Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Coming back through. Workers still here working on framing back out the leaky window after another round of repairs. Harmony, they found that the thing at the end of the gutter that diverts water had a gap at the corner, so that may be what was causing the leak when we have heavy rains. The guy who is mowing our yard has been here also, wading through the forest of deep, thick grass that our backyard has turned into. (This guy has done it twice, dh has done it once this year.) I also ordered a War of 1812 pension file at the NARA for my third great grandfather - funny that my login was still good at the NARA site, and the credit card on file there expired in 2008. Also magnet cards for storage for some of my stamping supplies.
This morning hasn't been what I expected. With the meeting this afternoon cancelled, I didn't have to prep for it but I need to regroup and work on my own desk day things until time to go to the dentist. I haven't s2s-ed because I've had worker guys around so I need to do that....

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Hello Dear Ladies,
Possible rain in the forecast today.
DH and dson have gone off to a job site. So it is just Dbrother, the dogs, the cat and me here today. The house is quiet.
Have Dbrothers laundry going in the washer. Want to get the kitchen cleaned today. Think I'll go back to working on one main thing each day. Today will be kitchen, tomorrow the bathrooms, Thursday the floors and Friday the dusting.
Want to get a card out to DH's sister in Michigan today too. I like sending cards to people, I hope it makes them smile.
worked on the budget too, today.
Trying to call Dsister-inlaw in NY too, her daughter flew to South Korea for some kind of get-together with friends she met online. Her mother is quite worried about it, I know I would be too. So call her and try to encourage her.
Off to the adventures!
Great day to all!

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Hmmm... I believe this sat here since 9:00
Just sitting a bit after exercise. School run and Morning Daily Card done. (Well, towels still drying.) Also have done part of the church Desk Day.
Next up a veggie omelet.
Later bloodwork and somehow getting to tractor supply, maybe bank. Unfortunately, these three errands are in three different directions.
Ramblin', I was, at the same time, disappointed that you finally had to have the shots, and grateful for the shots.
I'm another person who's never had problems with septic. Worst problem I've heard of was a structural failure when a truck drove over the septic tank at my aunt's. That was a big hassle that I would recommend avoiding at all costs (yipes), but it didn't have to do with how well the system operated.
Sunshine here as well. The first since the afternoon dd got sunburned and for many days before that. We understand we have this for a day and a half and go back into rain. I'll be interested to learn the monthly rainfall totals for April here and how they will stack up to other years.

All three errands done. Back home to a whole foods shake for lunch here. Then laid out in the sun while the chickens roamed a little. Laundry is ready to flip-flop.

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
I remember one septic tank disaster (of course when dh was working overseas somewhere). The toilet in the powder room backed up and we had to have people come dig up the septic tank. Seems that when it was built there was plywood used and cement poured around it. The plywood on the top evidently rotted and fell into the tank blocking any access to it. What a mess! Seemed like whenever anything major happened at home dh was always in another country working for K odak.
I'm suddenly feeling much better and more energetic than I have in a couple of weeks. Maybe whatever was ailing me has passed through my system? Certainly hope so, I could hardly navigate a short trip to the grocery store or wal mart. And I've been taking the B12 as well -sure that's helping. And another thing helping is that I'm continuing to lose weight (yes, I'm working at it). I'm now about 11 pounds lighter than early February.

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Posted at lunch but it isn't here. I probably shut off my tablet before the post had gone through.
No cavities, all is in order, will go back in 9 months. Woot!
Had a quick lunch at Tim's so I got my chili. It is a cool and rainy day so the warm chili felt great.
Had a nice visit with my senior friend.
Got the car vacuumed ($5 for 6+2/3 minutes, not sure if that is good or not - the vacuum wasn't as good as my home vacuum.) We also wiped it down on the inside. I finished tidying it when I got home and put the new air filter in (I've been carrying it around with me for well over a year!)
So the car has had its spring cleaning.
Before leaving for the dentist, I got the kitchen floor mopped. Now to do the vacuuming of the rest of the apartment and mop the bathroom floors. And clean the bathrooms. If I work efficiently, I might get the bulk of that done by dinner time.
