May have changed a board setting to make posting faster. Let me know if anyone else notices improved speed.
This doesn't change my question about deleting our old PWYC posts. I'm still interested if anyone objects.

Re: Tuesday Transformation
Oh Twins I am thinking of you today and having to make a really hard decision. Poor little guy, but I am sure your son would want to see him and tell him goodbye. Because I am an animal person I get really choked up over this.
Sending you lots of hugs!
I have come down with another really bad cold. I don't know what is going on with this. I had two down in AZ this winter. At the same time I did something to the right side of my lower spine and I am crippling around. Always something. Have a great day everyone.

Re: Tuesday Transformation
Hi everyone! Last night, I got my errands run, did some cooking, sent the adoption application for Keesha to the office and emailed the relevant people it was there, finally posted my finished object to Ravelry (had to add the pattern to their database) and to Arts Crafts and Needlework here, and took some stuff out to my car. I did not do a single thing on the webwork and need to do some tonight.
Tonight is Girls' Night Out with DD13. It will be Chinese, because we had to miss our usual lunch there Sunday in favor of getting prescription cat food for Cleo. I've got to remember to give her the Bible study book so she can do her homework. I have already read the relevant sections.
After she leaves, I will get together my will and any other documents I should get scanned and put them in the car. Since I don't have a working scanner, I will have to get them done at FedEx. Then, I will make DVDs and file one and mail another to my parents. Since they are trustees and executors, they should have a copy. I am sure the x would be shocked to learn he is neither, but he turned out to be untrustworthy.
My crockpot is busy making cube steak with gravy for me. I should look up some crockpot chicken recipes sometime. I've got lots of chicken that I need to start eating.

Re: Tuesday Transformation
Good morning.
((Twins))
I ran this morning.
Had breakfast protein shake.
Need to get ready and run some business errands with DH. I'll be able to get lots of reading done while he is shopping for parts, etc.
Have a good day, everyone.

Lunch time!
I've managed to do two loads through the washer, one dried and put away. S2s, worked at cleaning the adhesive (I think that's what it is) off my bath enclosure (no luck with Goo Gone, magic eraser, baking soda or Fantastik.)
That's it for the day, so not much. Just read taxes are due 5 days later than usual due to a miscommunication by the tax department last Friday (they posted the incorrect date and by the time it was spotted they felt they couldn't go back on what they said.) My tax dollars at work!

Re: Tuesday Transformation
Elizabeth thanks for that crockpot reminder, a great idea for cooking dinner tonight.
One set of errands done & rethinking the rest of them.
Dining room & swept trash is out at the curb.
Having peach tea on my break now.
WTG! Gals.

Re: Tuesday Transformation
Boards have been slow for me also. I always think it's my own problem because my computer is old and Internet connection has been iffy quite often recently. Probably after all this rain I wouldn't be surprised if I'll have to reset it all. Kathryn, personally, I don't mind if you have to delete old posts. I think I've only gone back once to look for something and only a few years back. I keep a journal that I write in occasionally, especially when something different is happening...and rarely go back to look at that either.
If y'all look at the Weather cha nnel and see the radar, that's where I live, underneath it all! This morning we had 1" hail. It woke me up but I don't wake with much alertness and couldn't figure out what the noise was...and went back to sleep. Lady in a shop today told me, then I saw it on the TV. Ah, the noise......
I was out running errands, picking up tool part when DH called he needed stuff to fix a tire on his jobsite so I came back and found the parts and took to him. Guys came running in out of the rain..and someone suggested maybe they should eat lunch.. yeah, go ahead, good idea... and when DH came by they explained and checked with him. I thought it was funny. They follow him around and look to him for everything. I had the mental picture of a Mother Duck with babies trailing behind.
Last errand was done with umbrella, running through puddles. Tucking paperwork under my arm to keep dry, dripping everywhere.
Now I'm running behind and must finish dailies and get busy at my desk. My clothes are finally dry and I've warmed up.
Hugs for (Twins) and (Norma).
Kathryn, the screen for posting comes up fast for me. Actually posting was still very slow.

Re: Tuesday Transformation
I do enjoy going back to look at old posts, where was I a year ago? Two years ago? BUT -- that said, go ahead and delete as needed, Kathryn. It's probably in my best interest NOT to have EVERYTHING I've ever said hanging around here to haunt me, LOL...
And like Harmony said, I do keep sporadic journals here at home and seldom go back to look at those, either.
Today... BIG vote around here. School system trying to raise our property taxes by approx 30%. * sheesh * I may be a retired teacher, but I am among those who feel we are definitely taxed enough. Good gracious. Everyone says we have such extremely low property taxes here in this state, but OTOH, some of our neighboring states do not have state income tax, and we do. Our sales tax is currently 9% -- don't know how that compares to others, but it is very likely it is about to increase to 10 or even 11%! I suspect tobacco and alcohol taxes are higher here than in some places, as well... and of course, we have no state lottery, so it's just a bad situation. BUT... I do not want to vote to make a bad situation worse for my own family, you know?
Feelings run high around here, and the ones who are FOR the tax seem to think the ones who are AGAINST are just ignorant and backward.
So that is the #1 thing around here.
Then dh and I are going shopping for dmom's Mother's Day gift. (That means I'll shop and dh will sit in the car.) And we'll eat supper before we come home to await the vote tally on the radio or internet.
Transformation...
Well, that vote could be pretty transforming for my pocketbook...
Otherwise, I seem to have stalled out. No makeover, no transformation here. I am really in a bad lull as far as household tasks go. I mean, I'm always pretty far behind you girls, but I have really sorta hit bottom lately. I guess I've just got to back my ears and get to it, and force myself to do the 15 minutes at a time, at least.
