Got the most important report written.

Sent off some emails.

Got to the pool. Am exhausted now and would love a nap but that won't happen.

Picked up rice so I can finish cooking the chowder I started last night.

The rice will be ready in a moment. I have to quickly combine and heat all the chowder ingredients and then head off for my afternoon stuff.

Missed ds. He had a dental emergency today and ended up at the dentist for a numbing shot and is now back there for the work to be done. Says he's never felt such pain before in his life. Poor dear, he was just starting to get ahead financially and thinking about starting to pay me back. This will wipe out all his cushion.

After taking LO to school this morning, DH and I headed to town for our yearly eye checkup. DH is keeping his diabetes under control and didn't have anything show up in his eye exam today. YEAH! However, I have a haze developing in my left eye. I had cataract surgery years ago so this is a secondary cataract. REally?!?! Ugh. I didn't ask many questions because it caught me off guard. I did come home and read about it. Thankfully the treatment appears to be is quick & easy (laser). They wanted to know if I was ready to wear glasses because my nearsighted vision is getting worse. I told them if it at a point that it was absolutely necessary then I would wear glasses, but if left up to me .....I pass. I'm guessing this will be my last year without glasses so I best be getting my mind ready for them. I do wear readers sometimes usually late at night or when doing paperwork for hours at a time.

The doc asked if we wanted reversal drops (both of us were dilated) but we opted to not get them. I didn't even know reversal drops were available since this was the first time they were offered. Sam's/WM is within a 1/2 mile of our doctor office so we did our shopping while waiting for our eyes to get back to normal. Then we made a stop at bank to close out one of the church checking accounts, ate at ABC, and went to the county courthouse to file business personal taxes and move the homestead exemption to the Birthday House. Oh, and also went to the post office and mailed coat to DGD3.

All that only took 5 hours. Not too bad.

What is the next right thing? HUm.....so many things to be done. Most important would probably be calling to see why they haven't sent us a bill for BH insurance.

Good afternoon everyone! I just lost a long post. I think I will just retype the highlights.

I did call the court and got a complete shock! They don't have any record of the modification of child support I sent November 2014. They never sent signed copies, because there are no signed copies. The last thing they have is the temporary modification. I am not behind on any payments, because the payments are $0.00 during the underemployment/unemployment period. However, according to the agreement, we were supposed to reassess when I got a job. Which we DID, but what happened to the paperwork??? I left a message to find out what happened.

Whatever happened, I can certainly prove I have been acting in good faith. A quick scan of my bank statements will show I have been making the payments I thought I was supposed to. A check of the bank's database will reveal I set up recurring payments in the agreed upon amount extending right up until the end of the payment period, 72 payments I think. I will probably have to resubmit the paperwork, which will be a pain in the tailbone because we both have to sign and get it notarized.

The reason I checked all this was that the mortgage company wanted the document for my refinance. I will be sending the old one, which apparently is still in effect.

:o :o :o ACK!!! :o :o :o

In better news, my boss liked my video and told other trainers to see it. I am now ready to do the next one.

Thank you Kathryn & Ken for fixing the SQL aut-oh!!!

I spent an hour on the phone going round and round with insurance comapnay but finally got a solution. THANKfully I hung in there seeking an answer that satisfied me or the BH insurance would have fallen through the cracks. I called insurance company this afternoon and asked why we hadn't received a bill. They said because you don't owe anything. I told them we bought this house a month ago and only paid the initial $200 of the insurance premium at closing. They looked at their records again and insisted that we didn't owe anything. HUM....I kept on asking questions until they finally said their records showed the premium was going to be paid by the mortgage company. Rot-oh. We don't have a mortgage company. The insurance person assured me that we did (!!!!!) and I assured them that we didn't. We finally solved it by getting our bank on the phone and had a three way phone conversation. The bank has a lien on the BH but no mortgage. Finally got that cleared up and the insurance company "allowed" me to pay the yearly premium for BH insurance. Strange coincidence but after I hung the phone up, an inspector for the same insurance company showed up at our door to measure & take pictures of the house (and dogs). All's well that ends well - BH insurance is now paid and has been inspected.

The next right thing (for me) to do is the bathrooms weekly cards.

hello waving...
hi d lady - d elizabeth - d twins - d harriet - d lucy - d helia - d kathryn - d harmony - d lilac et all!

what's not working: I didn't realize that I still have multiple projects (some wish/some current) small and large. I only have one craft going, but I have a couple wish crafts I would like to do... I bought project file holders and found out I have the following - that aren't photo projects

1. quilt tree skirt (so far a wish for many many years)
2. xerox dietician forms at kinko (errand)
3. school.. get forms etc. to cancel dorm A+
4. taking picture I painted 2 years ago and frame it (errand and money)
5. dog training - I have been putting it off
6. holiday cards - if helia doesn't mind I will call them new years cards and letters (time project... needs breaking it down in workable bits)
7. laminate 2 notes that dd's made for me when they were little that are beginning to wear and tear (I carry them in my purse) errand
8. Thank you card for d uncle and d cousins from France (mini)
9. write letter to cousin and principal who is retiring (mini no project folder)
10. make the book for d friends little boys (I make it like the spot books but with pictures of the family mixed in doing things the family likes to do)

Also learned I am a planner of reading books: Promising myself not to buy another book until I read the last or donate it ... I have 3 right now. I joined good reads - oh the temptation. I follow a young woman from Germany, with beautiful English language skills, who recommends books she has read (interesting). I can see I have to curb my impulse to buy new books. ;) :D - first book to finish One Nation by ben Carson

I like the project folder idea! Good way to track them. POTB!

