I cleaned out my entry hall china cabinet. It holds my cut crystal dishes, vases, platters, etc... collection. I have about 5 things, on the top shelf, which are red glass. I put them together, to shine, for the holidays. When company comes, we turn on the sconces and ceiling hall lights, to shine up the entry way, so the china cabinet sparkles. Today, my hands are so stiff and so sore! I gave up crocheting about 2 - 3 days ago. I NEVER have hand pain like this! EVER! So, the only thing I can think of, is that with lifting crystal items, spraying Windex, and wiping, then putting everything back, I just wore out my little hands! DD had taken Occupational Hand Therapy, because of her job, in an office, so SHE showed me ALL of her PT hand exercises!!!! WHOOPEE!!!! Isn't that JUST SO NICE???? I'll do those stretches today and she said if pain gets bad, you can always soak in warm water, too.
My plan today, was to clean out my dining room china cabinet, but NOW I am thinking about taking a hand-held Swiffer duster, and just dusting the shelves, lifting items in baby steps, so I won't overdo. People will be looking at all THAT FOOD on the eating bar and NOT the china cabinet anyway!!!
DH will go to town today, for last minute groceries. I'll putter in baby steps, but it my hands won't improve, I'll be doing a reading catch-up!
Waving hello to (I'll TRY to remember everybody! I get "Fibro Fog", from Fibromyalgia, so I "forget" names/things).... Waving to
Nancy, Helia, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Blessed, Dee, LadyM, Twins' Mom, Booksaver, CathyS, Sunny, and to Harmony, when/if you arrive today, and I'm thinking of Sadie, too! Oh! Lucylee, too!Lilac!
How did I do? I hope I didn't leave anybody out! I get so embarrassed, when I leave out people, but it's like a brain fart, or something like that, and I just CANNOT recall EVERY name, especially when they're on another page, too. Anyway, this is one primary reason I write stories--- It's because it's good for my mind/brain to work, it encourages memory and mind-work!
