' phone, but guess I'm due for an upgrade. DD was able to enter it on her phone however and is scanning her receipts for any potential savings. Your receipt should have that logo at the bottom -check it out. Maybe other places will jump on that bandwagon -would sure save driving all around sometimes.

DEE - saw a post on FB which reminded me of the exercises I used to do. They were from a site called Dtour which was from Rodale Press. It was a diet/exercise site that was for "Belly Busting" or reducing the abdominal area. It worked fine and I lost a bunch (which I've gained back - plus) but when they went to pay subscription I opted out. That was way back in the 5th wheel. Since there was no room to do exercises there - I used the bed and it worked well. So I'm doing it again. Now that the fatty tumor is gone - I can bend without hurting.

I'm almost done for the day except THE DEN. I'm going in - if I don't post tomorrow, you know I couldn't find my way out, :ugeek:

Dee, Have a safe trip back to Florida. :!: :D

Nancy, Glad you're feeling better today. :D

Kathryn, You've done so much moving lately! Wow! :o :D Good for you! You do so much! :!:

MT, the "Belly Busting" exercises sound interesting and like good ones, too.

Twins' Mom, WTG with working while talking to your long-winded friend. That's a great way to get 2 jobs done at once and to not feel list times wasted, too.

Booksaver, I'm glad you're feeling better today than you did yesterday. You got a LOT done this morning! :P That's great! :!:

Harmony, I'm with you! It's good to NOT be moving from one place to another! :!: :D It's such a huge undertaking!

I woke at 7 a.m., tried to sleep, but a coyote was screaming and howling a short distance from our house, so I just got up. Been working on a long letter to a dfriend who just lost her Dbro to cancer. Have a sympathy card for her, to go out today, with my letter, too.

DH is watching an old movie now, I'm on my way to use my QVAR and do my peak flow meter. I need to journal and do QT, too. I've been working on the letter, to get it into the mail today. I need to work today, on stories, on and off today. Will try to do housework, puttering, for exercise today, while I walk from room to room, doing a little of this and a little of that.

Waving to Lynlee and everyone else! :D Have a great day with many Tuesday Triumphs! :D

oh I need a tuesday triumph!!! I am still working on my garage sale - not this weekend but the following... my plan is that anything that doesn't sell goes automatically to a free garage sale or donation place.

I have decided to sell my old hoosier cabinet.. it was great while I was young but someone else can now appreciate it.

wishing you all a terrific tuesday.

I got good news - dd younger was told she broke her foot but the orthopedic surgeon said its a really really bad strain and may look broken - He doesn't think she needs surgery for tendons - so we are all happy dancing (well not her - lol mom humor that only my dd's would understand and giggle at) - So she has to have crutches and a boot until the swelling goes down.

Making some minimal progress.

I've forgotten to answer the purse questions every time I've posted lately. My current purse weighs 4.4 lbs fully loaded w phone but not iPad (I don't take iPad everywhere, only take if I think I have time to kill and a wi-fi connection.) I think this is my current purse: http://www.seatbeltbags.com/cross-body- ... -bags.html in the beautiful purple. In the purse I keep: cellphone, pens, planner (using it less as I need to write myself notes less) small wallet (for cards and folding $$ only, I don't carry change) sunglasses and case (case is large because sunglasses large), a lightweight bag that is pushed into its own very small pouch for when I need a bag at the market, a key ring with punched costco card, medical insurance cards, other affinity cards (no credit cards) and last a pencil pouch with lipstick, kleenex, wipes, bandaids, advil, lens wipes, toothpicks and some rubber bands to pull my hair back. The bag unloaded is 2.2 pounds which is quite heavy imho.

I prefer a larger bag, partly because of the darn sunglasses case, and I like to be able to carry it cross body. For going to HHD at temple or going out in the evening to a nice dinner, I often use a smaller dressy bag w just cell phone, credit card and id and a few things I might need.

So glad surgery isn't needed for your dd, bw2!

I finished up the religious school worksheet and now want to go back and look at last year. We have a lot fewer kids this year and it appears we will collect only about 70% of the tuition we rec'd last year.

Still haven't done s2s or called probate court, so will do those next.
