Harmony, I told our leadership the way I was feeling about an issue and they listened. Sometimes that helps or at least makes you feel heard. I can't tell you it is easy - it's hard. Also, that involvement led to more involvement, lol. I am now working harder, so be careful not to let anyone equate your interest and opinion with the idea that you have time on your hands.

Headache - Agreed. Both dcousin's wife and I have a headache today, I learned.

I missed church today for the first time this calendar year. This means I drove to and from church twice, taking dd and picking her up. She led singing alone, which no one has had to do. I had told our bass leader that I had laryngitis but he still didn't come, and didn't let me know so that I could ask tenor. he only told pianist last evening, for some reason - what good does that do. Minister invited an alto and copied us all in the email, but she didn't come. Oh well. 16-year-old leading by herself, guys.

I am spending so much time on attempting to mend the extended family upset. It is hard not to grow bitter, but it may be a worthwhile thing. It is taking time away from other responsibilities so I will have to taper off and just pray some of this takes root. If actually visiting with anyone were to come up, I would have to say "no" because they have kept me at email so much my hair's not done. Might tell them that.

Tomorrow's 5x5 is not completely clear to me, but I know it will include:

Miss sassy pants returned I have changed to comfy capris.
Went on a jeep drive w h today for his father's day gift. He did not want to eat at the 1st picnic table I spottted it was in the sun, some guy was sighting in hit riffle, h drove right on by the 2nd one close to the 1st one. I told him I usually eat at eleven thirty, the next one was 7 mi. Further At 35 mph it took a while to get tbere. I had waited to take my insulin so do not know what happened, lunch was late for me I had a bs crash & almost passed out bc of bs low blood sugar and needless to say it was not one of my better drives. It was way up in the boonies like next to a lookout tower. Sigh men! Why do you have to get upset and cranky to get theif attn. And yo listen. This could have been a life & death situation. I now know I am not goibg to be so willing to go up there again. Do not know how wise it is for me.

Then later in the day bs was way up sigh it is to hot to think about doing any thing outside just now. Home safe any how. Hens are fine. Bs is closer to my target now. Took a short walk. Unloaded the jeep cleaned out the ice chests.

Saw a kid friends with our kids that went to youth group together at the campground that was great! Great drive home. Glad I had a spare shirt, note to self next time take a spare short sleeved one bc of the summer temps.

Thank you, LadyMaverick, for the auto store idea. I took the car in and they diagnosed a bad sensor in the heating system. Luckily nothing that can't wait for a bit. So that was easy. I am glad that you had such a happy time with your DGD and LO today at church and at your after-church meal. It is good to see all your love and hard work paying off.
