I tried a individual pkg. Of Avacado Ranch brand wholly guacamole minis they were out of avacadaos at the store the produce guy recomended these @ W-mart great with salad or with omlette for breakfast. Scrumptious & yummylous!

I have chili ready to put in the crock pot for dinner.
Dgd can help make cholate muffins for breakfast tomorrow and wanted to mix up some pudding too.

I cleaned the chickens run and got freash water for them.
bed is made I need to get laundry going also.

Darn!!!! I did something completely 'dumb' -probably Tuesday BEFORE the trash recyclers came! There had been an opened package on the coffee table that had held dsonil's "sunpass" for toll roads in FL. DD had bought for him a few weeks ago and had registered it online to his car. The ripped open package had been there for some time -I picked it up the other day, glanced at it and put it in the recycling bin -evidently BEFORE the bin went out. They were headed for Apopka and started looking for his sunpass. DD said it had been on the coffee table -it's a 'stick on' pass and evidently was still in the package. I'm feeling like a complete dud right now and feeling pretty bad about the whole thing. Will mean they have to stop at each toll booth on the way there and she'll have to buy a new one (which I will pay for -in fact dh and I may leave for dinner early and go buy the new one) and take the other one off the registry and register the new one. Mostly my fault -but how I wish they would pick some things up -especially dsonil, the king of all procrastinators. My tummy is doing great somersaults again!

I normally just stack any papers together neatly -cause they are usually scattered all over the kitchen, entryway, dining room, living room, but this was the ripped open packaging and I knew she'd had it out to register it. Not making excuses. Think my days of straightening and picking up are done -it's oh so time to go north.

Dh and I just finished cleaning out the car (not much of that to do) and he vacuumed it. I wiped down the little receptacles on all the doors and all the door sills. Anything loose (not much) is now in the trunk. Took us all of 10 minutes.

Had a very "rough" night, but everything's been resolved by me now, when I finally did that song thing, "LET IT GO!"

Dee , I'm sorry that happened, about the recycle and the pass. I know we're all human, feel down on ourselves, a lot of times, when we think we've "blown" it. I think it's human nature. Sometimes, I "see" something, but it doesn't "register" in my mind, until it's too late. Then, I beat myself up about it.

Kathryn , That's funny about the light fixtures. It reminds me of when our old house was built in 1975. The dining room light fixtures were descending on a large black chain, from the ceiling, but the electricians left them attached with plastic fasteners, up about a foot higher, than they were supposed to be. They didn't know the bulbs and the silver arms attached to them, were supposed to hang down. They were so surprised, when DH told them, "Oh, didn't you know? This fastener doesn't belong here." He fixed it, and it was like an "Ah-Ha" moment for the workers and we all had a good laugh about it.

Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time sorting through some tote bags full of papers. Result: half can be recycled, and I took them out to the garage this today so they are permanently out of the house. As Nony at A Slob Comes Clean says: Yay, me! *\o/*

I am continuing to sort and declutter. That is my main focus this weekend.

Another victory: During a break yesterday, I sat down at my desk chair and happened to glance at a stack of things to my left. Lo and behold, there was my P-touch label maker which I've been searching for since last autumn. I'm sure I have looked at that spot many, many times before and the machine wasn't there, but suddenly it appeared when I wasn't looking for it. Of course, I don't need it right now, but I'm glad it has surfaced and I will figure out a better place to store it.

I think I'll take a coffee break and cuop. BRB.

Today is our last nice weather day before the next winter weather hits. It is 60 with bright sunshine and very little wind. Soooo our moving madness continues....in between other activities. For a brief few moments (10 minutes) DH and I were both at the old house loading up vehicles. However, DH had to return to MPB. I finished loading the pickup and trailer and brought that load home along with my 2 *helpers*. I was able to unload everything myself. This load had several big items - a desk, wood chipper, 2 lawn mowers, a power washer and about a dozen boxes. I didn't intend to do the whole thing myself, but just started and was soon done.

Stopped moving so DGD3 could take a much needed nap. While waiting for her to wake up, I've cooked pork chops and spare ribs (separately). Also put 8 individual meal size packages of hamburger meat into the freezer.

There's been little view all day but now basically there's no view.

The local radio station tweeted 2 - 5 cm forecast this morning. Then a few hours later upgraded that to 5 - 10 cm, not they are saying 10 - 15 but I figure there must be 15 (6") down. My living room window sill, 22 floors above ground has 6" on it. That actually amuses me a lot! There's at least 3" on the balcony railing.

Dh and I watched a couple of movies through the afternoon. I think it was more a chance to cuddle on the couch. I brought in a pillow and snuggled against him.

BTW: he thought I forgot to get on the treadmill and was pleased to hear I was on for 25 minutes, on incline and up to 3.2 mph. He said he didn't hear a thing. That's a relief to me. That doesn't mean they don't hear in the unit next door (that's their bedroom) but at least we know they don't hear it downstairs. Three levels of sound abatement seem to have worked! I did have to get off during dh's conference call since my footfall sounded like a bass drum in a marching band! (There's a large decorative rug hanging on the wall between us and our neighbours and another on the wall next to the treadmill to help absorb the sound. The third wall is actually a shoji screen and the fourth is full of books so hopefully sound doesn't move through the wall at all to our neighbour's bedroom. They have never complained and we do talk frequently with them (she's the one who invited us to sing at her nursing home at Christmas.)

Dh had a good time jamming with the neighbour. His wife came home part way through and sang harmonies with them.

It's been a non productive day but I really needed a rest. I'll just have to wing it tomorrow.

At dinner. We decided to go out when I realized I had forgotten to defrost the fish. Trying a restaurant 3000 steps from home. So far we are pleased.

Edited to add my dinner was too greasy but dh had an excellent dinner. We will try different orders next time.
