Twins…
It’s called Postherpetic neuralgia. The shingles pain continues long after the blisters have cleared. This condition is known as as Postherpetic neuralgia and it occurs when damaged nerve fibers send confused and exaggerated messages of pain from your skin to your brain.

The medicine is very strong and I can tell it’s making me feel strange. Hope that effect will lessen as my body gets use to it.

Hello. Having a quiet day. It's very windy with a fire hazard in effect. I went out to water everything because. We've had no rain. I have my one new tomato plant in. Poor little thing out there.in the drought and wind.

I got to looking at my clothes today. Tried on some things. Some went to the laundry, some got tossed and I gave some away. A few in the donation bag. I think I need a whole new wardrobe, but this will have to do.

Sorry for those who are dealing with faltering parents. (Rrose) never heard of that nerve trouble. Hope it doesn't last long

A very good friend of ours suffered from that nerve pain after Shingles, RR. Know it was a rough go.

Back from service for Dsisil. I'm quite tired. Can't imagine how exhausted Dbil is. Dh/DS-R aren't home yet. Dsonil came home about an hour ahead of us and dd and I just got home. It was so good seeing some people -lots I haven't seen in a decade or more. Most likely might not again either.

Dh has our car more than 1/2 packed. Still not sure if they're leaving tomorrow sometime or Monday. Know he'd like to get on the road but understand DS not wanting to get going yet.

Had way too many carbs this afternoon I'm sure. Glad to be able to come home when we did. I kept trying to get into the bathroom there -but that just wasn't happening.

We won one and lost one. Dgs got on base in each game (walked) and scored a run in the first game. He also made a couple good plays in the outfield, so it was a good day.
But ooohhh… so cold and windy! Glad to be home. We napped and ate, and dh is asleep again!
Tomorrow is another day.

(((((RR))))

Another busy day.

The event at the farm was well attended and exceeded expectations. DD10 had a good day and came home exhausted. She is already asleep.

I made a quick trip to the city and picked up 10 prescriptions. 9 are for DH and 1 for me (Vit d). All of them are for 90 days so we are good until the first part of July. I am very pleased to be able to get everything in one trip.

I made 6 trips today as the kids uber driver. I was monitoring the number of miles left on the screen because I was getting low on gas. I don't like having less than 100 miles left but it all worked out okay and I was able to get filled back up.

We are having a community meal tomorrow @ lunch. I'm running low on energy, time and have a lack of planning so I opted to buy easy ingredients to make side dish and dessert to take. Coleslaw and cookies.

"hello" back to blessed and all.

Ramblin', to me, your dmother has had such a remarkable life and I'm sorry to hear she suffered from a UTI recently. One thing about it, upon recovery she may well have great improvement in faculties since UTI affects so much mentally. I'm sorry she will not be able to go home soon and benefit from familiar surroundings. Best hopes for quick recovery.

I've done a lot of plant things today, watering and fertilizing.

The frost tonight is still a definite one, but some sources are starting to say, "scattered". As you can imagine, this is just as we were all saying how beautiful the spring-green buds on trees and shrubs have been.

Two of our kids are headed out because schools are giving a break. Ds' family left today for a rented beach house and will see some in-law family while there. Dd42's family leaves in the morning for her dsisil's house where, on Monday, other in-laws come in for a family meal.

Dd23 comes to their house to trade off the baton of taking care of the puppy and to be there to watch the house until they return on Tuesday. So we expect visits from her as a walker with a puppy.

Dstepson has a sister-in-law visiting him, so we'll see less of them. He came by yesterday.
