Nothing like a 'deadline', Kathryn!
Finished putting away the clean dishes and doing the dishes up from last night and this morning. Also cleaned 'well' behind the sink.
Now I'm getting hungry again. Forcing myself to wait until 'lunchtime' though.
Have a lol going. Should be almost time to switch it. Dsonil has taken to using the washer as his clothes 'hamper' which means that it has to be emptied in order to do a load of wash. At least I don't have that problem up home. Never did even at the house. Another thing I never have been able to do is to take someone else's laundry out of the dryer without folding it. May not always be the same as they'd fold it, but it's folded. Otherwise the dryer would be the clean clothes 'closet'.
DXdil, when they lived with us, was famous for leaving a load in the dryer, which I would fold before I put ours in. But that was not the case if she came in and a load of mine had finished drying while I was gone. I would have them in a heap on the dining room table. Not that I really expected her to fold my clothes, but..........
Need to get up and do a few laps around the inside of the house. One lap is nearly 100 steps, so it's a good number.

Bulletin is finished and sent. I've s2s and had breakfast. Now to have a bit of lunch and dry my hair before heading off for choir.

hi everyone - I am sitting at a two story Starbucks (they bring the coffee in a mug to your table and have appetizers and wine/beer after 4 pm - we definitely don't have this at my Starbucks near my house - lol) doing paperwork - first day taking the train and it was much easier than driving but a bit more expensive as we had to take a taxi from Ogilvie train station.
I am hoping I can get rid of this paper work as I want to go to the Newberry Library and the Harold Washington Library as well as visiting some free galleries. If it gets warmer this week I might even go on a walking tour to see some architecture.

Have heard from ds29 and ddil but not from dd herself about the reaction, and her dr is in charge today of course. The three of them were weighing the pros and cons into the evening, of a dose of benadril while nursing. IE, do you decide to pump the milk and discard for a while, or is that unnecessary, etc. It is nice to have an RN and EMT in the family. The two of them were not alarmed, but I just wish I could be present with a child when things go wrong rather than hearing about it on the phone.
My biggest contribution was affirming that she has never had a penicillin allergy before, even though ds has been allergic since a course of amoxicillin when he was 4. Ds says adult onset of allergy can come because of a longer duration of exposure, and that goes along with dd's extended, lower-dose course this time because she is nursing.
Lilac, how nice you had a sweet thought from your dh to read. Happy Anniversary to you two.
Emptynester is missed.
Orange, Dee? Not exactly a blending color for most paint jobs, is it? But I think most people just don't really see license plates. Unless they "say" something that compels you to try to sound it out, you just don't notice.
dd16 just emailed and is pouting. She has all male teachers this semester, and being observant may not be a strength here. 
Her 2nd period teacher keeps missing that she is in class and marking her absent. She went to him today about being counted absent yesterday, and he just said outright that he never noticed, doesn't remember seeing her at all (though he does believe her). She is frustrated because part of the grade is participation so she can't stay invisible. She says, "He completely forgets I am a person!" 
Whatever happened to that little girl who used to get conduct demerits for talking all day?

blessed, it sounds like fun to be in the big city and have so many things to do there.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR. & MRS. LILAC!
DH is out working so I have a quiet house to myself. I am digging out my desk, have written a stack of checks, did a send-off insurance audit, a batch of forms to a state office, also made 2 phone calls and a fax sent. I probably have another couple hours of work there to do but then I should be all caught up for a change.
Got some of the kitchen cleaned up. House has deteriorated; I need to find some time & energy to attend to that.
Harriet, thinking about DD with the reaction. Just what she doesn't need while nursing!

Harmony, it sounds like you are feeling better. You have accomplished a lot today. Make sure to rest later. Dh and I both experienced this while recovering. Once we felt a little better and tried to do something, then downhill we went again.
Harriet, I really felt your anxiety last night. It is so hard when your child is sick and you can't be there. My girls are both aware that no matter how old they may be, their mom always wants to be in the loop, where they are concerned. When dd2 lived away for 9 years, it was always so hard when she needed me and I couldn't be there. She has lived here 8 1/2 years and I still appreciate the fact that she moved back.
It is way after my early lunch and I still haven't colored my hair, so I better get on that.

Harriet too bad that teacher can`t have some time for a more official roll call.
ToddlerN is here better today much more chipper so that is good.

Hello Dear Ladies,
Hoping Harriet's daughter is feeling better.
The temps are beginning to fall into the 50's today but still sunny.
Paid some bills, dishes, laundry.
Swept and mopped kitchen floor today. It really needed it badly. My back started complaining toward the end but I just kept going.
Did my pulley work-out and showered.
Had lunch.
Going to rest and then off to work.
