helia, I can see that you are busier than you were last year with 3 teenage girls at home. I would definitely get some cleaning help, since you have such an unlimited time at home. And yes, the dog is a she, Ruby. I'm so glad that you come here when you have a chance.

Get busy, get busy, get busy.........

Well, Shucks! The Giants sent their Little League team last night and got beat. What are they doing? Tonite is another nite, but I wanted it over. Since we are all tired of pizza and wings it will be the old colonel's fried chicken and Banana Cream Pie. (Not that I need either. Will probably bow out on that.)

I have "flu shots" on my calendar but don't know that I will get out to do that. I have other things to get done. Maybe tomorrow I will "Wanna".

Have a nice day all! Oh, before I forget, Elizabeth, so happy for you. I am sure you will do very well. :D

Our church has a sh utter f ly site for the replacing of the roof project (and redoing the inside of the sanctuary -completely). All I can say is WOW! It's so nice to be able to see what's happening on that corner even though I'm 1300 miles away. Hope dh got by to at least peek at it. It's amazing to watch. They built the roof in sections in the parking lot and had to schedule a crane and rigger to remove the old roof on Monday and to put the new one in place. Looks like they've done a very meticulous process. Our history books will be swimming with photos and videos!

My Wednesday Wanna
is going to be a nighttime donna!
I'm addressing Christmas cards today~
to just get them OUT OF THE WAY!
I always do this prior to Halloween.
I've always been keen
on doing them early as I can do
them, so out to the mailbox I can shew
then. I know it's totally nuts!
But some of us get into last-minute ruts!
We put it off day after day
and all-of-a-sudden, we're aghast and say,
"I need to get my cards done real fast!
I just don't know where time goes & then it's past!"
So, yes, it might be crazy, to get them done today.
But they'll be done & done they'll stay.
This is my Wednesday wanna.
It's something I'm donna! :D

Have a GR8 day, Everybody! Just a quick C. I. to say hello! You're all so productive today, already! WTG ALL of you!

Waving to every one. I kept moving for 30 min. First thing swept the carport and spiffed up and picked up boxes got them out of here so it looks better now. Then toddlerN showed up so I was able to spiff the kit. And got the bed made. So I am happy that I have made some progress now.

I have a couple of errands later on hope to get to them.

I have a plan for dinner.

There's nothing much going on with the Sunny House today, I just wanted to say hello to everyone. It is a nice autumn day here; temp is 81* and just a few clouds moving in.

We were on the move early this morning. Ds#2 called last evening to see if we could do a school run with dgd12. It seems like this will be a routine on Monday and Wednesday for a while. Ddil's daunt had been doing this for a couple of years, but her recent dr. appointments have led to a need for surgery on her shoulder soon. She will not be able to drive and then have rehab so will not be available for the school run for quite a few months.

We ate breakfast when we got home this morning and I fed the dogs while dh swept the driveway. Sometime during the night some wild critter dug into the lawn, not making a hole, but scraping a 2-foot streak with grass and dirt on the driveway. I got the kitchen cleaned up, bed made, living and dining rooms picked up and dusted. We opened the bags of Halloween candy and filled 8 baggies to give to dgkids when we see them next.

Lilac.... it's nice to see you here. Sorry dh isn't feeling well. Is he still excited to be retiring? It sounds like dd's dog is slowly heaing. I hope dd hears good news at Ruby's vet appointment.

Dee.... it sounds like dh's test was for routine info for his file. It's exciting to be able to follow your church's construction progress.

Helia.... I enjoy your posts when you are able to get here. You really are a busy lady, but all very worthwhile and satisfying!

Norma.... (and others who watch).... Good luck for your team tonight. My ds#2 and family will be watching, but I don't remember what team they're rooting for. They are more fans of ice hockey, baseball and soccer than football!

Kathryn.... hope your stomach settles.

Hello to Nancy, Twins, BookSaver, Blessed, Harriet, Harmony, LadyM, FF and RRose, Lucy et al etc.........(trying not to miss anyone!); hope you all are having a good day.

I've been watching some of the news about the rocket launch last night and the lava flows in HI. I feel like taking a nap, but first I'm going to grab a notebook and calendar and write up some things I "wanna get done" by the end of the year There is a very slight possibility that ds#3 and family might be here for Christmas; but they are also planning on spring vacation next year!

Did my first fitbit neighbourhood walk. The other woman has anxiety issues (that's why she doesn't work and was available for a daytime walk) and said she left the house 4 x and turned back 3 but finally drove by, checking me out on the sidewalk and then parked her car! She had her anxiety meds in her pocket and was rather pleased she didn't have to take them. (This all came out at the end of the walk!)

We walked for just under an hour plus my time to and from the meeting point. She took me to an area with gorgeous old houses. So pretty with the tree lined streets. About 70% of the leaves are done but it was still pretty (but felt way colder than the actual temp so I was cold the whole walk.)

We'll go out again. Now for me to get the other person, who I already know suffers from depression, to join us.

I was starving when I got home, made a big lunch and then realized I shouldn't eat it yet (it was still under 2 hours since my pill) but I did, even though calcium and iron were involved in the meal.

I'm overstuffed now and feeling uncomfortable. It really seems as if calcium taken too close to the pill upsets my tummy badly. I know it is supposed to interfere with absorption but nothing I've read said it should make me sicker.

This may be a post and run from my new JOB. I have a few minutes before getting a new computer. Not nearly enough to start another training session. This morning, I got to the train station in plenty of time BUT, when I got there, the train was already there! So, I made a mad dash across the parking lot hoping to catch it. Upon arriving, I realized (1) it was the southbound train, rather than the desired northbound (2) my lunchbox was AWOL and not enough time to go back to the car. I began making alternative lunch plans while morosely scanning the parking lot, and FOUND it about 30 feet away, and retrieved it.

Today, at payroll, is paperwork and training. I have already found and reported errors in two training slides!

I may lose some needed weight soon. I don't have enough time to eat lunch out and I don't get back home in time for leisurely dinners at restaurants. Also, the mad dash to the train helped!

Tonight, I must get to the grocery store. I have almost run out of trick or treats. No, I have not eaten them myself. I used them at the church's Trunk or Treat. I have no idea what I am having for dinner!
