Nancy, I hope your heels feel better. If you moisturize/oil and wear old socks to bed over them would that help?
lucylee, B-12 is such a help as far as what our bodies need that it's a lot better than most any other pill.
Here is my new order of weekday early mornings:
bathroom, weigh, take thyroid pill,
In kitchen get a pint of water (drink gradually while getting ready, carrying tumbler around), take probiotic with the last of that. Then one B-12 sublingual 1,000 mcg right away as I put my tumbler back in kitchen. This way the B-12 is almost gone before I start driving. I've found that if I drive with one in my mouth I tend to bite it without thinking rather than letting it melt in my mouth. This may not be the best time of day but it does get one done. Then I try to remember another later in the day, such as following lunch as I put lunch things away.
The exercise that worked well for me this past week was the full workout over two days, 30 mins each. Then 30 min floor workout the next day. Last week I also added in a more advanced faster total workout the next day. However, that one was pretty rushed and I didn't feel it was my best form. So I may make a point to choose more precision ones. Absolutely love the floor workout, though. It's a nearly perfect choice for me.
Like lucylee and Kathryn, how much time I give to exercise is something I think about. I haven't yet incorporated specific "high intensity" exercise like the FastExercise book (and others) suggest, to cut exercise time. (except that some moves in T Tapp are intense and fast, but a workout still takes time) I'm still thinking about that.
Ramblin', one reason I may decide on a NutriBullet like yours is that my VitaMix accepts such large quantities. Seems like a lot of a one-person smoothie gets left behind in the mixing container. As I understand it, one big draw of nutri-bullet is that the mixing container doubles as the glass for less waste. Have you had problems with the gaskets as some say they have? The VitaMix gasket is at lid, not motor, so I've never thought of gasket trouble. How many do you make per day usually?
I had cereal Saturday with milk and it made me feel awful. Also started cravings. I'm not discounting the milk I had with it, but I suppose I was most affected by the wheat, which was the second ingredient. Sleepy, felt "down". Also later I "needed" another bowl of cereal.

Re: Health & Fitness May 2015
Harriet: dd showed me how a standard canning jar can be used as the blender container on a Oster blender. So she just puts her smoothie stuff in that, attaches the blade thingy (cuff and blade), inverts and puts it in the blender. When it is mixed, she inverts, removes the cuff and blade, pops in a straw and is good to go! She can use 500 ml jars. Not quite as convenient as removing the lid to add the ingredients which I believe some recipes require, but it works great for her. Plus the leftover can go in the fridge with a canning jar lid and since she has lots of jars, she can make up a second one for her dh without dumping the remainder of hers.
Today is day 4. I didn't keep within the calories but was over by just over 200 (maybe less once I'm done on the treadmill and get credit for this movement.)
I had my can of Dr. Pepper today. Knowing I just had to wait until Sunday made not having it through the week easier. And since I was having those calories, I found it easy to decline the cake at church coffee hour.

I taped the heels better today and was able to brave W-mart. Will finish the last 6-8 rocks on the path. Raked the seeds in the front yard for some arm workout. I am taking flax seed oil capsules for dry skin hope it helps.

