I am showered and ready to take dh to the ER. He is in the shower. He really tried to avoid this, but now his ear is throbbing. I hope they can help him without having to admit him, but whatever it takes.

Taking a break, eating some popcorn and popping in here. 2 pops. . LOL!

((Lilac and dh)) I hope that the solution is simple and he doesn't have to be admitted.

I got my a.m .routine done this a.m. and also got to the groc. store and back. Roads were more slushy than icy by that point, and it was plain raining. I'm not sure what is happening now, but it looks like the trees have ice on them. I've put away all the groceries and chatted briefly with dfriend B who called about walking together Wednesday. I'm not sure; I'll have to wait until I get my work schedule Tuesday. 2nd lol is ready to put in the washing machine.

Next:
- update laundry
- look over Qs for mentee
- figure out how to Skype with her. Dh has said I can use his laptop.
- Skype with her 3 - ? No later than 4:30, I hope

It is lovely here. 89° but it doesn't feel that warm at all since the humidity is down. And there is a light breeze. I admit the snow is pretty, but I don't miss the cold and slush.

Dee, about our trip, trying to stay off I4, we got on 429 but it is South and of course eventually we want to go West. Right away we got to the 408 exits and one was west and the other east. Neither of us saw that we could stay on 429, so DH got off on 408 west which dumped us off just past downtown. We will try that again, but only when we truly understand how we are going. That would cut off a lot of traffic to take that all the way down past Disney.

LadyM, wonder if LO's anxiety was from DGD being there and then gone? Or from the move? I hope he figures all that out, alsohope the MPB has no more repairs needed.

Lilac, how is DH? I hope he didn't have to stay.

DH is still very ill, feverish and coughing a lot. He has cabin fever and has been puttering around outside a bit, just tired of laying in bed. This is bad since he has a long job scheduled for Monday and we were to move trucks sunday evening. sigh...

I slept in this morning. Watched a Dis ney movie, just relaxing for a while. Then I folded a LOL and then did some work at my desk. I put 2014 on 2 checks. I am looking at the Christmas decorations around here :? perhaps I should start putting things away... all 3 of us in the immediate neighborhood had outside Christmas lights on last evening! It still looks so pretty. Neighbor's family is here.

Finally finished with that round - did walk with ddogs in steady light rain and dMacs certainly does take his time. :o May need to change my socks.

Going to take a break now. Have done most of a.m. routine except laundry (ds is doing his) and s2s.

Lilac, hope that they are able to send dh back home with some relief this afternoon.

I drive the stretch of I-75 between Atlanta and Macon often and it can be quite sluggish.

I'm with Harmony on wondering about LO's anxiety, LM. Yes, might be dd, might be the move or dgd3 being there. Or might not be any one of those things, either. Glad that the heat repair was successful for now, and that your dh has a break in the MPB issues. Will this effect the sale of the MPB?

Healing thoughts for Mr. Harmony.

Helia, good idea on using Skype to tutor.

bw2, only the "menfolk" are going to the basketball game. I get the night off. I'm glad your girls are working things out on their own.

Nancy, will your snow refreeze tonight with more coming? Shoveling is hard exercise as I'm sure you know.

Love the card, Harriet!

even better d twins :D enjoy

I am heading out to office max ta ta

Yes the girls worked it out after calling me... :D ; but today everyone is sad that the family is leaving esp. family that is leaving ;) :D lots of hugs and love today which is good. Boredom, high expectations, stress, not enough money to do what they all wanted, not having equal say and equal money donated to the same activities because lack of knowledge of what things cost., not enough cars to go in all the directions they all wanted to go and too many of the same age all together can make life interesting :D :D :D But I wouldn't trade it... even though it has been interesting. I would do things differently next time... like setting up a pot that activities would be equally divided (this way they can see what they can and can not do based on finances), have them plan the week, approximately, ahead of time to get what everyone wanted to do, and try to have them on the same page for expectations.
