Question -- I need a reasonably priced waterproof storage solution for patio furniture cushions. I'm looking at a couple on Wmart site, and both are generally rated with 4 stars, but both have some negative reviews as well.
Ci:
Nana duty again, and dgs was a poor sleeper last night, so that plus allergy trouble makes for a tired Nana today.
However, we have
gone to the post office with Granddaddy
Written two checks
Reconciled checkbook statement

Breaking for a minute or two. The veggies are all roasted and I'm ready to assemble the lasagnes.

Re: Finally Friday Conga
I think that our rain has stopped and tomorrow is supposed to be at partly sunny and close to 70 degrees.
The lasagne is assembled. I need to get busy again and clean up the kitchen and s2s for temple tonight. Probably want to be there at six p.m. or so, and that is less than two hours.
Trying to get/stay on track:
-make refrigerator room for lasagne and put away
-clean up kitchen and start dishwasher
-s2s and get ready for the evening
-take out meal lasagnes from freezer

Re: Finally Friday Conga
Good afternoon everyone! I finally did something sensible last night and went to bed at a reasonable hour (~10:45). Made payroll significantly easier today. My payroll status is this: 14 tasks were assigned to me for the next two weeks and 7 are done, with 2.5 hours left in the day. Anything else I get done today puts me ahead of schedule! Also, the person in charge while my supervisor is out on paternity leave noticed and commented on a DAX trick I came up with.
At home - not ahead at all. I need to get the house in shape for the videos Saturday at 7 pm. The MBR is not even started. I made progress on the kitchen - 2 counters and the extra table (finally replaced the Christmas tablecloth on it). However, there is another table, 2 more counters, and sweep/mop. Sewing room and DD13's room are not started either. In addition, there is a special Sunday at church, so I have to update the website to reflect that. Everything is posted, I just need to delete some past items and make sure the special info is at the top of the page.
Last night DD13 and I got fast food (apparently Wendy's is a treat for her) and ate at home. She completed her homework while I worked on her dragon quiz. It is not quite complete, but almost. After she left, I picked up meds and did house cleaning. Then, made the intelligent decision for early bed. Today is payday (YEAH!), so soon I should pay my bills and see what is left for the next two weeks. I am living paycheck to paycheck right now in an attempt to not touch any more of my savings. (RunKitty - I just got off 10 months of unemployment in November, so my savings has taken a hit and I am trying to rebuild it. My car has gone to the 'spa' four times in the past 8 months, not helping any.)
Guess I should get back to payroll and earn my next paycheck. I am liking my new job, I have had a particularly productive week.

Re: Finally Friday Conga
Hello everyone. Evening check-in. I got everything on my list from this morning done quickly, except for brushing the dogs. I do that outside, but it was too breezy today, so that will have to wait for the next calm air day. I did get a few other things done. I also napped for about an hour this afternoon. I have felt all day like a cold's coming on.
Harriet, thank you for your comments on our dbil. Our dniece-J called dh this morning. She said he was starting to rally a little for a couple of day, then last night had a setback involving his lungs (from the pneumonia) and his kidneys. They have called in hospice. All we can do is wait for any news.
Harmony, I know what you are going through with your roads and the traffic. They have been working on US 19 here for at least three years and will be till the end of this year, beginning of next. They are adding lanes and putting in overpasses on a 10 mile stretch of road. Good luck on your travels around town and be safe!
Today's the first day of spring, at 6:45 pm (I think).
I decided to come to bed early so I can snuggle under the covers and read a little while.

Re: Finally Friday Conga
Twins' Mom, you are doing a great job of staying on task. Best wishes.
Kathryn, thanks for continuing to check in.
LOL, Dove, well the flowers are under there waiting to surprise you later!
Sunny, do you take dogs outside to brush?
Wow, I have been running. Wanted to do more conga and less of other things!
One of my dreaded phone calls came in and that was a l-o-n-g conversation with him. Still not convinced all is handled. Hmmm.
HRH passed through on his way to a blood draw and suggested I ride along but I just had too much to do.
Took a half-hour to re-organize music for Sunday. So glad I have my alphabetical filing done, or it would be lots tougher.
Dstepson has been here working on outdoor things today. He has been stressed because of a friend's family health concerns.
A teacher finally got dd a rec letter that was supposed to be in her hands a week ago. Sigh. So I ended up racing to the P.O. after that whole packet was complete, barely making it by 5. I'm not sure it helps since it's probably headed to a Monday-Friday only office, but it made her feel better to have it away.
So important, Elizabeth. I with I was more consistent.

Hi, everyone. Finally home. Fridays are long!
Elizabeth, congratulations on the new job. Glad you are enjoying it. And it's admirable that you are so determined to build up your savings again.

Re: Finally Friday Conga
Waving from Saturday as we arrive in Reunion (between Mauritius and Madagascar on your maps.)
Yesterday in Mauritius was wonderful weather and tour but exhausting.
We were back on board at 6:40 and I started icing immediately and iced almost all evening long. We were too tired to eat a proper meal so I had a small turkey sandwich and salad and popcorn and dh had a small pizza and we watched Saving Mr. Banks over the on-demand system.
Technology doesn't work well on the ship, even internally served items like that so it was constantly buffering but we made it through. I didn't mind because I had seen it before.
Camera photos are downloaded, things are recharged and we head off again today for an even longer tour. Yes, I'm worried about my knee. Have also reloaded my purse with ibuprofin.
