Things are moving along here...
* meeting w/tax man @ 1:00
* meeting w/antique lady @ 3:00
* called doctor's office for renewal/correction of rx (he had not specified brand-name rx when he did dh's renewals earlier this year)
* talked w/ds re: tax man
* printed ds's tax info b/c he's out of paper
* vacuumed filter area of dryer b/c dryer refused to cut off last night :shock: scares me! DH refuses to change his ways of doing this towel marathon... I just continue to pray that his foolishness doesn't burn our house down. * shaking my head *
* ate breakast, had vitamins

Must s2s now and get ready to go to the tax man.
Tomorrow is another day.

Just went to last PT appointment - I have seen great improvement in the two affected fingers. I can get my wedding band over the joint at times now, not always, however, and I'm afraid to leave it on for too long.

Moses had surgery this morning and vet said that lump on foot was "ugly" meaning probably malignant, I suspect. He also believes that Moe has some pain in his shoulder joint and so took a bone biopsy there - I told him we might as well get all the info we can before we have to make any decisions. I missed the phone call from the vet - still now sure how managed that - and I'll see him this afternoon when I pick Moses up also.

I need to walk Macs, finish a.m. routine and get on with desk day today. I took 1/2 a benydryl last night to help me sleep and slept until 8:30, waking up still groggy.

-walk dMacs
-make the bed
-fold two lol, start a lol
-clear kitchen counter
-write two condolence notes (using cards I've made)

Back from lunch (the chip wagon wasn't there so we went to a sandwich shop), hair cuts, banking and currency purchase. Paid way too much for our ZAR but really don't have much choice.

I have some time before heading out again so it is a toss-up between treadmill and paperwork.

Finally got through that round. I hate writing sympathy notes when I don't know the deceased at all - needed to write two notes for parents of contemporaries where I don't know the parent at all.

Next round:
-fold and put away another load of laundry, reboot what is in the dryer
-call nursing home about rescheduling care plan meeting for dsis which they scheduled for tomorrow
-get rid of 10 pieces of paper from my desk
-send three more emails related to religious school
-ck online mother's bank balance and credit card, download to Quicken

We have finally met all the requirements of the rural water people. I am extremely thankful they provide a much needed service, however I hope I never have to do business with them again.

I met DD on the way home. After a 22 hour stay with DD, DGD3 is back with us.

I am still steadily pushing DD for DGD3 to be enrolled in speech therapy. The current delay is because DD doesn't have DGD3 original birth certificate. Suppose to get it next week.

I am trying to decide whether to buy a different vehicle. While driving today I stumbled upon the make/model/color of vehicle I want except it is older than I am planning to buy in a few months (after turning 59 1/2). SO do I buy this vehicle now and maybe trade again in a few months for a newer one.....or just stay with the vehicle I have for a few more months. DH hates the vehicle I currently drive. HUm.......

Next up -
** daily LOL put away
** load of rugs moved from washer to dryer
** weekly bathroom cards

(Twins) poor doggies.

I'm stressed today. Had to order something for the office, and found the price had tripled since the last time I bought it. Long involved search has told me I must do things a little differently now. It won't be as convenient, but I did save some money.

LadyM, you are right to not tell everyone about LO. People have pre-conceived notions about stuff like that. I'm glad he is doing ok on the med re: side effects.

It is a beautiful day here but I've spent way too much time in front of the computer. DH has finished a job and I've sent off the statement.

I think I'll go put on the chicken for dinner now.

I stopped to review the emergency weather bulletins hitting my email inbox. We certainly can't complain about the weather. If we don't like it, all we have to do is just wait a few hours and it will change. Yesterday it was freezing. Today it is sunny & 60 degrees. Tomorrow is below freezing again with sleet and 4" of snow predicted.

Got a call from school "Your little one is throwing up non-stop". I put DGD3 in the car and off we went. By the time we arrived at school (5 minutes?), LO was better. I am still watching him, but I strongly suspect this was result of merry-go-round overload. He said they had it going very fast and he laid down on it. When he got off the merry-go-round he laid on the ground until the world stopped spinning. However walking from the play ground into the school was more than his stomach could handle. I'll keep watch for any signs of fever, but hopefully it is just a life lesson about staying on the merry-go-round too long.

Lady M - I am so glad LO is having such a positive result from the meds. It must be amazing to see the difference in that ease in doing school work. Sending prayers your way for all your family dealings.

During my life I've known many people with bipolar. Certainly the bipolar practicing alcoholic is often way out of control, but among the others there have been successful and working teachers and police, doctors and medical specialists, office workers, the list goes on and on.

My fatigue is way out there. I may need to recheck my diet, and to actually get more time in bed sleeping, if that is possible.
tai chi today. Washing is needed too. Tomorrow I have a home day If I don't make a move on it today.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
