Good Morning dear Ladies,

Sunshine here.

DH and dsons are working from home today. I do seem to get less done when they are running in and out. They have a person interested in purchasing one of the cars they are selling. they do that together for some extra money. they buy cars off craigs list and fix them up, the one they are selling right now is a sporty little red car that they put a new motor in. Hope it sells.

On Friday the bank called DH to tell him his business account debit card was being used suspiciously. It was being used in a WM in Texas. Looks like someone scanned his numbers and made a fake card. They stopped one charge completely but two went through. So he can't use his business account until it is cleared up. FBI are involved, what a mess. Of course they hit it when he had quite a bit of money in it for supplies.
Hope he gets the money back.

Dbrother is walking around the kitchen now, he walks around the island for about twenty minutes. Once he is seated, I'll get going on dishes and counters. Then I'll have some ta-dahs to report.

FFriend, the outbox is the resting place for pm.s until they are retrieved by the recipient. I still have one in my outbox for ellyphant! ellyphant, check your messages! :)

BookSaver, frozen wild blueberries into the hot oatmeal, butter and a little powdered stevia. That's actually what I had this a.m.! Delish and causes the oatmeal to turn a bit violet colored, very appetizing. Frozen berries cool the hot oatmeal somewhat, so ready to eat quickly. Wild are so tiny that they are downright cute.

I have not been able to participate by the hour because I've spent my whole morning on (and just arrived home from) a distant dr's appt. I was actually there for 1 hour 15, and the drives were 45 each, so I could claim 3 hours Ta-dahs in that way, and maybe the hour before that fretting what to wear, lol (well, breakfast aforesaid). And the hour before that was school run, etc.

School today is Engineering all day, dressed for the beginning of the interview process for potential internships for the Juniors. We may not follow through even if she gets an offer, because dd is the youngest and doesn't have her driver's license as some do, and since she is young, her Daddy is dismayed by the idea of Big City. She looked very nice today in a leaf-pattern fall-colors dress and black blazer, but I could not talk her out of boots. (ankle height) Sigh. I hope they are ingrained in enough years of fashion that they won't be glaringly "off". There was a time they would have been comical for women's business attire. October here is not bad weather at all.

Harriet , So my message in my Outbox is there, because the recipient has not picked it up yet? Oh. I guess I'll post to her in another thread to let her know it's "there".

I s2s, made the bed, emptied the DW, put dirty laundry in the utility room laundry basket, posted to my writer's group, ran a scan, fixed medications for the week, and I'm on my way to work on my calendar, log a story, hand-write another story, do Christmas crochet, walk, do yoga, get in plenty of pedometer steps again today, and do light housekeeping chores. Full day for me. If I want to take a "break", I'll write a card/letter to some family members, to brighten up their day.

Have a great Tuesday Ta-Dahs! Day, Everyone!

This is just a quick C. I., as I've got a lot to do today. Will try to BBL.

I've spent the day trying to fix problems. Big file in a mess, straightened out now for the time being. Looks as if I will be dealing with this every month.

Multiple emails. Also was on hold probably 2 1/2 hours (put it on speaker phone while I worked). Thinking of Dee with her Rx problems last year. Report came that drug company did not cover any of my drugs, and ins. agent had assured me it would. Phone call to insur. co which is my drug plan put me on that long hold.

Lots of things wrong around here needing repair, etc., I'm not getting any water out of the spigot which attaches to the RO under-the-sink system. Found another blind not opening, probably another cord failure. DH took a door off the hinge and turned off our a/c system. Long story. Everything just feels ugly around here.

I did hear from my friend Sandi, she spent most of yesterday getting her pegs retightened, moved, and she is in a great deal of pain now. I am taking her meals down late afternoon when she is back from MRI.

Trip to HD to pick up something, I have a chore needs done around here.

Ta-dah's so far today:

8-9: S2s, meds, Breakfast, bed made
9-11:30: At church working, filled the car with gas (It's $2.82 here now), drove home & have my apron on.
11:30 - 1:45: Lunch, picked up all surfaces in our room, the living room, entryway, and dining room
Spent 12 minutes with my timer, working cleaning up/out the office (have that listed for a couple more rounds today)
2:00 -2:10: Called T ime W arner to put our internet on seasonal hold for the winter (big TA-DAH!)
got detained, talking to DH -sure we will more than once over the next couple of days. He plans to get out of NY State BEFORE the frozen mix hits on Friday -definitely hope he does. Now need to pray that DB/DSisIL make it up there before it hits as well.
2:15-2:45: Off to clean up the kitchen, put away clean dishes, make coffee & perhaps wash what dishes there are Ta-dah! Done

Hope things go from 'ugly' to at least 'fair', Harmony.

Hello to everyone!
I have a feeling just getting s2s is going to be a HUGE ta-dah for me today. I just can't get going... stomach is sorta "iffy" -- not really related to my nerves, I don't think, just ordinary (although I've never been diagnosed, it is quite obvious that I have some form of IBS, similar to dmom).
I did write a check to pay allergy doctor bill, have that ready to mail.
Did Bible reading.
Called dmom but she did not answer. Probably gone out to get her lunch.

Dgs will be here for an hour or so tonight, while ddil goes to choir practice and dgs sings w/gospel quartet on local tv program.

I need to walk... but stomach feels "iffy."

(((Harmony)))

Harriet, I am sure dd will look perfectly normal to those who interview high schoolers regularly. Those little ankle boots seem to be all the rage these days.

Also, sending (((hugs))) to all of you who are speaking of the problems of having men underfoot. Welcome to my world.
However, today dh is playing golf, so I should be taking advantage of my home alone time... but I just don't feel all that great.

Should remember Joyce Meyers' advice: You can do the RIGHT thing, even when you feel WRONG.

I will try to be more cheerful when I return.
Tomorrow is another day.

Well, now I know all you are probably sick of me and my sports, but guess what? I don't care!

GO GIANTS! They can do it tonight. If not, they can call in Bumgarner (of BumTown, North Carolina  ) He can do it.

Mr. Guy and I were up pretty early, went to breakfast at our favorite place and then picked up some C rystal L ight ice tea for tonight. Pizza, Wings and Baseball at our house again.

SADIE, I don't think you have to worry about your money. You will get it back.

Have a nice day! :D
