blame it on the computer rather than on the idiot who can't program.
I'm right there with you, MT. This morning I have sent 5 emails to our primary bank. Their new system is needing some major adjustment. I talked to them on the phone yesterday and they said they are working on it. ***taking a deep breathe*** YOU SHOULDN'T PUT A SYSTEM ONLINE AND THEN TRY TO FIX IT!!! That is what you do BEFORE you put it live. gRRRRRRRR!! One of our accounts has eleven deposits made over the past 5 days and they are all held in "pending". These deposits are a mixture of "real" money physically deposited into their hands and digital money deposited from credit card transactions. WHEN are they going to release those funds to us? No answer....
Another account has $2530.16 different between available balance and current balance. NOTHING posted on bank website to show why the difference, I did figure it out (2 bills paid) but the bank isn't showing those bills as being paid....just the money disappearing from available balance.
this is not a problem. This is just an opportunity to find a solution. repeating. repeating. repeating to myself.

Sorry about your sleep, MT! :( My Dsis lost sleep last night, too. She's in UT.

Kathryn, I like the opener! ;)

It's flu shot day for me today. I'm glad I'm getting it, because of health issues, which could turn into pneumonia, if not kept in check. DD will probably get one this year, as she just got over pneumonia and Pleurisy, both.

I finished my pink scarf last night, but it doesn't look good with my lilac cord shirt-jacket, with the shocking pink daisy on the collar. I have my pink hat on and pink/gold dream-catcher earrings though. I'm ready to edge my DGS-3.5's afghan now. After it's done, I'll put it into the hope chest and finish assembling DGD-21-months' Butterflies afghan. Need to make butterflies, sew them on, and join squares. After joining, it's edging, in pretty colors. Oh, there are so many cute-cute-cute patterns on-line for little ones. It makes deciding, for certain, which ones to do. I LOVE IT! :P

Waving to Harriet, Lucylee, Elizabeth, Harmony, Twins' Mom, LM, Blessed, and others who come after me. Have a good day with oodles of Ta-Dahs. :D

Good Morning - and Afternoon to some. :D

Yesterday I received my Hipster and I know Rosie did too as Mr. Guy talked to her and Sweetie last night. I love it! Mine is a cream color and so cute. It is going to carry just what I need when I go places like a spring training baseball game in AZ next spring. The only thing is - I did not heed Rosie's warning about possibly having to get the extra length chains and guess what! I need them. I ordered them last night. They are $3.99 but the shipping was $4.99. YIKES! Should have paid attention.

Speaking of Rosie. Does she have suggestions for LO's problem? She is so good at helping out to solve problems. And I am only half kidding, of course.

For some time now we have been wanting to try our local R ound T able to see if it has improved with new managership. It got so bad we quit going. Yelp gives it good marks now. We shall see. Just may get Mr. Guy to go with me into B ealls across the parking lot. It just opened here and I really like the store in AZ. One also opened in Carson City.

Hope everyone has a good day. :)

Good morning! My list is so long today, I am not going to post it. No one else will have room to post! Don't forget the S chlotzsky's promotion today. Free original sandwich with drink and chips purchase. No coupon needed, just show up. I am a cheapskate, both by circumstances and by nature, so that is where I am headed for lunch.

Last night, I finished sewing strips together for the Anna skirt, but was unable to get to the box pleating. Instead I spent much time with fray check and have to do more today. I have found when I am sewing, I tend to brood on things, so I am trying to retrain my brain. There is a Christian radio station that has varying talk shows at night: sermons, Bible commentary, occasionally call in shows, but mostly the first two. I am using that to reprogram my thoughts. I guess I could have watched a video, but moving the computer every time I want to sew is a NO GO.

Lovin' my new PJs.

Harmony and Kathryn: The job I did the phone interview would be LOTS closer, but I have no offer from them, just a request for a second phone interview. As of now, I have only one offer, and that is an unofficial, verbal one. This is the same one that the interviewer emailed me back to say he was trying to figure out how I would best fit in his team.

LadyM, you are way more patient than I am. I'd be livid with my bank if I had the problems you're having. Very poor management, IMHO.