Re: Health & Fitness May 2015
Well I am starting back on my Stubborn fat begone program. Not much different than what I have been doing, but I will be adding the protein egg shake for my breakfasts. Don't know how my body will handle that part, but I can add flax seed to it which I need to keep things "going"
Day 4 for me too Kathryn...9 miles down. I have a bike that I want to start riding, however it needs to have the tires and tubes replaced. I have both but need Sweetie to help me...which translates to he will end up doing most of the work
My fitness classes are Monday and Wed nights plus one on Sat. morning. The fellow that has been running it is now working with another part of the program so there will be new guy leading it. New things always scare alot of people, but I have a friend who is already working out with him and gives him glowing reviews. Patrick, the other trainer, will be holding classes on Tue mornings at 6 am
at a local park. its a bit of a drive from here but I want to stay in touch with him so I want to try to do it.
Patrick has been really good about working on my neck. I have a prescription from my headache dr to start physical therapy for it, but Patrick wont be there to do it. He promised me that Chris, the new fellow, is just as good. Patrick is the first person in a very long time that I have allowed to work on my neck because I trust him so much. He is positive that PT will help my neck and therefore reduce some of my headaches, so I am putting my faith in his recommendation and will let Chris work with me.
I am including a link for those of you interested in following the EWL tv program. It shows many of the contestences that will appear on the show. I have personally met most of them and enjoyed some of their company on hikes and such. For those interested Chis Powell, who produces the program, has a book called Choose More, Lose More. This is the exact program that is used by the contestances. He uses the carbo cycling way to eat. If any of you are interested let me know and I will post more information.
I am a bit disappointed in the Jorge Cruise's book. It appears to me that he has fallen into the "way I can make money" and many of the followers, myself included, are really happy about it. However many who follow the 100 Sugar Calorie program are having great success. I belong to the The 100 Support Group on FB and many have lost 30-40 bls in 12 weeks. Now in defense of that the poeple who are loosing large amounts of weight have NOT posted what they weighed at the start of the program, but if you're on FB you might want to check it out. The 100 is a closed group. Everyone is extremely supportive and between everyone post lots of valualbe informaiton and recipes.
As for Chis Powell y'all know I have been involved with his "group" since Nov. and having been around him and his organization I can tell you ...The man is one of the nicest and most sincere man I have ever met. So is his wife Heidi. What you see is what you get. He lives a very faith based life and practices what he preaches in that he's really in the "game" to change lives and beat obesity, not to make the money. He is so humble and inspiring when he talks. I wish you could hear what all the people he has helped have to say about him. I was skeptical at first, but can't begin to tell you how blessed I am to have fallen into this group. I just wish I could bring you all along with me when I am around him and the people he has helped. Chris is truly a one-of-guy.

Ramblin' I enjoyed the link. This is not a "contest" type of weight loss show, like Biggest Loser, I think? I think BL always seemed to get ugly and mean-spirited at some point during the season as some got desperate for wins. I suppose you will be rooting for everyone rather than feeling like you choose a contestant. I hope you have good communication with Chris and find a lot of trust as well.
Egg breakfast - I usually try to add veggies in some way, because I completely understand the "keep things going" concern. Lately I have been chopping up shiitake mushrooms along with bell pepper and making an omelet. I don't know how I would fare with egg in a drink - I usually resist that. HRH hates the smell of the mushrooms, lol.
Kathryn, if dd has found a way to use mason jars she has really got something there. That would give her a lot of options for both she and dh, plus options for refrigerating.
Had posted about exercise in Cardfile Central as it relates to Weeklies. I know there is one workout I'd like most to look back on as "completed" every week. It's about 55 minutes. So If I just slot that for Monday on a consistent basis, whether I complete it or do half and do the next half later, I'll have a nice moment of card-success-refiling every Monday. And that should offer optimism for the rest of each week.

Walked to the bagel shop (about a mile.) Am not in pain at this point so this is a good thing.
I'm just plugging along here. Panic eating is threatening to take hold as the week goes by and I still am at the beginning of the accounting process.

Re: Health & Fitness May 2015
After reading more, Ramblin', I get it now. Extreme Weight Loss is a reality show modeled after the one-person's-life-at-a-time format, such as BBC's You Are What You Eat (or, for that matter, the Clean House or Hoarders or decorating shows). One person (or two, such as siblings) is showcased per episode. That would be a lot kinder, more thoughtful and easier to watch.
I talked too much about the nutri-bullet and I have a Mother's Day gift of one in a box in the kitchen now. I was not ready for it. In an effort to be good to me, it is the "pro" so cost more, has more parts. Also taller. Very hard to say now that the low price tag and small size of the original were very interesting features to me.
I did the 30-minute floor workout yesterday and have done 30 minutes of the total workout today. Don't know if I will do the remainder of that this evening or not. Have really had too many calories today. Hmmm... ...
So interesting to hear Dee's experience with B-12 in PWYC. Happy for her.

Harriet... I love my bullet and have had no problems with it. I think I received three big 20oz ??? Cups.
I've bees reading abt women my age needing protein .. 4oz ... With every meal. The muscle mass we lose starting at 40 is astounding. I knew it but now at my age can really tell a difference even with exercising. I am doing weights which is good for my age but will add more protein.
