Ah, the Luck of the Irish!
Busy here today. LOL almost ready to hang; next load sorted ready to go. Big mess in kitchen tidied. Plants outside watered first thing because they did not get done yesterday late afternoon. More at my desk to do and must get a bday card into the mail. It's a beautiful day here.

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Good morning! My query had crashed yesterday, but I put it to rights and restarted it. Last night, I ran two errands (library and grocery store), did massive amounts of church webwork, assembled some pictures for mom, cleaned up the hallway, and actually folded and put away a LOL! I was invited to go out on the town for St. Patrick's day fun, but I have DD13 tonight. Together we look very Irish, but will probably do mundane things like homework and Chinese food (cannot stand corned beef and cabbage).
Tonight, I have much to do. Still preparing to have the videographer on Saturday. Most of the webwork is done, but if I get the Wednesday Night Out menu, I need to post it. Unfortunately, I have to return the car tonight as well. It's not unfortunate I have to return it, but my friend is an incredible night owl and I am likely to be very tired tomorrow. However, I will, as always, enjoy her company.
Gotta get some database filtering done for a report. Bye!

Re: Irish on Tuesday
I hate it when people do things badly and it reflects on me. The co-chair of the committee that dh heads put together and emailed the invitation for the Sat night event at our house - so far I have found four people that she didn't send the email to. I gave her a list that I thought was pretty clear so I am bummed out and embarrassed that now I am contacting these folks to follow up on a party they didn't know they were invited to.
Anyway, I don't know that I have taken care of all of my 10 pieces of paper but I need a break. Going to the grocery, and will get lunch out. We are low on groceries altogether - dh was out of town last week and I didn't do a lot of restocking.

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Hello again! I have marked off two more payroll tasks - my report is complete with the new parameter and all filtering tested. Also important - DAX cluefulness increasing. (DAX is a new-to-me query language).
I have 14 payroll tasks assigned for the current two week period (starting yesterday) and 4 are done. They are varying lengths though. There is plenty of stuff to do obviously, I need to figure out which I want to attack next.

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Hello, villagers ~
I'm restarting my day now. I was up at normal time and did some chores, but decided to schedule in a nap while I had the chance. I feel much better now with the additional sleep.
Today is my last minimally-scheduled day for awhile. Tomorrow will be LEGO Club, and then Thursday-Friday-Saturday will be alternating between work and sewing day camp. Sunday DH and I will be meeting old friends for dinner and a movie.
Goals for today/tonight:
* The kitchen needs a lot of help so I want to focus time and energy there this afternoon.
* Must do 2-3 loads of laundry.
* Must move some things around to be able to set up the ironing board and fabric cutting mat.
* Need to decide which sewing tools I can leave out of the tote bags. If I cut all the fabric here at home, I won't have to haul so much stuff with me Thursday.
* Need to plan outfits for the next 5 very social days. I'll need 2 outfits for Thursday, because I'm sure whatever I wear to sewing camp will have to be changed before going to work at the library. I only have 3 good jeans so I'll have to wear each pair twice. If I plan ahead I can avoid wearing them 2 days in a row.
... Oops, got distracted in the kitchen so this post has been setting awhile. I'm sitting down for a lunch break and figuring out the next move.

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I think dh and I are beginning to recover a bit from yesterday -- and just in time, b/c ds wants to bring dgs over while ds meets w/a heating and air conditioning man. That probably won't take too long, though -- I imagine the man has other places to go and people to see.
DH worries that ds and ddil will spend too much getting this house "just-so" and blow what should have been their savings... and I worry about that , too, but I understand their desire to have things like they want them, as much as possible.
* sheesh * I worry that ddil will get her desire to go on a cruise w/her cousin and dgs will fall overboard.
I haven't completely abandoned my past crazy ways.
All things considered, I guess (I think, anyway) that I have improved in regards to my obsessive, spinning ways. Looking back over old posts last night... good grief. 2014, March, dmil was very ill, and passed away in June (along w/my dcousin)... 2013, March, ddad in TX, passed away in May... 2012, March, dfil passed away, right before dgs' birth in June... 2011, March, ddad had started chemo 4 months earlier... 2010, March, ds & ddil had just gotten engaged. Apparently my life has not been "uneventful" since 2009?

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Amazing day here but I'm tired. I've been awake since 4 (except for a 1 hour nap this afternoon.)
Read a whole book.
Did Bible Study, trivia and book study. Time in the hot tub stretching (the pool is closed due to motion) and a big production show tonight based on Lord of the Dance. There's been a leprechaun (in the form of violinist Ian Cooper) popping up all over the ship today.
We ended the day singing in the saloon.
Off to bed now. Today's another day when the time goes back an hour, third day out of 4 and tomorrow night it will go back again. Time zones are a fluid thing on the ocean. We've been traveling NW and are now almost in the tropics. If you want to look me up, google 23.59.62S, 77.23.72E

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Home from grocery and dkids helped with unloading.
I texted with dh earlier and we agreed we would go out around 7 p.m. and go to a favorite close local restaurant with dkids. I will probably miss the beginning of the webinar.
I informed kids and discussed tomorrow with ds - we need to get away by noon or so as ds also needs to go to grocery and I need to be back home for a 6 p.m. meeting tomorrow.
I am going to break for a bit then need to get moving again:
-hang delicates from washer
-make the bed and straighten up MBR
-email or call five more of the guests re: Sat evening
-print current B/S for religious school
-download income statement, do comparative stmt including budgeted amounts

Re: Irish on Tuesday
Dh received a text to check his medical online chart. The surgery will be May 6. I was hoping for April 20 something. I told dd1 because I figured she would back out on me due to how late in the school year that will be. But she assured me that she will go anyway. Graduation is May 16, so I am hoping she gets her ducks in a row before the surgery, because if she waits, it will hard for her to catch up when we get home.
Last night the wind came up and howled for hours. It is not howling now, but it is windy and cold. 39 at 2 pm and yesterday we reached 89. Brrrrr.....
Better get busy. I have to leave town in 7 weeks and I have my own ducks to get in a row, so I better start lining them up.