Yesterday I deposited a check and held my breath while I did so. It came in one of those tear off the ends envelopes and unfold and the inside is the check...which I didn't know and I made a couple big rips across. Me and Elmer Glue fixed, thankfully no rips over amounts or routing numbers. Plus they made said check out to LLC instead of INC which should get it rejected...but they took it cheerfully without a word. Multiple emails and faxes, and 8 months later to get paid from this company, I didn't want to have to ask THEM for another check!

Got my rollers in and manicure done. Couple phone calls made. Nice email received from committee head accepting my resignation. Maybe she's glad...

Lucylee, potty training is always an annoying pita, having to run back and forth and keep an eye out...at that point one thinks diapers are easier...and at first trips out are iffy with what to do thoughts regarding training paints or back to diaper...at least now pull ups help that although the little tykes do get to realize those are just like diapers...but for sure the benefits finally come and outweigh all the trouble getting there! Good luck to you all!

Crossing my fingers for Elizabeth... BWTG the way you keep plugging away at the job search.

Lunch is made, off I go.

morning ya'll..

Well I've been busy this morning. Yesterday I made a slow cooker chicken and veggie dinner. It was good and now I don't have to worry about tonight. Also made sweetie some pumpkin cookies, just to me they taste more like a ginger snap. Doesn't really matter as they were for Sweetie and he liked them.

Did most of the laundry yesterday and stripped and remade the bed as well. Did many odd jobs as well. This morning I finished the rest of the laundry, picked up footprints and took Willis for a walk...met several neighbors along the way and had a few "catch up" conversations. Its cloudy here and the temps are in the mid-80's. The mosquitos, however are eating me alive. There are plenty of wet lands around here and we are do for another big storm tonight and tomorrow so guess I'm gonna by some repellant. We had to cut our walk short last night because they were so bad. They love me, but never touch Sweetie.

Need to work on my office again...Sometimes I'm bad about not putting back things when I get them out and my desk gets really cluttered. Need to make it my "second" sink

I hate it when the banks play with my money cause they certainly won't let me play with theirs. MT...my neighbor and I were just discussing the way some medical offices release medical information to their patiants. She was a retired nurse and griping about the same thing.

I need to focus and get some of my Ta-dahs done. This day is disappearing fast

Cya'll later................................

Bank has responded they are vigorously working on the issues that I sent them and hope to have them resolved by the end of the day.
I haven't sent them all the issues.....wonder what the chances of them being fixed without me complaining? Surely I'm not the only one that is giving them feedback.

Made chicken salad and then served it inside low carb tortilla as a wrap for lunch. So easy and good. One of my favorite weekly lunches to prepare/serve.

Watched another episode of Blue Blood with DH. We are almost through season 1. At the rate we are going it will take us the rest of the year to catch up (Season 5). No hurry. We watch an episode when we have lunch together. It is the only show we get to watch together so it feels like a treat.

While watching that show, I updated my Price book with prices for canned meats = Salmon, Tuna and chicken. These items on Shopping list now links to price book so it is easy to see where and what best price is. Slowly developing this reference information.

I've done some desk day work and some genealogy looking around. I need to kick it up, tho.

I think that supper tonight will be chili and grilled cheese, unless dh prefers going out. He is going out of town tomorrow a.m. for a Thursday FL funeral of a dfriend. I am not going - I love these folks but had scheduled trip to see dsis on Thursday and dmom & dbro are to go. I hate to change the trip out for them since they've agreed to go - Mother may start back-peddling. Also the logistics of getting dog sitting on short notice are a problem. He is coming back on Friday night.

-reboot laundry
-make the bed
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper on desk
-do religious school spreadsheet, also see if I can project teacher salary better
-respond to three (overdue) emails

Twins...

I was just reading up about the usage of lavendar oil and several comments were made about using it to calm dogs during thunder storms. Readers said they would put several drops on their hands, rub them together and then rub/pet the dog so the oil would attach itself on to their hair. Many have had good success when meds haven't helped.

And for all of you who knit or crochet...I meant to post this link for you.