During recent phone conversation with DMom she kept reminding me of various projects that she thinks I need to do. I listened and listened and listened....finally I stopped her and gently reminded her that I am currently MAXED out just keeping up with normal doings along with ongoing projects. There is NO WAY I'm going to start a "nice to do" type of project until I finish some that must have my continual focus.

Bathrooms are now sparkling. Rugs are finishing up in the washer. I'm thrilled to have twice the # of bathrooms than we used to have......but that also means twice the amount of cleaning is required.

Dinner was easy. Sourdough bread from ABC along side a Broasted chicken from SAm's.

Next up = 10 papers processed

I would not have known our site had a "moment" except that Dee emailed me to ask about it. She was much more aware than I.

Spent the day somewhat intent on accomplishing a lot of focus cleaning and decluttering. Had started into bathrooms, but I didn't know until 4 yesterday that company was coming today, so had been in the master, not the company bath. I definitely spent a lot of time in there today.

Thank you for the kind thoughts about visitor.
blessed, we are not really too stressed. HRH knows my frustration is not directed at him. He is playing tag-team with me as far as putting a little distancing between friend and me/dd. Today dd and I left for the mall shortly after friend's arrival and then brought supper back for the guys. Tomorrow, HRH will take friend out to shop at the computer store for some ditsy stuff, which will break up the time.
Kathryn, I pondered your suggestion from last evening. I think my problem has something to do with control, so may not be rational. The thought of closing myself off waiting on a timer, wet-headed, while a visitor is being hosted in my home, gives me a feeling of vulnerability and discomfort. So I think the morning will be better.

The mall was a lot of walking and helping dd find disappointment. Sigh. I was saying give the big dept stores a chance, but they did not live up to my hype. Even so, the relatively large Juniors stores along the mall were also just not quite right. The manikins were dressed ideally - all in the very last size WaySmall garments with no others like them. Shopping is hard! We didn't buy a thing.

:D d Harriet! - my dd's have noticed the same as your dd when it comes to shopping esp. for dresses. Also they may have nice dresses on display but some oh too reviling selections on the inside of the stores.

Harmony, I guess I should have said that dh is over the influenza. But one of his ears is causing him problems and he can't hear out of it. We went to the ER on the 3rd and they gave him a RX for an antibiotic. He finished it today and his isn't any better He is going to the walk-in clinic in the morning. We will probably end up back at the specialists office out of town.

Yesterday while at the dr., I told them I needed a mammogram. They gave me the authorization paper so I could make the appt. It was suppose to be tomorrow at 8. It is now moved to Thursday morning at 7:30.

It is a good thing that the appt was moved because now I need to be ready to go to the dentist office after I call them. When I was eating supper, that stupid temporary came out. I washed it and put Vaseline where the glue is suppose to be and stuck it in my mouth. I could have done without seeing the mess he made out of 3 teeth. 2 are totally gone and the back one has been decreased in size. On top of that it all looks raw. Dh told me that they might not be able to get me in. I told him they WILL get me in. They can't leave me with a temporary bridge for another 20 days, that is stuck in with Vaseline. They had told me a year ago when I started having issues with that crown, that if it ever came out to use the Vaseline until they could glue it. We were getting ready to go on vacation and I asked what to do if it came out. I think I will take it out before I go to bed. I do not want to swallow it or choke on it while sleeping.

When dgd5 cut her bangs, she also whacked on the length. Dd2 trimmed it. She was going to cut it at the shortest piece but dgd18 suggested she angle it, since it was on the side. It looks cute but makes her look older. The back is just below shoulder length. Her hair also looks darker. Dd2 jelled the 1 inch or less bangs and then twisted them in with her hair and put barrettes there and it looks like it is suppose to be that way, not just a fix.

Dh and I had went to M enards and H ome De pot, late this afternoon. So by the time we were done, we just picked up Chinese food.

I baked 3 loaves of banana bread today and took a loaf to each of the girls. They were going to bundle up and go for a "polar walk" tonight. I was invited but declined. If I need a heavy coat and gloves, I don't want to be out walking. Especially with this tooth issue. The cold air makes it hurt.

Meant to say to Lilac that it is no surprise to us that you were able to write such a meaningful letter of sympathy to your doctor.
