Yep... it's Saturday. Amazingly, I have a tiny bit of progress to report.
After dh brought home breakfast, I put a load of laundry in (jeans, etc. I need for trip) and went back to bed. HOWEVER, I set my timer for 50 minutes, so I would be sure to hang the jeans to dry.
Jeans hanging to dry, stripped the bed, sheets in washer, set the timer for 50 minutes, went BACK to bed w/a quilt.
Sheets in the dryer, another load in the washer, set the timer for 50 minutes, went BACK to bed... are y'all noticing a pattern here?
Last load hanging to dry, sheets piled on the end of the bed... did NOT set the timer... went BACK to bed.
I have watched the first and last few minutes of Big Valley, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Rawhide, The Rifleman, and Wanted Dead or Alive.
:P IN MY DEFENSE -- I am still struggling w/this crud. Cough cough cough. I do not think this medicine is doing the trick.
And my sympathies to Ken & Kathryn and anyone else who has it.

But now, although sheets are STILL piled on the foot of the bed, I have
* spent some time organizing an OMM list and transferring to cards, as directed in The Happiness File
* s/s all three toilets
* cleaned dh's shower
* text messaged w/dbro re: movie time tonight -- he and gf are going with us to see Big Eyes
* took dgs's carseat out of the SUV
* turned on all the Christmas lights -- I like to keep doing that until at least New Year's Day.

We won't put away Christmas till we get back. DH sorta likes to leave it up till Epiphany anyway, and since I'm no longer having to rush back to the school day routine, I don't mind. I'll be glad when it is all put away, though, I think. In other ways, it sorta makes me sad to be done with Christmas and starting the new year. I'm a little bit excited and motivated to start the new year "right" and do better... but then I get kinda down on myself, and think, yeah, right... how many times now have you tried to "start over" and failed. * sigh *

Lots of * stuff * on my mind... some of it I just have to put on a prayer card and try to keep my mind from wandering away from faith that His will be done.

I am amazed at children who nap. DGS only naps when he has fought sleep so long he is just beside himself. How do you manage to get TWO to sleep at the same time, LadyM?

No snow here for sure... I went out to do the carseat in a tshirt, cotton pants, and houseshoes, and it wasn't really uncomfortable. Hmmm... weather says 51 degrees and flash flood watch. We have really gotten a lot of rain in the past week or so. Looks like the low temp tonight is around 50. DH says if we get snow it will be while we are gone, LOL. He LOVES winter, and the last time we had a really big snow, we were in Arizona, in short-sleeve weather.

Dmom was talking about that fireplace "show" on Hallmark or something, Kathryn. She said she could watch it all day.

I guess I should s2s and get the sheets back on the bed.

On & off rain here today.

Got fabric requirement measured to make a comforter, in twin-size, for myself. Made a "to-get" list, and PODA's ahead. Upcoming busy week.

Did 2 LOL, got them put away.

Printed up a couple of Valentine's potholder patterns. I liked the Country Love one the best. ♥

Kitty cat's sleeping on my side of the bed.

Have a Gr8 night and good sleep and wonderful Sunday, too.
