Getting back on track with my exercise. Dishwasher is going now.
I need a water break after my walk. It is time to check the laundry again now. My system is getting back on track now too.

Lots of fabulous things happening in our village!
And some not-so-fabulous... Especially flooding (((LadyM))) and bad emails to deal with, (((Harruet))).

I have done devotional reading,
Had breakfast and vitamins,
Paid two bills,
Made phone call to credit card company, and
Made phone call for event tickets. (Grand Ole Opry.)

Dee -- I think Chonda Pierce will be excellent for your dd! I love her -- we saw her at the Opry some years ago.

Well, go me!
I have now
-- cleaned dh's shower
-- s/s all toilets, with a little extra attention to hinges w/toothbrush and some use of pumice stone on rims -- done imperfectly for certain, lots of room for improvement, but still -- more attention than they've received in quite a while
-- cleaned bathroom mirrors
-- watered plants

If y'all knew how long all this had been neglected, you'd understand my hooray for me. I do s/s toilets at least every other day, 99% of the time... But the rest has been neglected for waaay too long!

-- decluttered one magazine
-- walked away the pounds 15 min

To compare is to despair. God has a plan for you; don't compare His plan for you to that of others.

Sitting here in the office with curtains drawn to block the sun. Dcat has a little padded shelf at window height so he can look outside & he is sleeping there now. I was up early & watered all the flowers; glad I did that while it was so cool & there was even a little breeze. Ran errands on the way home from an appointment this morning but didn't get to the last stop on my list. I needed a few groceries but it was already after 1:30 & I was hungry so I'll brave the weekend crowds tomorrow.

I ran down to the laundry room before having lunch to throw in a load. I always feel ahead of the game when laundry is spinning while I'm having a meal. That last load has been sitting there since Tuesday. Made plans with a dfriend for lunch next month & dealt with some paperwork. I'll spend a little more time online & then continue working on my to do list before making dinner.

Waving ~~~ to everyone. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. :)

Got the water bottles refilled this morning. ToddlerN came after lunch watching aristocats bc it was thundering and rained a bit here so we had to come back inside after I closed the coop so the wind would not bang it around.

I saw on fb last night where neighbors gd was at cheer camp and fell hurt her chin and had to have 5-6 stitches on it.

Hi everyone! I just finished a particularly knotty problem at payroll. Tonight's plan is to finish the door repair, finish the will and trust stuff, wind some white yarn, and get my sewing project bags organized.

LadyM: I didn't know there were TB shots. I could have used on in 2004 when my niece got it. Her doctors swore she was not contagious, but guess who she gave it to? (At least it was me and not her immuno-compromised great-grandmother).

Elizabeth - Now I'm confused. I went to local news site to confirm they were giving TB shots, however I can't find the article I read earlier. I did find two articles about free Tetanus shots being given. I can only assume that I read/remembered the article wrong. It is Tetanus instead of TB.

I didn't stay at VBS because there was an abundance of help. This church is full of life-long friends and I am totally comfortable leaving LO in their care. I will pop back in the VBS happenings in about 30 minutes to check that everything is going okay.

Mowing has been a challenge because the mower keeps getting stuck. BIG TIME stuck....as in it takes a tractor or 4 wheel vehicle to pull the mower free. We have buried the mower 4 times but DH has been able to dig/pull it out without damage. I have been mowing with a manual push mower. The push mower can be easily dragged out when it gets bogged down. It takes so long though.....besides being a super work-out! After mowing for a while today I was exhausted & hot, so I got into the 70 degree swim pool. Instant cool down! By the time I finished a glass of ice tea, my energy level was restored and I was ready to go again.

I think aliens have taken over my body -- I vacuumed the "living area" of the house while dh was getting ready to go out, even after dgs arrived!
We ate supper and now dgs and I are walking around outside... Picking up sticks and hickory nuts and dandelions.
And five years ago today I was sooo terrified that ds's wedding would bring too much "change" to my life. Wow...
I'm so sorry I couldn't believe y'all about how wonderful these changes would be. I know you are all ROFLOL...
