hello to each and everyone of you sweet women!!! May you truly have a Fantastic Friday.

I think I will be able to join you today.
Goal is a room by room and the gym with dd younger.

She got great news: all her hard work has helped so much. she is now, at most times, a 3 in pain. She won't ever get rid of the pain but she is working with it.
She saw the dr. and is very happy that she is no longer a 7/8/9 in pain - for dd younger that is huge pain. She is now walking with 2 shoes and started working out at the gym. She is now trying to find balance re what she can and can not do. Dr. has advised against a full college schedule - but dd will figure it out.

off to room by room - may you have a great and wonderful day

CUE HALLELUJIAH CHORUS LOUD!!! I got all my bills paid last night, and have $300 leftover until next Friday payday. My car's spa days no longer affect my finances, everything is PAID OFF. My tax refund is gone, but (except for the mortgage) I am debt free.

Other things I did last night were eat in with DD13, then watch you tube videos she likes. On dropping her off to the x's, I got a passdown of how to care for her dog and the other woman's mouse. The dog is complicated because he has an ophthalmic condition huskies get and requires 2 different eye drops. I should not be doing the other woman any favors, but the mouse has not done anything wrong, so he (she?) will be cared for as well. Their usual animal caretaker is also leaving for spring break. (I doubt the x would EVER care for my cats  ).

I have finished a payroll task and am taking a break right now. The only other payroll tasks I have today are training videos. I may not be able to finish them all, but they can carry over into next week if necessary. Other things I need to do during work hours: get change for $20 and give coworker her Girl Scout cookie change, arrange pick up of GS cookies, call lawyer and set up appointment (another $500 <sigh>).

Tonight I have a dinner with friends. Then many errands: cat food, yarn, GS cookie pickup, buy DD's Easter dragon. The cat food is essential.

My parents are not coming September 25 for Styx. Bummer. Reason is that my brother's baby is going to be arriving mid-September. Un-bummer! :D

Blessed, I am sorry that your DD will have to deal with this her whole life. I will hope that's not so...

I've been out looking for a ladder for DH. HD and couple resale stores. I dropped off stuff there too, but I've been putting that stuff in our declutter thread. Made couple phone calls but so far that's all i've accomplished. Need to get busy around here.

Editing: More work in garage done. Dishes all washed. Yuck, the basin was smelly. Vacuumed whole house. Broom swept front porch. I could do that twice a day and it wouldn't be enough. I'd told DH I was going to take out the honeysuckle vine around the entry arbor because that thing sheds leaves constantly, all year round, but he wasn't sure anything else I planted would be better. I don't agree, but I'm picking my battles.

So often think of your dd younger, dBlessedw2. She'll find ways, I'm sure, to manage her pain level. Kudos to her, she has been handed a full plate so early in life. Blessings to you, too, for being such a great Mom!

I was having withdrawal anxiety. Was using my laptop this morning and it suddenly just stopped working -well at least the mouse wouldn't work and I couldn't get the onboard mouse to take over. Tried jostling the batteries in the mouse -no go. Then I figured I'd stop to get new batteries at W Mart after I left work at church. I couldn't even find a parking place within a normal distance (so how bad was it inside?). Came home, tried again, no luck. I couldn't find AAA's anywhere. Just remembered that I had put new batteries in our defunct scale. Grabbed those and wallah! Here I am again. Crisis adverted. I usually carry a couple extra batteries in my laptop for just that reason but must have used them. So they're now on my shopping list.

Just finished dishes and now to make a plan (on here) and work my plan.

End of a great day here.

Good Chopin concert. Both Schnitzel and Fish and Chips on the menu so I didn't choose, I had 1/2 orders of each.

Won at the slot machines so I'm back up $3 over my original $10 bet. I was down to $2 left so I'm pleased. Can't forget to cash that in before we get into our last port.

Need to get ready for bed now. Tour in the morning. We'll either go back to explore on our own in the afternoon or rest on the ship.

So many were sick from the tour on Monday it is no longer funny. Common denominator is the seafood salad. I had one bite. Just to taste octopus. I will never eat anything I don't think I'll like, ever again. And I'm not eating off ship for the rest of the trip.

Way too bad that you (and others) have been sick but good that you could all pinpoint the cause. That was NOT good. Last year dh and dd both got very sick within a short time of each other. When dd compared notes with many others at a luncheon put on by parents at their school -there were many sickened and the common denominator was a corn/bacon chowder. Not fun to have, but I'm sure it's a good thing being able to name the culprit. I'm always afraid to eat in strange places.
