My sink blew up w dishes and muck last night bc I didn't do them

Trying to stay on routine when ur not home is difficult

Smiling at my half-understanding of blessed's French encouragement.

In Scots, "trig" means clean or to clean - it's either an adjective or a verb. and "tidy" is used with it in phrases. So I can try this.. ...

I scant know how ta keep a hous trig. But the sellar's a trig and tidy. (sellar = living room) The hous wis fairly trigged up yhystyr-day. I'll trig an' mak it tidy by nicht!

I'm sure that's a combination of new and ancient, and a true speaker of Scots would shake their head over me, lol!

Here I'm staying close to the cards. As always the front of the house looks better than the rest. Have not been so busy lately that I let the Evening Daily Card go by. (That happened twice last month - just overwhelmed and it was a downer the next mornings.)

I don't think it caused any wee mousies beyond what we'd usually expect. Tobias has only gotten one all winter and he wouldn't rest if he thought they were close. So I think that one was a "scout", lol, and thankfully HRH got to him quickly and he was tossed away from the cat into the grass! Maybe he went back and told his friends to move on! I hope he could also tell them there was nothing much to eat on the kitchen floor!

Hi dear Harriet - I'm thinking the Scottish trig sounds so gloss to the Irish jig - can I jog while I trig?

So true about not doing the night time errands lol - I love the wee house fairy

We had little mice this year but this morning one of the cats dropped a half alive mouse on dd youngers bed while she was in bed - lol I heard a scream - dd wasn't amused lol

I did dishes before leaving yesterday- it is awesome waking up this way!

I ran the dish washer last nite, got the rugs shook out and swept the kitchen h took out the trash this a m . So something got done yea. Rain here today so chore cards might be a good thing to do up before painting on rocks!
